Exceptional. I’ve stayed all over the World. This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was very quiet- despite being very busy. Would highly recommend. Great parking- quick walk to City underground train.

Ein sehr schönes kleines Hotel an hervorragender Lage direkt neben der Theresienwiese. Es ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. In der Tiefgarage gibt es Ladestationen für E-Autos zu einem sehr fairen Preis von 38Cent/KWh (Stand 9. Dezember 2023). Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Brezeln am Frühstücksbuffet sind eine Beleidigung für bayrische Brezeln. Die sind gerade mal halb so gross wie meine Hand und dadurch so hart, dass sie eher an die kleinen Salzbrezeln als an richtige bayrische Brezeln erinnern.

The hotel is very nice, very clean and the staff is very friendly. A parking garage is right underneath the hotel. It is a bit further away from the old city (right next to Theresienwiese so perfect for Oktoberfest), but the old city is reachable on foot or by a short taxi ride. We stayed here to attend Oktoberfest and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire property was incredibly clean & secure, the staff was friendly & helpful, and the restaurant & bar on site was wonderful. Not to mention, it’s directly across the street from one of the entrances to Oktoberfest, which was incredibly convenient for us. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel for your stay in Munich.

Finished to a high standard, this hotel is excellent for families. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a lovley garden where you can eat breakfast or relax at the end of a busy day. It's located just outside the city centre, which means it is quit and peaceful but there is a metro station about 400m from the property that means you're only a couple of stops from the hustle and bustle of Munich. The hotel is right next door to the Transport Museum, which is well worth a visit.

Estaba todo muy limpio y el hotel está muy nuevo, la insonorización y la climatización eran lo mejor. En cuanto al personal, percibimos grandes diferencias en el trato entre unos miembros del staff y otros. Algún camarero en el desayuno tuvo gestos bruscos y maleducados. Otros, muy profesionales y encantadores. Como sugerencia, en las cenas había una carta reducida de lunes a miércoles y otra más amplia de jueves a domingo. Nos hubiera encantado que todos los días estuviera la carta ampliada.

The room was awesome. The staff was amazing. The restaurant was delicious. The hotel was directly across the street from the Tollwood Christmas market. The U-Bahn (subway) was a two-minute walk from the hotel. You can get almost everywhere in the city in 30 minutes or less. However, the room was swelteringly hot. The thermostat would run on cool, but not long enough to cool the room off. If you opened the window (which would only crack open a couple inches), the heat ran to keep the room up to temperature. Add that to pillows that shouldn’t legally be allowed to be called pillows, and you have the makings of a very rough visit. We stayed for three nights and none of my family slept through the night on any of them. I’ve been told that this is a German hotel thing, so I recommend bringing a fan or buying one when you get there.

I would really love to give this hotel a 5 star review, there is so much going for it. It’s modern, it’s clean, the rooms are spacious, it’s on a good location and the staff are super friendly however as a hotel that is marketed as family friends it is missing some key fundamental things. There are no fridges in the rooms, for any family with small children this is a must. There is no easy access to cold water without constantly asking or buying bottled water. The breakfast buffet doesn’t have any small children friendly foods, glasses, crockery or cutlery. The highchairs are the wooden style which are horrible and dangerous for babies (6months - 1year). The ‘toys’ available in the rooms were not age appropriate for my children, 7months and 3years. If you are going to claim to be family friendly you have to cover all the basics. I felt a little let down on the family friendly front.

Kids really loved the 6-pod room. Hotel was clean and comfortable, and had a really nice breakfast. We stayed in 6 hotels during 3 weeks in England, France, and Germany and this was the best one.

Trevligt och rent hotell. Familj på fem personer som bodde i ett 6-bäddsrum vilket var rymligt och fint med dubbla duschar och mycket yta. Trevlig personal och bra frukost samt ligger i ett bra område med tunnelbana ca 7 min bort.

Everything you need to rest for 1 night: location, staff, cleanliness, restaurant-bar-garden atmospheres were pretty good with great, positive energy. Front desk personnel was very nice, and restaurant staff were lovely at breakfast time. My wife and me had no single negative comment to make... everything was excellent!!!

Excellent hotel just slightly out of old town. Everything is within walking distance. Staff had been friendly and helpful with check in and all other requests. Breakfast is fresh and selection was great.

I was looking forward to staying here after a 12 hour flight from Los Angeles. The hotel is modern, clean, architectural and stylish. Next to a park and a fabulous car museum. However a large, rowdy, noisy group of teenage students were allowed by management to run wild throughout the halls, slamming doors, screaming, and pounding on floors. We had two horrible sleepless nights here and the management did a poor job of addressing our concerns. We did enjoy the good breakfast buffet but we were so tired and irritated. Augustin Hotel must prioritize the comforts and quiet of guests to earn a high rating. After all you stay in a hotel to sleep and if you pay $150 or so a night you shouldn’t have to beg management to stop misbehaving and rude people from destroying the calm and peace of nighttime rest.

We had two horrible sleepless nights here and the management did a poor job of addressing our concerns. We did enjoy the good breakfast buffet but we were so tired and irritated. Augustin Hotel must prioritize the comforts and quiet of guests to earn a high rating. After all you stay in a hotel to sleep and if you pay $150 or so a night you shouldn’t have to beg management to stop misbehaving and rude people from destroying the calm and peace of nighttime rest.

We stayed here to attend Oktoberfest and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire property was incredibly clean & secure, the staff was friendly & helpful, and the restaurant & bar on site was wonderful. Not to mention, it’s directly across the street from one of the entrances to Oktoberfest, which was incredibly convenient for us. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel for your stay in Munich.

Estaba todo muy limpio y el hotel está muy nuevo, la insonorización y la climatización eran lo mejor. En cuanto al personal, percibimos grandes diferencias en el trato entre unos miembros del staff y otros. Algún camarero en el desayuno tuvo gestos bruscos y maleducados. Otros, muy profesionales y encantadores. Como sugerencia, en las cenas había una carta reducida de lunes a miércoles y otra más amplia de jueves a domingo. Nos hubiera encantado que todos los días estuviera la carta ampliada.

Really nice room (famil room, 31 sqm), fully ok for a family of four - but not much space to move around so opt for a bigger if you need some space. Breakfast ok, variety of bread should be better and the coffee was horribly bland. Surroundigs surprisingly great, excellent museum and biergarten few steps from the hotel. And asking guests for a deposit of €50 was a bit surprising, I haven't seen that in a while. And of course there was problems checking out when the deposit was refunded, and the (superfriendly!) cashier wasn't able to do it.

The only and I do mean only downside was that it was about a 20 min walk from the train station. Otherwise super fun and very nice and friendly staff. Would I stay there again, absolutely and just factor in a few uber rides to the stay.

Finished to a high standard, this hotel is excellent for families. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a lovley garden where you can eat breakfast or relax at the end of a busy day. It's located just outside the city centre, which means it is quit and peaceful but there is a metro station about 400m from the property that means you're only a couple of stops from the hustle and bustle of Munich. The hotel is right next door to the Transport Museum, which is well worth a visit.

Stayed a couple of nihts with 3 grandchildren. The hotel was excellent to offer up to 6 persons room. Location is quite good, close to center, Ubahn and bus stop near by. Although we had a car. They have garage under the building.

Das Hotel ist hat ein gutes Konzept um die jungen Reisegruppen und gleichzeitig Famlien unterzubringen. Trotz der teilweise sehr lebhaften Jugendreisegruppen im Hotel haben wir in unserem Zimmer von diesen nichts gehört. Räumlich gut getrennt und insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr gut schallisoliert. Nichts von draußen zu hören und auch von den Nachbarzimmern. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist klein, aber die Qualität ist gut. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt betrifft das Rührei, das scheint wohl aus Fertigei herstegestellt worden zu sein. Ziemlich fest, nicht fluffig, aber dann ist auch Schluss. Kaffetrinken mit leckerem Kuchen im Garten war auch möglich. Die U-Bahn ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und drei Stationen später ist man im Zentrum. Meine Familie und ich haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Excellent hotel just slightly out of old town. Everything is within walking distance. Staff had been friendly and helpful with check in and all other requests. Breakfast is fresh and selection was great.

The hotel is very nice and spacious. The staff was accommodating and we were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out. There is a great breakfast selection and of course they serve the white sausage for breakfast. You can have lunch and dinner there as well. We had lunch there and was delicious. The old town center is 34 mins walking or you can take the train U5.

Everything was excellent, except breakfast. This is our second time we stayed at Augustin, and 1 year ago breakfast was exceptional, the variety of choice and quality. This time, it was very poor, and not very tasty, no oatmeal at all, no chocolate croissant, etc. We are hoping that our next time this will be improved. Thank you!

Our family traveled to Germany for Christmas. We met our daughter and took the bus to Munich where we met our son and husband at your wonderful hotel. The meals were very delicious, with the delicious breakfasts being a great way to start the day of walking. In the evenings, after walking for hours around Munich (Marienplatz, Nymphenburg Palace, etc) every day, we retired to your bar area for wonderful drinks to relax and talk about the day. We even played cards. The front desk staff were very friendly as well as the cleaning staff and the service staff in the restaurant & bar. We especially loved the example of a VW bus in the lobby. The rooms were top-notch and very comfortable. When we are back in Munich, we will stay there again and hopefully visit the Augustiner brewery. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Munich.
