IF I COULD GIVE ZERO (0) STARS I WOULD RATE THIS HOTEL 0⭐️🚫! 👎FALSE ADVERTISING BY HAVING PICS OF THE INDOOR WATERPARK & POOL ON THE WEBSITE...WASN'T JUST CLOSED, BUT ABSOLUTELY NO WATER IN SIGHT! (TOOK PICS FOR PROOF.) NOTIFIED THE FRONT DESK REGISTRATION STAFF OF THIS & HE SAID, "NO POOL OR WATERPARK IN A FEW YEARS."...NO APOLOGY, NO ROOM DISCOUNT OFFER WHEN ASKED FOR A DISCOUNT DUE TO FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THE BATHROOM LIGHT BUZZED & FLASHED SO BAD ( ELECTRICAL FIRE HAZARD) WE COULDN'T USE THE LIGHT AT ALL. (TOOK VIDEO FOR PROOF.) COULD ACTUALLY FEEL THE FLOOR (1ST FLOOR, GROUND LEVEL) MOVING UNDERNEATH OUR FEET BC IT WAS SO UNSTABLE. ROOM SMELLED OF MILDEW. Was disappointed to find out that the pool was closed!!!!!

Our first room we were offered was filthy. There were "love" stains on the sheets, plugs that came out of the wall, and an air conditioner that didnt work. Plus it was on the Second floor and there was no elevator. We were told there were no first floor rooms available at check in. When we complained about the room and requested a refund to leave, suddenly there was a first floor updated room available for us. It was much cleaner but the door still stuck and had to be shoved to open. The security doors in the halls didnt lock. The lobby doors had the locks drilled out and they locked them using a bicycle lock. Never again.

This hotel is run down. We didn't have a choice where we were staying but it would not have been this place. The water parked has been closed for who knows how long. There is a constant smell going around. There was a window blown out and covered with a tarp. Half the applicences didn't work. The AC leaked if you went below 68. All the lamps are rusty. It's not a clean place and I do not recommend it for anyone. Oh and the key cards deactivate randomly so you have to constantly go back to the first desk. Not pleasent

The building is unsafe. The locks on the doors to the outside are broken. Could not get a person at the front desk, outlets broke in room, phone broke. Linens full of burn holes. Pull out couch had thin nasty mattress. Peeling paint on the ceilings, mold. Nasty carpets, no elevator for handicap. Structural failure of building walls and floor. Laundry room broken ice machines broken. Did not feel safe would not have stayed if not with others.

Liked it on the Expedia page, but that was a big lie with a very high price for no amenities. No pool, no breakfast, run down property. Partying, dope smoking, people outside the broken door, kept us up! Missing hdmi cable on the tv. Awful stay

The young lady at check in was very nice. But this is an old hotel, and it has not been updated. At first glance it looks to be clean, but you can see dirt and wear around the lamps, around the bathtub, around the sink. There was a stink bug in my sink, and there was a millipede crawling on the bathroom floor. Also, the exterior door of the hotel which is supposed to be opened only with your key card was not locked at any point during our stay. So anyone from anywhere could gain access to the interior of the hotel and, therefore, the rooms. We were given the adjoining rooms that I asked for. We did not arrive at the hotel until 1:00 a.m., and we left at 9:00 a.m. so I suppose that $80 a room was a good price for 8 hours of using the room. As a one-time stay, I was disappointed, but I slept through the whole thing, so I guess I can't complain too much. But I would definitely not use this as a base hotel.

Nothing the water park doesn’t work , no breakfast horrible place do not recommend

If I could give this place a -100 Stars I would! I would not suggest this place to sleep unless it is your ULTIMATE LAST RESORT!! If you cannot find a Walmart bathroom, your back seat is full, and you cannot sleep in your car, a rest area that is unavailable, or anywhere else on earth that is not available and you have to find a place to live, this should be your very last resort. This makes the Bates Motel a 5 star hotel. For anyone that is a "it's just a one night or a couple nights" person, do not say that for this apocalypse style hotel. - The pool doesn't work, it is shut down! They are not working on it. It looks like a scene from The Walking Dead. - The pictures are ALL MISLEADING. We checked in, which was handled by a very unprofessional, and rude gentleman. The first room smelled like smoke and body odor, mold, there were cigarette burns on the comforter, dirty sheets and was just a mess. We didn't get pictures of the first room and we should have. We got into a different room which was better, but still a mess. More mold, failing and discolored ceiling, dirty, this room did smell like smoke but didn't smell as bad. Burns in the comforter. The pillows were yellow and granted it could have been from bleaching, however the way the rest of the room looked, I wouldn't count on it. The shower is the worst. There was more pressure in the sink than the shower. The water was cold, and the water pressure was non existent.

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and prepaid $300 for a two-night stay. When we arrived, the front desk said they had no record of our reservation. They asked for an additional $56 to stay for one night and said we’d need to come back in the morning to try booking the second night. I showed them email confirmation, including details about a security deposit, but they refused to acknowledge it, wouldn’t answer questions, and kept insisting I swipe my card again without explanation. The property was in extremely poor condition. The pool was drained and surrounded by boxes. The men’s bathroom had a urinal torn off the wall, and the trash was overflowing with fire extinguisher tags. The building looked unsafe—walls were visibly bowing, windows were broken, and none of the rooms had curtains. We also saw people loitering near the building, which added to the feeling of insecurity. Because we were traveling with our two-year-old, we made the difficult decision to leave. All other hotels nearby were booked due to local graduations, so we drove through the night. We received no service and were left with no safe place to stay. This hotel should not be listed on any booking site until major safety and service issues are resolved. It was completely misrepresented online and should not be offered as a lodging option in its current state.

It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but it could have been better. My comforter was dirty & we didn’t realize it until right before check out. Also, the cover for the bed had obvious burn holes from cigarettes. The room was humid and smelled musty, and it wasn’t completely clean. We found hair that wasn’t ours in the shower. It was convenient to get to, and the staff was friendly. I just wish it was cleaner.

Our hotel room was clean and it met what I needed. I needed the least expensive room I could find within the location we needed to stay. It met our needs. I think the people managing the hotel need to paint part of the room, like the door going into the bathroom and make some small repairs in the bathroom area.

The room was very dirty. Stains on sheets and walls. Mold in the bathroom. Door to the room was broken and was hard to get the latch to lock. Only the desk light would turn on. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are desperate for a place to sleep

First of all, the photos on the Expedia listing are either not of this hotel or they updated one room for photos only. I have stayed in a lot of roadside hotels over the years, and this is the first time I have felt truly unsafe and rather repulsed by the condition of the room. There were drunk and/or high people wandering the halls and yelling (these were the only other guests I saw), so once I entered my room, I was too nervous to go back out and walk my dog around the building. The room itself was filthy and reeked of smoke (despite being non-smoking), the sheets were dirty/stained, the towels were yellowish and threadbare, the bathroom fixtures were falling off the walls and broken, the carpet and bedspread were stained and covered with cigarette burns, the main light when you entered was burned out so I had to enter a pitch black room, the deadbolt didn't engage, and the peep hole was empty and filled in with toilet paper. Outside of my room, all of the exterior doors I saw were hanging open and the locks were duct taped over and there were wide open or broken windows along the rear wall of the abandoned indoor water park and pool, so literally anyone could have walked or climbed in. I have many photos to back all of this up. Finally, my room had a door to an adjoining room, and the people next door came back messed up, shouting and laughing at 4 AM, so I finally gave up trying to sleep and got out of there as early as possible.

These rooms should be condemned. Fixtures falling, visible mold, horrible smell and sheets were not clean. Don’t ever ever ever stay here, I’d rather sleep in a tent

This was the worst stay in my history of staying at hotels. Stay away go to motel 6 pay less and get better beds and no blood in your sheets

2 small pillows on a king size bed. Shower was dirty and very slippery warm water never got hot. Tv was broke. Outlets on lights were broke. No iron but had ironing board. Ac/heat ancient very small towels. Sink stopped up

My TV didn't work, but I don't watch TV anyway. The refrigerator also didn't work and I use insulin, so I had to keep getting ice at nearby businesses. The bed was comfortable.

The lobby looks ok but my room was very run down. Visible drywall patches everywhere, no water pressure at the sink, toilet didn’t feel attached to the floor. This room was in rough shape.

The heather does not work

The room smelled moldy, the furnishings were outdated. When you turned the water on in the sink it shot out all crazy all over your clothes. The water in the shower wouldnt get hot just warm enough to shower. Looked nothing like the pics of the rooms on expedia.

Air conditioner leaked and dripped all night. Got the carpet wet and constant drip noise. Burn hole in blanket, room smelled like a mix of mildew and Marijuana

As I had booked through hotels.com I was given room 244 which was the furthest away from reception. The room was smelly. Has someone died in there? The aircon took all night to even get the room to room temperature. No facilities in the room. Power connections on the lamps were loose and would be dangerous for little fingers.

Beds were very squeaky and tv did not work.

Was lied to by oyo corporate when extending stay tried to get manager to help all they wanted where more fees spoke about me in different language and would not help

The experience started off poorly with a late-night check-in that was anything but welcoming. The associate was on a personal call -- on speaker, no less -- while checking us in, barely acknowledging us. He told us we'd have to walk around to the back to access our room, only for us to find out later that we could have entered directly through the lobby. Now, let's talk about the room. The only positive: the bed was large and fairly comfortable. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The room was far from clean -- dirty underwear from a previous guest and what appeared to e a bloody washcloth were left on the floor. The toilet barely flushed, and when I tried to use the shower, the faucet literally fell off. To top it all off, the sheets and bedding where stained and had cigarette burns. The only reason I stayed here was because I was attending a college graduation and all other nearby hotels were fully booked. This experience taught me a valuable lesson: never stay anywhere with less than three starts. You truly get what you pay for. I would never recommend this to anyone else.

The pool wasn't open, the room was filthy, the toilet paper holder wasn't even attached to the wall the toilet paper was on the side of the tub. I had to paid for 2 nights and my Mother and I refused to stay another night I tried to get my money back and wouldn't and the staff was rude to my 72 yr old mother and I. I even called corporate and explained the condition of that place and still refused to give me my money back for the second night. I called Expedia and they couldn't do anything about that however they did give me $50 gift card.

My recent stay at the OYO Hotel in Knoxville, TN, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I checked in, the front desk clerk was incredibly welcoming, remembering me from a previous visit which added a personal touch to my experience. His commitment to ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay was evident, and his guidance on parking was most helpful. The cleanliness and ambiance of the hotel were commendable, and the cheerful demeanor of the staff upon checkout left a lasting impression. The value for the price paid was excellent, solidifying my preference for OYO Hotels for future accommodations.

I liked absolutely nothing about it. At check in i was greeted with RUDE service and demand for a cash deposit of $200 when its usually $50 and only when i pay cash directly through them. I literally spent all i the money i had for my son to have a place to sleep tonight due to unfortunate circumstances. Regardless of that he continued talking rudely and loudly demanding deposit in cash and when i walked out to tell my husband he goes in and the guy starts telling him that people have complained on me from our last visit in dec and one guest claimed i had a foul mouth and kept offering to prostitute myself to him and he refused but was extremely uncomfortable. That never happened i never leave any place without my husband and i definitely don't do what he suggested. The man gave my family a ferret and my son a cool remote control truck. Pretty sure they had me mixed up with my sister but again not the point. Manager told my husband if he gets one complaint or hears something or sees something he don't like he's tossing my family out and having me arrested. He puts us in a room in an area mostly secluded and in back of building where the entire time we have been harrassed by people hitting our door and windows, attempted to come inside multiple times while my husband and i sat up watching our son

I was disappointed because I left some items on the bed with the intention of coming back and organizing the items and the cleaning crew threw them away. I had one more day of stay but left out to run an errand. Not sure when I would return, and wanted to make sure I had all items to get dressed, I took my suitcase. Me taking my suitcase gave them the intention that I was checking out although I did not stop by front desk and check out. When I returned to the room later, (with my suitcase), the bed was made and all of my items gone. I called front desk to say what had happened. I got a call back stating the cleaning crew said there was nothing on the bed. My biggest concern is I don't know what was thrown away, again, I was going to organize it later.

I took 2 steps into the room and left. Room had a musty odor. The bed look terrible is bowed in the middle. The Hotel was in a scary part of town. However, The attendant was nice.

The staff were extremely friendly, and for the price in Knoxville, it was a great deal. However it was definitely outdated, had a musty smell, and a little sketchy outside. Again, for the price, it was reasonable and about as expected.

My son was in Park West hospital in critical condition and we had to find a room nearby, searching on Expedia we found OYO only a half mile away. Their online room pictures looked really nice, but holy cow we were deceived, we were told to park behind the hotel to access our room, the parking lot was very sketchy and felt unsafe. Walking into the room we smelled a funky smell, the comforters on the bed had holes in them, there was a large gash in the sheetrock wall, the air conditioner had mold on the vent. I truly started to go back and ask for a refund but we had searched for rooms at other places and could not find one. During the night there was a fight outside our room, making us feel more unsafe, we would have been better off just sleeping in the hospital waiting room. The cable service on the TV was unbelievably lagging, really unwatchable. On the plus side my vehicle was not broken into during the night and the sheets looked clean.

It's close to the interstate. I had to get maintenance to get the heat/air unit to work on the first day. I had to use WD-40 to get the door to open easily. The maintenance guy had promised to come fix it, but never came back. I liked that the maid service asked if I needed service before entering.

I flew in for my daughter’s labor and needed a motel close to the hospital. The room was exactly what u pay for. It’s not priced to be like the Ritz so don’t expect it to be! Staff was very accommodating! The room served its purpose and I slept quite well! If u want the Ritz, make a reservation there! Again, u get what u pay for!
