This is a reasonably priced, comfortable and quiet resort centrally located in Negril and directly on the beach. My room on the upper level was recently renovated and was clean and spacious. The room had a comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, ample closet space, a safety deposit box and wall mounted TV. In addition, it included a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, stove and kitchen sink. The bathroom had a walk in shower and was spacious. There was plenty of free on site parking for my rent a car. Resort staff was courteous and professional. The restaurant at the resort served delicious meals and the beach area was well maintained. I would definitely stay here again when in Negril.

Nothing fancy here however it’s very clean and comfortable and friendly staff. The beach area was not kept there was a lot of seaweed which should have been clean to give the beach area a better appearance instead of looking dirty.

This was my 3rd stay at Roots. Loved it everytime. The staff are brilliant. Especially Opia and Matthew who go out of their way to make you comfortable. Mon, Wed ànd Friday nights are free party nights there. The place was rocking! Loved it n thanks again RB youll be seeing me and mine again soon.

Nette Anlage direkt am Strand. Saubere Zimmer u. freundliches Hotelpersonal. Aber beim Frühstück/Abendessen wird man manchmal ignoriert u man wartet eine Ewigkeit bis jemand kommt der einen fragt was man bestellen möchte

Checked in the room had flying mosquitos etc all in the room had to buy bug spray. The kitchenette ate was not cleaned at all. I had to spray for the ant insects. Nightlife and scenery is okay. We arrived no towels, soap was given. Second night no WiFi at all so if you looking for comfort not the place. Service is not that great. For the price they should atleast make sure the room is stocked with things every guest should have if this place is a resort.

My sister and I stayed for a week! Ms Denise and her staff were most excellent in meeting all of our needs. So courteous and helpful, ALWAYS with a smile. Cottage was very clean, bed was comfy with clean crisp sheets! Kitchenette with a fridge, was a nice addition! We were just a short walk (one minute) from the beach. A shower area where ww could rinse off after the beach. The garden areas were always being groomed. And our room had air conditioning, I believe they all do. Thank you Denise and your staff for making our stay the best!! I cannot recommend this gem enough!

Hello, I love the little Cottages and the people were super nice and Friendly. The place let me feel like I am on a little Festival Music all over but I loved it. The beds and bath room was clean and good and for the money perfekt left side you have the Woodstock so Music is a part off the Place if you come to Negril to have good Vibes that is your place. Blessed Love

The service by Ravel was the best part. His custom service is unmatched in all of my frequent travels to JAMAICA!!! We had six rooms of friends and family and were well satisfied. We will be back!! The music was great, the sax player Richard was amazing my husband and I enjoyed!

Centrally located on SMB with easy access to all. I had a comfy stay and a great experience, especially in the modern upper level apt. I enjoyed the nighttime live music. Staff was very personable and quite responsive. Special mention to Ravel and Theo. See you soon!

My second home, my healing space and the staff is my extended family forever…Thank you Miya and June for making my birthday so special the room was decorated so beautifully! Centrally located on SMB with easy access to all. I had a comfy stay and a great experience, especially in the modern upper level apt. I enjoyed the nighttime live music. Staff was very personable and quite responsive. Special mention to Ravel and Theo. See you soon!

This is a reasonably priced, comfortable and quiet resort centrally located in Negril and directly on the beach. My room on the upper level was recently renovated and was clean and spacious. The room had a comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, ample closet space, a safety deposit box and wall mounted TV. In addition, it included a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, stove and kitchen sink. The bathroom had a walk in shower and was spacious. There was plenty of free on site parking for my rent a car. Resort staff was courteous and professional. The restaurant at the resort served delicious meals and the beach area was well maintained. I would definitely stay here again when in Negril.

There were so many amazing aspects to our stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel staff incredibly warm, very very accommodating, welcoming and overall amazing. Furthermore, the rooms had gorgeous artwork on the walls, the room, balcony and bathrooms were clean, spacious for three guests and came stocked with towels and soap. Our room, the Hummingbird, included a kitchenette and tv which were much appreciated. Additionally, the restaurant staff were friendly as well. We were able to dine on the beach with no problems. Finally, beach umbrellas and chairs were also available free of cost for us, guests. There were also lots of spots to take pictures. The beach was spotless, there wasn’t even seaweed on the beach (we visited in June) I will back to Roots Bamboo Resort.

Honestly, if you’re not looking for something extremely lavish but still cozy for a nice trip to Jamaica, I’d recommend this place. They have events different days of the week and it’s right on the beach so you don’t have to leave the resort too much unless you’re exploring with the locals. I’d definitely stay here again.
