Remota Patagonia Lodge

Un hotel fantástico diseñado para provocar la interacción entre los huéspedes en unos espacios comunes muy acogedores y con unas vistas únicas. El complemento perfecto para un viaje de ensueño a la Patagonia.

There are a lot of good things about Remota. The rooms are beautifully designed and thought about. Some reviews mention staff not being friendly, but everyone I met was really helpful. The communal spaces are great for lounging around. The food was tasty and the bar is very good. There are things I would like to see improved: - Places to refill water bottles without having to ask the kitchen - Better advertising of snacks and drinks being available from the bar outside of meal times - The pool needs a shoe area before people come in, so outdoor shoes aren't being worn round the pool itself. - A wifi booster so that wifi works in all rooms. There are a couple of issues I had. The website advertises airport transfers from Punta, but when I tried to book I was told it is only during the day and I was on my own. The website also advertises excursions, but again when I actually went to book I was told these are only for guests on the packages. This wasn't an issue because there are lots of tours available locally, but it wasn't what I expected from the website. So I think the website should be updated to make these things clear. The pool is really nice but was only actually working properly for two of my five days - the others there was unspecified 'maintenance' which meant it was cold and not full to the top as it should have been. This should be advertised better at reception (or ideally avoided!). I would stay again if some of these things are improved!

Very courteous staff. Excellent food with excellent service in restaurant. Room spotless and clean and room service excellent. Front office staff also excellently courteous and helpful. Loved the native artifacts and the natural wood interiors. This is much more peaceful and beautiful than “modern” concrete, steel and plastics. Spa also excellent with superb pool and very clean hot tub. We plan to return soon!

Viaje sola x una semana, lo pasé increíble, las instalaciones de 1era, la arquitectura hermosa, con exposición de diferentes artefactos antiguos precolombinos y de la zona.todo insertado en el ambiente. Comida exquisita, destacó al barman Rodolfo con los mejores tragos!!. Realicé todas las excursiones con el hotel " lo recomiendo 200% en transportes del mismo hotel. Jacuzzi y piscina techada impecable . Te pasaban bicicletas para conocer la ciudad. Regsloneada a más no poder. Lo unico que no tenían pantunflas ni batas. Muchas graciasssss

Todo bien, solo mejorar temperatura de spa , piscina, y acceso mas protegido del frio a ese sector.

The hotel is impressive! -one of those rare occasions when you get what it says in the tin!! The building is impressive, the spaces are well-lit, comfortable, facilities are good, staff is super-helpful, the food is amazing, the rooms are spacious. The views are great, short walking distance into town; and you are the doorstep of Torres del Paine!

Enjoyed the spa and outdoor hot tub! Great views Dante and Daniel at reception were very helpful and friendly.

Hot tub was not working.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. We had to wait for more than 3 hours before we could check-in because the check-in time is only at 3pm. The staff didn't seem to care. Usually, hotels try to help with early check-ins and because the hotel was almost empty, but this was not the case. I cannot recommend this hotel. Also this hotel has no wifi in the room, sauna was cold, there are no usb chargers or US electric outlets - it was impossible to charge phone or my laptop.

Don't hesitate. Just book. We LOVED our stay at the Remota. The staff is universally lovely (shout out to Fran in the restaurant). Food is solid (try the lamb shank and the pears in wine dessert). Craft cocktails are strong. The hotel is located close to Puerto Natales (ubers are relatively abundant)-- you can also walk if you like. We got an excellent inexpensive massage which helped us overcome a strenous hike in Torres Del Paine. Make sure to book the jacuzzi as soon as you check in because its popular. The heated infinity pool with views of distant Patagonian peaks is also excellent. Throughout our stay, we remained entranced by the unique design of the hotel and how well it blended in with the Patagonian landscape.

Staff are very professional and pleasant to work with. Room was spacious and clean. Food was good as was the service in the restaurant. Would stay here again.

Wifi no llega a habitaciones. Desayuno sin agua, leche, fruta, jugo... No reponen nada. Y si lo pides, ponen todo tipo de pegas. Las mesas sin limpiar de un cliente a otro. Servicio de bar pésimo. Sin amenities. Muy caro

Clean, but a bit spartan rooms. Restaurant staff were very nice!

Buena infraestructura, limpieza, SPA y lugares comunes. El Staff dejó mucho que desear, muy poco colaborativo, poca amabilidad, sin entrega de soluciones. Adicionalmente no recibimos los beneficios por ser Silver que venían en la confirmación de reserva como botellas de cortesía, etc. Staff cero relacionado con la entrega de estos beneficios. Adicionalmente no entregaban las cortesías propias del hotel y ponían en duda si es que correspondía hacerlo.

Beautiful architecture and contemporary artistic style in the interiors. A pleasure to walk through. Spacious room with good views.

In a hotel that charges this amount, there should be a minibar in the room!

Eco-tourism is great in theory until you realize there are cheap radiators that make loud banging noises the entire night. I slept 4-5 hours on average here because of these noises and the fact that tours start around 5-6am. I asked the hotel to fix the problem on the first night and no one came. The next night I complained and someone came but didn’t actually fix anything/know how to fix the problem. I was told I’d be given some sort of compensation for the inconvenience but that was just lip service as then management refused to be helpful. This is not a luxurious experience.

Inconsistency of wi-fi was a disappointment. Couldn’t even access it in some parts of the hotel.

The location is beautiful, situated across from water and mountains. The hotel experience was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were spacious with a nice lodge atmosphere. The weekend menu and service were impeccable. However, the weekday evening buffet offered the same food every night without any option to order from the menu. The other drawback was the internet, which did not work in my room, and was not very good even in the lounge area and restaurant. My experience was otherwise very good.

Spectacular design(exterior and interior), room is spacious. Amazing view of the lake/fjord with mountain at its background. Downtown is just 3km away from hotel, can easily access by Uber or Taxi. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

This is a little out of town but walkable with stunning views of the mountains across the fjord, a great restaurant and and unique decor. Our room was spacious with a soaking tub and lobby areas with windows looking out at amazing scenery.

Service was disappointing. There was no one at the checkin desk at night and the luggage were not moved into the room as promised. Not coming back and do not reconmend.

We enjoyed our week stay at Remota. The employees were kind and helpful. The restaurant on site was great, including the breakfast buffet. We liked that it was slightly out of town, an uber or taxi was only 2-5 USD to get to town if you didn't feel like walking. We would recommend this stay.

I really enjoyed this charming hotel with beautiful contemporary architecture. The front desk helped us find a store downtown to purchase luggage

So unhelpful. Front desk did not give a crap or even tried to help. Place unbelievably expensive!!!

Fantastic views. Great Christmas dinner and they helped out at the last minute when our Torre Del Paine your got cancelled. We will forever be grateful for their help because our entire trip was planned without much room for cancellation or delays. The Remota hotel was absolutely gorgeous and and the views are stunning. The staff is exceptional. Rooms are spacious, modern and offer comforts of home such as robes, slippers and a tub to soak after a long hike in Patagonia. The breakfast included has a variety of American and Chilean options. They even had oatmilk! I highly recommend staying here if you are using this as your base hotel for day trips to Patagonia. The only thing is location, it’s on the outskirts of downtown Puerto Natales. Getting a taxi from the hotel is easy it’s getting one back that was a bit challenging.

Schönes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, fantastisches Essen. Einzig an einem Abend gab es Buffet, da war das Essen etwas kalt. Und im Zimmer hat man kein WLAN, aber wir hatten Handy Empfang. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
