JB City Shopping Mall Apartment

We booked this place based on it great location and convenience above the KSL mall. The room was maintained well in terms of the cleanliness and providing necessary amenities (fridge, microwave, kettle, water filter, washing machine, tv, towels, toiletries..). However, 1) the water pipe for block B burst in the early morning and we had no water from all the taps including toilet, so we had to reach out to the property team and they responded quite fast but were not able to give solutions (had to propose solutions to them). they had someone over to bring us up 1 time to another unit that is undergoing housekeeping for us to only wash up/ shower/ use the toilet before coming back down to our malfunctioning unit. 2) the lifts to the apartments were small and slow. we often have to wait more than 5mins to go up or down squeezing with many others in the lift that is very humid. on our last check out day, we waited almost 20mins so in the end we walked down 27 floors to get out by stairs. 3) fall hazards -the bathtubs are a bit wobbly to get into and there is no shower curtains. 4) Pillows were old and not the most comfortable but for short stay can make do. Would not consider booking this place again due to the bad conditions, would consider another newer development just 3mins walk away.

Hotel only informed about lifts being out of order on the day of check in (after check in time). Lied about providing a refund if we were to cancel and completely stopped responding to emails/messages when we tried to ask for the refund that was promised.

Wifi is fast. Convenient to get food
