Once the tribulations of accessing the hotel/room were over, I was pleased with the room’s cleanliness. Not having a manned Reception, however, is not value for money, especially if you are a solo traveller who has been driving for several hours. Sadly, too, my first evening was ruined by 2 coachloads of teens who ran noisily along the corridor outside my room, disturbing the peace and quiet. This lasted for a couple of hours, which I find reprehensible. More than likely, these teens paid less for their rooms than I did. Thankfully, they left quietly the next morning, which is a plus. Buying breakfast from a machine isn’t suitable to me - it would have been better to direct customers to the other B and B hotels on the same site. Parking was ideal - having so many police vehicles onsite was excellent, security-wise.
