The very best hotel experience ever. We loved the staff. The room was fantastic. The dinners were 5 star. The pool and spa were modern and beautiful, and the grounds around the hotel were like a dream. Bravo!

The hotel and grounds are stunning. Spa (pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna) are really nice and well maintained. Super dog friendly (a few rooms). What really sets this hotel apart are the staff. Everyone we met from check in to check out were really friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. This includes all restaurant staff.

My wife and I recently stayed at Ettington Park Hotel, using it as a base to explore the Cotswolds, and had a wonderful experience. Dining in the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight. The service was excellent, and the food was exceptional, with reasonable prices. The restaurant could benefit from better air circulation, as it was quite warm during our meal. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. When we expressed interest in the building's history, they offered us a private tour and provided detailed information about the property, which added a personal touch to our stay. The cocktails were outstanding—the best we’ve had at any hotel. The pool area was also enjoyable, with a hot tub and hot rooms that we had mostly to ourselves. However, guests should note that there are two small flights of stairs to access the pool. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had beautiful views of the countryside. While the decor was a bit sparse for a superior room, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The air conditioning struggled a bit on a warm day, and the room could get stuffy due to limited window opening and no fan. Overall, Ettington Park Hotel offers a charming stay with excellent service, though a few minor improvements could make it even better. We would highly recommend it to others.

Positives. Staff were very good. Very clean. Spa and pool area was small but excellent. Negatives. No atmosphere in the lounge (cocktail was very good though). Breakfast while the food was excellent the experience was let down by slow / sloppy service. Overall very good but could easily have been better.

As usual an amazing stay at the Ettington. This is our second mini break here and we will definitely be returning again. It’s like visiting an old friend. All the staff are amazing and do friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Amazing rooms looking out over the magnificent grounds . Beautiful architecture throughout the amazing building with outstanding feature pieces. It’s lovely to be able to relax in our room and have a delicious breakfast brought to you. Angela and Becky were amazing catering to our every requirement. Tracey helped make the amazing bees knees cocktails which I highly recommend and we were able to relax in the lounge after a long day sightseeing around the various quaint villages and shops. Georgia and Patricia in reception were extremely helpful and professional. The Consierge Flat was always so pleasant even when working late into the night , he always had time to chat and had was extremely friendly. Jai in the breakfast room always had a great sense of humour. A stay at the Ettington isn’t complete until you have used their spotlessly clean swimming pool and used the spa. Tasha the beauty therapist is so professional and I can highly recommend the facial and massage. The best I’ve had. I cannot fault the hotel and their facilities. The staff are all totally amazing and so friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough. We will be returning again soon for our third stay.

From parking to being greeted at reception to being taken to our room we couldn’t have felt more welcome. We had room service for lunch and dinner in the main restaurant and the vegetarian and vegan options on both menus were superb. The spa was amazing and the family rooms with two floors were just perfect. The grounds in the Autumn time were stunning. I imagine a stay here at any time of year would be just as magical. Thank you for making our stay so special

Everything good - staff very attentive on check in. However evening time - we weren’t 100% sure where we could sit to have a drink in the bar. The library room was in darkness, there was a party going on in a neighbouring room, and also the dining room. We ended up sitting in a large empty room with nobody else in it as we didn’t know where else to sit. The pool are was mildly disappointing - only one bed available and I had to hunt around for towels, and there was nobody around to ask. With the amount of people staying at the hotel it would seem to make more sense to have more beds? My partner was having a massage, but not sure where we were both going to sit if they’d joined me at the pool, so we ended up going back to our room. I specifically booked your hotel because you offered spa facilities, but the lack of beds did disappoint me. However the hotel itself was stunning, along with the grounds and of course the history. We were unaware of the ghost stories, which we had to research- that would’ve been an interesting fact to have known before our stay. We would’ve eaten in the dining room but found the menu to be limited and mildly disappointing for choice - it seemed a lot of the food listed I could’ve found in one of the pubs locally. I would’ve expected food to represent the location and standard of hotel? The reception staff pointed out we could’ve asked the kitchen to specially prepare something, but sometimes you don’t want to have to go to that trouble.

We had a wonderful two days here using it as a base for sightseeing in Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Victorian Garden Suite which is worth the extra cost with fabulous views of the gardens and grounds. Service was first class. We had breakfast and evening meals both days. Food was good, some of it outstanding.

The customer service and the setting here is amazing. But if you want a family room they’re dated and in need of refurbishment. If you get a regular double towards the back of the property they’re much better

Beautiful property, lovely grounds and attentive staff. The reception area was awkwardly placed and cramped. As we’re checking in, the woman in front of us is having issues with her credit card and I felt like we’re all just standing there witnessing it because there’s little room to separate us. Additionally, servers with food are crossing back and forth through the area which I thought a touch odd. The Family room was very spacious. I loved the upstairs downstairs separation for the kids and parents, but the stairs and floor were very creaky and would wake everybody up anytime somebody had to use the bathroom. Overall, I think this was a lovely spot to stay at and would include in my itinerary in the future.

Positives. Staff were very good. Very clean. Spa and pool area was small but excellent. Negatives. No atmosphere in the lounge (cocktail was very good though). Breakfast while the food was excellent the experience was let down by slow / sloppy service. Overall very good but could easily have been better.

Just back from a wonderful two night stay. The hotel and its history is awe inspiring and it’s in such a magnificent setting. However it is the staff that really make this hotel truly amazing. They are all so friendly and really can’t do enough for you. Two stand outs for us were Alex and Frazer - thank you for making our stay so special!

Everything good - staff very attentive on check in. However evening time - we weren’t 100% sure where we could sit to have a drink in the bar. The library room was in darkness, there was a party going on in a neighbouring room, and also the dining room. We ended up sitting in a large empty room with nobody else in it as we didn’t know where else to sit. The pool are was mildly disappointing - only one bed available and I had to hunt around for towels, and there was nobody around to ask. With the amount of people staying at the hotel it would seem to make more sense to have more beds? My partner was having a massage, but not sure where we were both going to sit if they’d joined me at the pool, so we ended up going back to our room. I specifically booked your hotel because you offered spa facilities, but the lack of beds did disappoint me. However the hotel itself was stunning, along with the grounds and of course the history. We were unaware of the ghost stories, which we had to research- that would’ve been an interesting fact to have known before our stay. We would’ve eaten in the dining room but found the menu to be limited and mildly disappointing for choice - it seemed a lot of the food listed I could’ve found in one of the pubs locally. I would’ve expected food to represent the location and standard of hotel? The reception staff pointed out we could’ve asked the kitchen to specially prepare something, but sometimes you don’t want to have to go to that trouble.

We had a wonderful two days here using it as a base for sightseeing in Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Victorian Garden Suite which is worth the extra cost with fabulous views of the gardens and grounds. Service was first class. We had breakfast and evening meals both days. Food was good, some of it outstanding.

My wife and I recently stayed at Ettington Park Hotel, using it as a base to explore the Cotswolds, and had a wonderful experience. Dining in the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight. The service was excellent, and the food was exceptional, with reasonable prices. The restaurant could benefit from better air circulation, as it was quite warm during our meal. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. When we expressed interest in the building's history, they offered us a private tour and provided detailed information about the property, which added a personal touch to our stay. The cocktails were outstanding—the best we’ve had at any hotel. The pool area was also enjoyable, with a hot tub and hot rooms that we had mostly to ourselves. However, guests should note that there are two small flights of stairs to access the pool. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had beautiful views of the countryside. While the decor was a bit sparse for a superior room, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Highlight of our trip to England. Everything was just amazing, staff were so friendly, breakfast buffet was great, history of the building and surrounds was so interesting and we loved walking around the grounds. Close to Stratford-upon-Avon and a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

A peaceful, luxurious stay to celebrate my mums 70th birthday. The staff looked after us so well and the food was delicious. The location is perfect for exploring Stratford Upon Avon, the Cotswolds and plenty of National Trusts in the area. The room was so comfy and the grounds are stunning

Outstanding customer service throughout, incredible grounds and architecture. Hotel was beautiful inside. Room rate did not match the quality of room, so we upgraded. Guess the rate was in driven by the building. Evening meal was good. Breakfast was very poor with over cooked meat and poor attention to deatil.

While the hotel itself was outstanding and the grounds were stunning, there were some disappointments during our stay. Despite requesting twin beds at the time of booking, my 90-year-old mother and aunt, along with my brother, were given a double bed. It took nearly an hour for us to be moved to the correct room. The food was also subpar, as we paid £25 for a handburger and chips that were overcooked and dry. At breakfast, we had to ask for toast multiple times and still did not receive it. When we finally got the toast the following day, it was only toasted on one side.
While the hotel itself was outstanding and the grounds were stunning, there were some disappointments during our stay. Despite requesting twin beds at the time of booking, my 90-year-old mother and aunt, along with my brother, were given a double bed. It took nearly an hour for us to be moved to the correct room. The food was also subpar, as we paid £25 for a handburger and chips that were overcooked and dry. At breakfast, we had to ask for toast multiple times and still did not receive it. When we finally got the toast the following day, it was only toasted on one side.

The staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was tired with chipped furniture, threadbare carpets and torn curtains. The bathroom was also tired, still having to climb into the bath for a shower. No toiletries only full tubes secured to the walls which could be filled with anything! Air conditioning poor especially in this hot weather. Could really do with an update especially when charging >£500 a night for 2 people. We had a meal in the evening which was average.

The hotel was everything I expected and more. I can’t fault anything, the staff were superb and the hotel was magnificent. Can’t wait to go back.
