Hotel Camburi Praia

Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough). The service is very pleasant and it's not expensive to stay there. WIFI is horribly unreliable & TV only shows local channels so come prepared with your own films pre-downloaded. I say this as I'm not sure how safe the village is at night (after 8pm) although the closest restaurants are most likely not an issue to walk to & from for dinner. The food & drinks on offer at the hotel are delicious - having both breakfast & dinner there was very enjoyable. Overall, it was a nice stay, but I would not go back to Camburi again as it's too small & far away from Sao Paulo to justify the travel again unless i needed to for work.

What a wonderful stay we had with Hotel Cambury Praia!!!! The room was clean and sufficient for our active week. We loved the attentive and friendly staff. They look out for you and we’re ready to be at your service on the hotel Grounds and @ the Praia area where the hotel umbrellas and chairs were set up for us. We think The hotel makes better food than the local restaurants we tried. We feel like we want to go back again and again! Caipirinha experts are ready to refresh you after a day at the Praia. The hotel also was super cool to exhibit their ability to throw a function by having a fully catered NYE party for the guests. It was great! A showcase experience!! They could throw your party and you will love it! Muito Obrigado, Hotel Cambury Praia!!!

Hotel bem conservado, muito próximo a praia, ótimos restaurantes a poucos metros, piscina climatizada, equipe atenciosa, atividades para entreter as crianças, mimos nas datas comemorativas (Páscoa teve chocolate para as crianças e tb no quarto; outra estadia teve comidas típicas de festa junina, e uma outra vez degustação dos petiscos do bar). Permitiram checkin atencipado uma vez que o quarto que ocuparíamos estava vazio e limpo. Dessa vez achei que o café da manhã ficou a desejar (das outras vezes o crossaint, pãozinho estavam mais apetitosos). No geral as experiências tem sido ótimas e continuaremos voltando.
