Shores of Panama Resort

Comforters are nasty, sheets were gross. Pulled out the sofa bed, and there was a nasty crusty hand towel on the matress once it was unfolded. Wife slept in her clothes in the master bed. Beach toys left in room from previous guests. Finally found master bedroom tv remote under the bed. Bathroom fan doesn't work in master bathroom. Overall, feels like we stayed in a super 8. Would not reccomend this unit.

The dryer in our unit was not working and front desk was not answering. Other than that the unit was very spacious and great view.

This was the worse trip that we took. I’m being so honest I paid a whole lot of money for my four day stay! The problem is there was nasty thick carpet throughout the entire condo!! And it GROSSED me out!! Why would anyone put carpet down when you are on vacation dealing with nothing but sand and water!! The carpet smelled! I couldn’t even eat my food in the condo, I was literally sick to my stomach. We ended up leaving a WHOLE day earlier due to how nasty the room was! Plus the washer had some brown gunk all inside of it! Please yall im begging do not go. I’m so glad to be home. They were wrong for putting us in that room and I will be requesting a refund!! Nasty!!! And sickening!!!

This place was good for kids and the staff was friendly. The carpet in our place was kinda rough but I wasn't sweating it, that's to be expected when it's right next to the pool and beach. The sheets and towels and kitchen/bathrooms were all clean which is the main thing for me. Check-in was different than other places I've stayed but it was easy to figure out with the emails/texts from the place. Just read the info packets and you'll be fine. I did have some trouble trying to get in touch via phone initially, but I think it's because they don't have a traditional front desk and we did eventually manage to get in touch. The pool was a hit and the beach was nice, and if you like Pineapple Willy's it's right next door. There was construction happening but it didn't interfere with our stay. The pool deck is like an all day party, so if you're looking for that vibe, you'll like this place. Elevators are a wait, but we were on the ground floor so we weren't affected but did see some long lines. Something to be aware of if you're not into stairs. You're not getting a hotel room here, you're renting a condo so just prepare accordingly if you need extras of things (soap/shampoo/TP, etc.) and bring your own pool towels.
