The rooms have been nicely updated. The overall stay was enjoyable. The one bit of feedback I have is the hot tub was broken, and there is an empty pizza box on top of the cabinet in our room.

I’ve stayed here before and I knew what I was paying for. A few things stood out this time that made it a little underwhelming. There were random tissues left in the room. As if someone had blew their nose and just left them on a counter that housekeeping missed. Then there was an empty can of an alcoholic beverage that was on the floor behind the bed. Again, it’s the best western, so I wasn’t expecting magic, but at least a clean room upon arrival would’ve been nice. The last complaint was that the jacuzzi wasn’t even filled with water. After a long day of boarding I really do enjoy a nice soak in the jacuzzi. We weren’t notified before or upon arrival that the jacuzzi wasn’t operating. Would have been nice to know beforehand, as that would have altered where I stayed.

Everything about check-in and the room was fine. Staff were attentive, breakfast was nice. Overall, no issues. One unfortunate issue was the hot tub was not functioning, no statement at time of reservation. Otherwise good for our short stay.

I specifically chose this hotel for location which was great and for the price it was very clean the biggest disappointment was the jacuzzi not working this was the second reason I chose this hotel was to enjoy a soak after a long day of skiing and the jacuzzi does not work and has not for over a year according to the manager this is false advertising and should be removed.

In the room: the walls were dirty and the ceiling had a weird spot on it. The tv kept wigging out, but im just assuming that was bc of the area and the reception. It was inconvenient to have only stairs as an option to get to my room. Im glad im able to do stairs bo problem but if i had my elderly grand mother with me, that wouldve sucked. Also, the breakfast was downstairs and super weird. Felt a little bit creepy, it felt like a basement. Some of the staff was nice but there were a couple that looked annoyed to be there. Other than that, yes i would stay again, bc its was a decent price and didnt have to pay a ton to be in mammoth.

The door to the room did not close you had to slam it and the safety latch to secure the door from the inside was not fasten to the door the door to the patio looked like someone kicked it in and it was repaired poorly and the stair well to the back door and the hallways were not very clean

For the price paid, it was not worth it. Room was very tiny...barely fit a king size bed. We did not have full clearance around it. Only chair in room was a broken desk chair which we reported and nothing was done. Floor sagged near entry. Bathroom was maybe 24 inches wide. Some towels were threadbare. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. There is no elevator so if you have mobility issues do not stay here. Breakfast is served below main floor so you have no way to get there. Had this been in description I would not have booked this hotel. Furnishings and walls throughout were dinged up. We will be back to Mammoth but will not stay here again.

The front desk staff in person and virtual were friendly and efficient, as well as the breakfast crew. The room was clean and spacious enough for all of our winter ski bags. I would definitely book here again.

The interior f the property is very clean and updated. Check in friendly. the room was spacious and clean. The only issue we had was very poor lighting in the room. We were told to let the hot water runfor a bit to get hot, which we did, but the shower is a dribble of water.

This was a great stay and my second time at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern and the bed is quite comfortable. The properties dated but Mammoth is an old mountain town that sees intense weather year around so for the price and location, it’s perfect. Jacuzzi, washer and drier, garage parking, and breakfast. What more could you ask for? Stay here!

The room was quiet with forest view. No noise. Nice dark room. Our room was big and I loved the floors with no carpet. Breakfast was good. The pocket door for bathroom was annoying. Never stayed open. Bathroom small but very nice. Our room had air conditioning which a lot of properties in Mammoth don't. Very happy with our stay and would stay here again.

Everything was great except the front desk gentleman who was useless. I have medical conditions which requires my insulin to be refrigerated and my cold pack to be frozen. No freezer in my room so I kindly asked the front desk gentleman to put my ice pack in the freezer as I knew they had one as they serve breakfast. He denied me any option to help get my ice pack in the freezer. This problem only exists at hotels with brain dead employees who work the front desk.

The check in process was simple a nd quick. The associate was nice but when we left the hotel, the checkout associate, specifically, DANNY, was horrific and rude. We got stuck in the garage because the driveway was frozen. She said, "didn\'t you read the little sign on the garage before you entered"? It\'s at tour own risk! If you want to borrow the shovel you have to show me your ID". She had a figure out attitude. She was too busy to help out. She said to call for a tow if I wanted to.

Upon check in sign say breakfast until 10. When we went down for breakfast at 9:40- there wasn't any food and they said too bad breakfast is over at 9:30. We said but the sign said. They answered "old sign". Just rude and cheapo

Stayed here for three nights (we left the evening of our third night). Horrible customer service! Had to fight 2 nights in a row for fresh towels. First time took an hour & the second time I was ignored completely. My husband went down & had to demand clean towels. We left that night. Unbelievably rude service. The shower door was broken & wouldn't stay closed. Mold on the exhaust fan... disgusting! Parking didn't seem secure. Breakfast was ok but definitely not BW Plus quality. Spend a little more for way better accommodations. Very disappointed in Best Western.

I compared the amenities to other hotels nearby at a similar price range and chose this one because of the microwave, fridge, and included breakfast. Room was fine, the breakfast was fantastic, with a great spread of options including do-it-yourself fresh waffles. However I was very irritated by the professionalism of one of the night staff members. 10 minutes after checking in (between 8 or 9 pm) I tried to microwave some pizza in my room and the tray didn’t spin. I asked for another one, and instead of immediately replacing it, the staff member I alerted questioned me and implied that I had broken it in front of some other guests, who walked in during the middle of our discourse. Ten minutes later, after telling me to wait, and helping the other guests check-in, the staff member finally left his desk to see if there was a microwave in the common area, and suggested that I use it instead. I emphatically refused and again requested a working microwave in my room, and the staff member followed me to my room to confirm that my microwave wasn’t spinning. Then I had to help him unplug the machine and switch it with the microwave from an unoccupied room next door.

This was a very comfortable and quiet stay. Mr. Rao, the manager, was very kind and helpful. When the heater in my room wasn’t working properly, he quickly tried to fix the unit and when that didn’t work, he put in a powerful space heater which warmed my room nicely. The buffet breakfast was very good and had something for everyone. I will definitely stay there again.

Good location to catch the shuttle bus to the mountain and I loved the underground parking garage. Staff were super nice and helpful and the rooms nice. The shower was awesome. Not to be confused with a nice, upscale hotel, but it was really good for its level.

The room were furnished nicely but the mattress was showing some age. Walls we a bit thin and could hear conversations and TVs from adjacent rooms. There is a bus stop very close to the property, so taking the bus to the lifts was very convenient. There are some restaurants within walking distance as well. I’d stay here again.

We had a great stay. Big room, comfortable beds, convenient breakfast and great location. Only downsides were we had the room closest to the lobby and the after hour phone/kiosk was very loud and woke us up. Also only one person at a time could toast their breakfast bread. Staff said they were not allowed to replace the broken toaster.

Great location, able to walk to Village or take trolley. Clean rooms, east check in and check out. Plenty of parking including underground garage.

Clean and comfortable hotel rooms. Great location with restaurants and bars nearby. Right by a bus stop to get up to the mountain. Close to the village gondola and if it snows enough you can ski back on the sidewalk ;) the covered parking came in handy when everyone else was digging out their cars.

The hotel is very close to a bus stop for the Redline to the Main Lodge, which is very convenient. We booked a room with two double beds. Somehow it was not available when we checked in. The staff at the front-desk (Rao) made a good effort to make it up. Orbitz was also helpful at resolving the issue.

Breakfast was promised at 6:30 and no one showed up to start prepping the breakfast until after 7:00. At 10:00 pm people were playing in the hallway for at least 30 minutes

The staff was excellent, very helpful and professional and the breakfast was delicious! Fresh waffles, along with eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes on the hot side, great variety of muffins, bagels, toast and cereal with fruits as well😎 It was about a two minute walk to the mountain shuttle bus (even in ski boots) and I liked the underground parking garage for keeping the car out of the weather. The hot tub was a nice bonus…However there was quite a bit of noise heard through the walls. Could be just a younger crowd during the thanksgiving break, but it became necessary for me to ask the staff to tell the guests in our hall to be mindful of noise level and language so as to avoid disturbing my kids.

Upon check in sign say breakfast until 10. When we went down for breakfast at 9:40- there wasn't any food and they said too bad breakfast is over at 9:30. We said but the sign said. They answered "old sign". Just rude and cheapo

Breakfast is good and served early so you can have an early start to your day for hiking and stuff. Staff are very helpful. We had a comfortable stay in this hotel.

I checked in after 11:00 PM which meant no person behind the counter, but rather a Kiosk with assistance from a third party, in the Philippines. It took a very long time and the person attempting to process my check in was obviously in training. After getting assistance, I finally received room keys for room 108. My daughter opened the door to find people in bed and obviously not happy to be woken up at 2 AM. We went back to the Kiosk, and the girl that helped the "girl in training" came on screen. I explained my frustration with waking people and that our room was occupied. She then wanted to go through the ID verification process again.. Mind you she just assisted for several minutes not five minutes prior. My photo ID was on file.. She blamed the situation on the front desk personnel, that went home at 11:00 PM. She then issued me room 216 and keys were dispensed. I notified the front desk at check out the following morning and the girl laughed. She said that the other party had also informed her of what happened. Following that, I went down stairs around 8:30 AM, to "breakfast", and the sausage and eggs were barely warm. I tried to eat while staff stood and talked in spanish, very loudly, nonstop for at least ten minutes straight, disrupting the entire room. Another customer made a comment to me while getting OJ. -"shouldn't she be doing something, like bringing out hot food?" I wasn't the only one displeased with the experience at this location.. Should've been comped.
