The one bed apartment was excellent, lovely balcony and lovely view. Shower was a bit tricky up a couple of steps into jacuzzi bath. Would have been nice to have been nice to have some food/drink amenities on site, but Airlie beach was only 10-15 min walk away. The only issue is the extremely steep driveway up to reception. Bit of a hard slog dragging a 23kg case up! Some taxis would drive up the slope, so not an issue when coming back from having a meal .

It is a nice apartment. Lovely Ladies at reception, young guy need to learn from them. Heated pool & ocean view are wonderful. Highly recommend. Will come back again.

We stayed at the Sebel and overall had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the lift was out of service on the day we arrived, and with no alternative access available, we had to carry all our luggage up the fire escape stairs, which was a bit of a challenge. That aside, the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities were well-maintained, and the location was great.

It wasn't a serviced apartment but the detergents for dishwashing and clothes washing had half empty satchels. The staff were more than helpful to supply more. The dryer was very dusty in the vents. The view was amazing and everything about it was comfortable. The Staff were extremely helpful. Some parking spots were very tight and a very steep driveway. Amenities are getting aged, no USB plugs on the PowerPoints.

While it was comfortable and clean, it lacked soul. There was only ever a receptionist, who was helpful. The other staff were tradies or cleaners. There was no vending machine, bar or cafe on site. Look, it wasn't bad, just soulless.

We had a great stay and the apartment we had ( which had an amazingly sea view) was perfect for our needs. We had a small issue with our balcony and the problem was fixed within an hour which shows fabulous service from the staff. The reception staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The pool area and gym was also excellent.

The rooms were much more dated than the pictures. We also found that the sheets were a little stained and just the edges of the rooms or doorways a bit rusty and dusty. Our shower also leaked so we had to have towels down to stop this. They also don’t come round daily to change towels/beds etc unless requested. In addition the wifi was awful. We were on floor 5 so unsure if this was the reason but in 2025 we should have working wifi…

Property is not what it looks like online. The room was dirty and smelt musky. The spa also didn't work in our room, and it quite unsafe to even get into. The view consisted of the back of the car park of the hotel in front. Staff were lovely and pleasant on all interactions, they were extremely accommodating.

The location is walking distance to the Airlie port. But, it is 20 minutes walking to the center of the town to have more choices for restaurants and grocery store. The nearby Thai restaurant is expensive and dishes are not great but eatable. The hotel is very dated. The room smells muddy. The room we were staying was awful. All the cups and utensils were dusty. Room was not dusted well. Washer was moldy and smelling. I used my own alcohol wipes to clean the gasket. The first two sheets came out black. I reported to the front desk. They sent people to clean the washer but didn’t do anything to the cups and utensils nor bringing the extra towel set as they missed. We have two people in the room but they only put one set. It seems that they don’t care.

The reception team were amazing on arrival and later in the week after a incident causing my Dad to have a fall. 100%. My only negative is the general cleanliness of the rooms were fine, but the attention to detail is lacking. Not sure if this comes down to upper management not allocating appropriate time frames for more thorough cleaning. Skirting boards were thick with dust and doors. Light fittings needed a deep clean even in the penthouse suite about the sink in main bedroom. The sink plug in kitchen didn't seal. Cutting boards were in need of replacement. The painted handrail at the bottom of the stairs was really dirty not been wiped down between guests. All these minor details can make or break a review. Would I stay again Yes without elderly parents, as were were unaware of steep access to the property and if the attention to cleaning details and final touches were dramatically improved. A very big Thank You to the reception and maintenance team. Your support for my Dad was amazing. Joanne This review is for the Sebel only not advertising purposes.

We had a lovely stay at The Sebel Airlie Beach. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful ocean view. The girls at check-in were so friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Be prepared for a bit of a hill when getting suitcases up and down, but it’s not a huge issue — and the location is great, only about a 10-minute walk to town. There aren’t too many food options immediately nearby, but town and the marina (perfect for day trips) are both very close. Some areas, like the hallway to the room and parts of the bathroom, felt a little outdated, and it wasn’t the cleanest entrance outside the room, but overall it’s hard to fault much, especially for the price. A great value stay with lovely staff and a beautiful view!

The location and ocean view was very enjoyable. However, our one bedroom suite smelled extremely strongly of mildew/ mould. I alerted hotel administrators and requested a room change however the hotel only offered an ozone air purifier, which are not healthy and do not address the actual cause. When I stated I wasn’t comfortable with the ozone machine the hotel did not respond or offer any other resolution. Also note, that all the floors are tile so noise transfer from rooms above and beside is strong.

The entire hotel as a whole appeared to be decent. However, once we reached the room, it was noticeable immediately that the rooms are not maintained well. For example, the furniture is old, the baseboards are not washed, the bathroom vent was not cleaned well, the shower was rusty and many other noticeable areas that require improvement. This property is overrated and did not appear as how it was advertised on expedia. Furthermore, the A/C unit was not working properly and unfortunately, it was etremely difficult to report this to front staff as they were not around after 7pm. With the room itself, it was disappointing - the room did not meet the images used for marketing on expedia.

The room we had was not suitable for older people. The shower was set up inside the spa bath and it wasn’t easy to get in and out of the bath. We felt a bit unsafe.

Lejligheden var ældre og slidt. Wifi fungerede dårligt. Strøm stik ved sengen fungerede ikke. Håndklædeholder i badeværelset faldt ned. Lejligheden trængte gevaldigt til en kærlig hånd. Snakkede med receptionen hver dag, men der var intet de kunne gøre for at hjælpe alle 4 dage vi var der.

Overall had a great stay, excellent location just outside of the main town, but across from the port. Only issue we had was on our final day when we had a member of staff barge into our room unannounced whilst i was in the shower. No knock at the door or any warning they were coming in. When checking out i raised this concern with the gentleman at the reception desk and all he seemed concerned with was that i was going to leave a negative review. I get it that mistakes happen, but when they do own them and don't give excuses that the staff member was newly hired etc. Its your responsibility to train your staff and make sure they understand issues around guests privacy. Overall was a great stay but this left a sour taste in my mouth

When checking out i raised this concern with the gentleman at the reception desk and all he seemed concerned with was that i was going to leave a negative review. I get it that mistakes happen, but when they do own them and don't give excuses that the staff member was newly hired etc. Its your responsibility to train your staff and make sure they understand issues around guests privacy. Overall was a great stay but this left a sour taste in my mouth

Staff were amazing. So friendly and accommodating. The only issue was a smell coming from drains on last day, but the cleaning staff dealt with it straight away. And also the driveway to get out was steep, makes it hard as tour/transfer buses cannot access. But would definitely stay again

Comfortable, quiet and clean accommodation set high for beautiful views but still within walking distance of the port, shops & dining areas. Lauti on reception was very friendly and took very good care of us with excellent recommendations during our stay. Thank you to Lauti and the Team for making our visit to Airlie so relaxing and fun!

Our family enjoyed our 3 night stay in a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment. It was clean, airy and bright, and had everything we needed including a kitchen and washing machine and dryer. Our room also had direct access to the heated pool. Upon booking, there was excellent communication provided by reception including quick confirmation of our stay, followed by informative messages regarding airport transfers, upgrades available and food options in Airlie Beach. The entire hotel as a whole appeared to be decent. However, once we reached the room, it was noticeable immediately that the rooms are not maintained well. For example, the furniture is old, the baseboards are not washed, the bathroom vent was not cleaned well, the shower was rusty and many other noticeable areas that require improvement. This property is overrated and did not appear as how it was advertised on expedia. Furthermore, the A/C unit was not working properly and unfortunately, it was etremely difficult to report this to front staff as they were not around after 7pm. With the room itself, it was disappointing - the room did not meet the images used for marketing on expedia.

Lovely fresh and clean room. Easy to organize late checkout with reception. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Only thing we encountered was doors repeatedly slamming on our last morning at 8 am every 30 seconds or so (seemed like someone was checking every room?) and on our last day housekeeping opened our door and called out housekeeping without knocking first which was alarming as we were just about to leave the bedroom in towels ready for a shower! Otherwise apart from those two minor things we had a lovely stay.

The reception team were amazing on arrival and later in the week after a incident causing my Dad to have a fall. 100%. My only negative is the general cleanliness of the rooms were fine, but the attention to detail is lacking. Not sure if this comes down to upper management not allocating appropriate time frames for more thorough cleaning. Skirting boards were thick with dust and doors. We had a great stay and the apartment we had ( which had an amazingly sea view) was perfect for our needs. We had a small issue with our balcony and the problem was fixed within an hour which shows fabulous service from the staff. The reception staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The pool area and gym was also excellent.

We had a 5 night stay at the Sebel for a couples getaway. The room was nice and clean but don’t expect anything more than that. If you ask for more towels they will say you have a washing machine in your room. There’s no shops in the immediate distance so stock up on water and snacks befire you get there. The gym was great, the pool was clean and plenty of room to sun bake and swim especially whilst everyone is out for the day on the islands. Nice and peaceful! You can catch a taxi into the main strip and only some taxis return you up the steep driveway (always ask them to do so). The 10-15 min walk along the marina into the main strip is lovely on your way to dinner with the cool breeze and sunset… during the day it’s hot so spf up a treat on that!! All in all we will return.

Fantastic view from the hotel to the ocean and rooms are very quiet. Good location with a short walk to marina, bus stops, 10 minutes walk to shops, cafe, restaurants and Woolies. Walking along the Boathouse path into town would be safer and relaxing than along the Shute harbour road.

SIGNAGE FOR ACCESS TO RECEPTION WAS INADEQUATE/OBSCURED FROM VIEW. We were unable to raise reception on phone, and had no idea where drive in access to reception was. We were forced to walk up about 50 steep steps, with very bad knees. Never again.

Everything was good except that you would have to walk up a steep hill and a steep driveway with all your bags and luggages. The bed was great for good night sleeps, location is about 10min walk into town. View is beautiful. You'll you have to get your groceries from downtown and walk it back or take the bus back.

The one bed apartment was excellent, lovely balcony and lovely view. Shower was a bit tricky up a couple of steps into jacuzzi bath. Would have been nice to have been nice to have some food/drink amenities on site, but Airlie beach was only 10-15 min walk away. The only issue is the extremely steep driveway up to reception. Bit of a hard slog dragging a 23kg case up! Some taxis would drive up the slope, so not an issue when coming back from having a meal .

Price was great, unit itself was a great setup, the walls could do with a fresh paint, the lounge was also a little past it's expiry date. Location from shop's and main part of town was a short 10 minute walk. A great Thai restaurant next door.

The location is walking distance to the Airlie port. But, it is 20 minutes walking to the center of the town to have more choices for restaurants and grocery store. The nearby Thai restaurant is expensive and dishes are not great but eatable. The hotel is very dated. The room smells muddy. The room we were staying was awful. All the cups and utensils were dusty. Room was not dusted well. Washer was moldy and smelling. I used my own alcohol wipes to clean the gasket. The first two sheets came out black. I reported to the front desk. They sent people to clean the washer but didn’t do anything to the cups and utensils nor bringing the extra towel set as they missed. We have two people in the room but they only put one set. It seems that they don’t care.

Reasonable distance from town to walk, but the driveway was very steep. To the point some taxis didnt come up the drive. We were supposed to get soft drinks in the mini bar but non were provided, and it was odd no tissues were provided. Finally the pool is quite cool, to the point no one spent much time in the water.

The accommodation is looking old, furniture needs and update. The bathroom space is awkward and dangerous entry and exit in shower bath. There was no shower gel, empty, and when I requested the house keepers to replace/refill. NOT DONE.... I wouldn't stay there again, very disappointed as part of the Sebel brand

Avgift för sen utcheckning: AUD 50 (endast i mån av tillgång)
Spjälsäng (babysäng): AUD 10.0 per natt
För kreditkortsbetalningar tillkommer en avgift på 1.4 procent
