Cadre très agréable. Vue magnifique. Sympa d'être juste à côté de l'océan avec une plage de sable. Buffet varié et de qualité. Pas assez de sourires de la part du personnel. Animations correctes mais sono beaucoup trop forte jusque dans les chambres et ceci jusque 22h30. Les boissons et le snack en all inclusive sont variés. Supermarché juste à côté. Parking public en face très étroit.

This hotel was fantastic if you want a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We found at all times that the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was varied and always had something that would apeal to someone with varied taste. The snacks and drinks were always on offer throughout the day and you are never waiting long to get served Nice touches like help yourself to wine from.tye bottle. Beer from the pump or softdrinks and chilled water Although there is a great pool and pool side area the man made beach is no more that 50m walk away so easy to go for a swim in the sea if you need a greater expanse of water to enjoy I would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone.

We had a wonderful time here and can’t wait to go back! We spent 5 days here as part of our honeymoon and loved it. We spent our mornings out on tours and the hotel packed lunches for us to take with, and our afternoon by the pool sipping sangria. Can’t go wrong with that! It’s a very small resort but it made it that much better - laid back, quiet, good selection of food options for me that were gluten free, and friendly staff

Tolles All-inlusive-Hotel mit schöner Aussenanlage, mega gutem Essen, schöner Wellnessbereich mit Indoor-Schwimmbad und freundlichem Personal. Auch die Nähe zum Strand war super. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Virkelig skønt hotel med masser af tilbud og komfort. Poolen var kold - men skønt med en dukkert i havet. Fin sauna og dampspa. Maden var super fin - mange forskellige tilbud. Hyggeligt med musik om aftenen. Ligger lidt afsides, hvis man gerne vil have byliv. Super julehyggeligt 🎄🎄🎄

We arrived late in the evening after our transfer from the airport. The resort had arranged the transfer for us and the driver was waiting at arrivals for the 8 of us in our group. He was great and gave us a bit of a tour on the way to Calheta. Our reception at the resort went well and the woman on duty made sure we got down to the buffet before it closed. She was very friendly and attentive to our needs after a long day of travel. Our rooms were modern and clean and cleaned and tidied well each day by the cleaning staff, The buffet was great with a large selection of food items. Drinks at the bar were served quickly and were good. The "drink of the day" by the pool was excellent on the 2 days we had them. The resort is in a beautiful location, nestled below a cliff. There is a public beach next to the resort which has great sand and water access. Evening entertainment was fairly low key but pleasant as we enjoyed the evening by the pool while listening to a musician or watching the dancers. We had no complaints about the staff at the resort. They were friendly and did their job well. All in all I would recommend staying at this all inclusive Calheta Beach Hotel on the beautiful island of Madeira.

The food buffet ist always absolutely delicious, for breakfast, lunch and especially dinner! Amazing! The rooms are nice and clean. Only the shower could have been cleaned a little bit more intensely, but it was OK. The Hotel staff helped with booking of activities (Guided Hiking Tours, organized bus ride to Funchal, etc) which was really great. The hotel location just next to the sand beach is wonderful, we went there for swimming every day :-) I also liked the Sauna which was nice to use after a long hiking day. Only some little things were not so good: too little space for our clothes in the room (too small cupboard, etc). Personally for us, it was a little too noisy in the hotel, but this is quite logical in such a big hotel that offers a Kids Club. In our opinion, there could have been less or not so loud music during the day. One staff member was not really friendly but the rest of the staff was always very nice and helpful. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, we had issues during our stay in this hotel. 1st day we had cockroaches in the bathroom and the bedroom. The guy in the front desk was very helpful, he transfered us to another room. Then, they said that room was booked and they moved us to another room on the next day. We moved to that other room. However, we had cockroaches too. And, then we saw a Geckos on the curtain of the bedroom. The hotel is beautiful and the stuff are very friendly and welcoming and the entertainment team were great but such a hotel should be very clean specially inside the rooms. Cockroaches and Geckos can't be inside the bedrooms. That is too bad.

Unnser Zimmer war schön und groß. Leider hat die Sauberkeit im kompletten Hotel zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Im Speisesaal war es sehr laut und das nicht weil die Gäste laut waren sondern weil beim Geschirrabräumen wenig Achtsamsamkeit auf die Lautstärke genommen wurde. Es könnte den Eindruck erwecken, dass das Personal dazu keine Lust hatte. Alles in allem merkt man, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist.
Unnser Zimmer war schön und groß. Leider hat die Sauberkeit im kompletten Hotel zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Im Speisesaal war es sehr laut und das nicht weil die Gäste laut waren sondern weil beim Geschirrabräumen wenig Achtsamsamkeit auf die Lautstärke genommen wurde. Es könnte den Eindruck erwecken, dass das Personal dazu keine Lust hatte. Alles in allem merkt man, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Die Unterkunft liegt an einem kleinen Strand und hat einen angemessenen Aussenpool. Innenpool ist sehr klein. Zimmer mit seitlichen Meeresblick für 3 Personen war Ok. Bad hat grauenhaft gestunken (keine Lüftung). Man kann nur All Inklusive buchen, Insgesamt viel zu teuer für das was angeboten wird.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was pretty good (didn't like the themed night buffets, like mexican food served in Portugal). Also the Reservation restaurant is nice, but their menu as inclusive food, and anything outside of that you have to pay (didn't like that we were not notified of this beforehand). The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was pretty good (didn't like the themed night buffets, like mexican food served in Portugal). Also the Reservation restaurant is nice, but their menu as inclusive food, and anything outside of that you have to pay (didn't like that we were not notified of this beforehand). Always our go-to for winter sunshine. We stay in a suite, which is actually an apartment and is perfect for us. Have already booked for my husband's 60th birthday next December, as it's where he wants to be for his birthday!

The front facing staff were, with one exception, very friendly and helpful. We had adjoining rooms and in both of the bathrooms the paint was peeling off in parts, the shower pressure could have been better as could the quality of towels. The bedroom areas were both nice after benefitting from some upgrading work, although the house keeping could improve. The supply of food was very generous but a little repetitive, one of the a la carte choices was first class, and for us, the drinks were good. On the whole, we had a very relaxing stay which I would rate as average, nothing awful but nothing amazing either. There is obviously a programme of improvements underway with the property and once completed this will enhance the overall experience of guests.

Was ok. Would not say a 4 star hotel. When booking, it gave the impression drinks were premium products on the All Inclusive and that’s not true. Room clean, but basic and really noisy first thing in the morning.

Worst experience I have had in 25 years of travel across 50+ countries. My room was disgusting, I paid for a suite with an ocean view and was given the equivalent to a motel 6 in a small town with no view, no AC, and the worst access to food I’ve ever seen. I paid $3k for this… it was so bad I left after just 2 days and they refused to refund me even though I bought a room that was NOTHING like what I got. Do not book.

We arrived late in the evening after our transfer from the airport. The resort had arranged the transfer for us and the driver was waiting at arrivals for the 8 of us in our group. He was great and gave us a bit of a tour on the way to Calheta. Our reception at the resort went well and the woman on duty made sure we got down to the buffet before it closed. She was very friendly and attentive to our needs after a long day of travel. Our rooms were modern and clean and cleaned and tidied well each day by the cleaning staff, The buffet was great with a large selection of food items. Drinks at the bar were served quickly and were good. The "drink of the day" by the pool was excellent on the 2 days we had them. The resort is in a beautiful location, nestled below a cliff. There is a public beach next to the resort which has great sand and water access. Evening entertainment was fairly low key but pleasant as we enjoyed the evening by the pool while listening to a musician or watching the dancers. We had no complaints about the staff at the resort. They were friendly and did their job well. All in all I would recommend staying at this all inclusive Calheta Beach Hotel on the beautiful island of Madeira.

Passei o aniversário da minha mulher, adoramos os dois dias que passamos. Os rapazes do bar por do Sol, especialmente os dois mais novinhos e incluindo o chefe, foram atenciosos e bem profissionais. O serviço no restaurante fica um pouco a desejar, nota-se logo o desnível do bar para o restaurante. Contudo, no geral foi bastante bom e tamos a pensar em voltar.

Madeira island as a whole is beautiful! I highly recommend coming here. However, I would stay anywhere else. This hotel is very new according to locals, and the lack of attention to not even details but just basic expectations of an all inclusive is evident. The food is horrible, we spent most of our time eating across the street at the grocery store. Each night had a different theme, I liked the fact they tried to make it fun and different. But, putting on outfits and different music did not mask the foods quality. The food was not edible, I heard many people complaining .The drinks were atrocious, my boyfriend is not a big beer drinker but we both stuck to beers the whole week. Every cocktail tasted either watered down or dirty. The only cocktail I remotely liked was an espresso martini. I am a bartender and aware these are tedious to make, but was shocked when I ordered one to have a server aggressively sigh and roll his eyes. Although he made the drink, he left all the ice in the glass and did not shake it. If you’ve ever worked in the service industry you have a certain level of empathy for people working like this. But my empathy ran out by the end of the week. There were only so many times I could take bad service, rude employees and a negative atmosphere on the chin. A manager needs to step in and set some quality standards. Madeira is a must visit, but don’t stay here. It’s a waste of money, I could’ve spent a lot less staying elsewhere else & making food myself.

A very relaxed ambience at rhe hotel. Staff were always helpful and responsive. Front desk staff were helpful with ideas for trips. Main plus for us was safe beach / sea access right next to the hotel. Slight downside was the room was dated, bad lighting in the room. And no proper coffee available other than at the bar which opened in the evening. Overall we had a really nice stay and would consider staying again.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the third single childs bed and they went out of their way to help sort this out for us. Even got a brand new single mattress! The resort entertainers were enthusiastic and always smiling. Would definitely recommend to families as all is made easy for you.

Ligging is prima, op een zonnige plaats en aan het bijna enige zandstrand van het eiland. Om wandelingen op het eiland te doen moet je wel steeds een stuk rijden. Een huurauto is dan zeker een must. Reken steeds 1uur of meer naar één van de bekende PR-wandelingen op Madeira. Kamer was prima, met mooi uitzicht op het zwembad, het strand en de zee. Animatie verzorgd door een overwegend Frans team. En dus meer naar Franse toeristen gericht. Eten in het hoofdrestaurant is middelmatig. Niet slecht maar er is veel beter te vinden. De thema's worden niet echt goed gevolgd. Er zijn 2 à la carte restaurants. Keuzemenu is beperkt maar de kwaliteit is gevoelig beter dan in het hoofdrestaurant. All-in drinks zijn ok. Kortom: goed vakantie adres maar het hoofdrestaurant kan beter.

Resort in una posizione strategica, di fronte al mare e con acesso diretto alla spiaggia di Chaleta. Stanza vista montagna ampia e pulita,letto comodo solo il bagno non è nuovissimo e andrebbe rivisto. Personale gentile e simpatico. Pasti all inclusive variegati e menu diverso ogni sera. Piscine esterne pulite anche se fredde. Bella la presenza della SPA con sauna, bagno turco e piscina riscaldata. Per questa dovrebbe essere limitato l'accesso ai bambini non accompagnati dai genitori perche rendono la permanenza impossibile e non rilassante. Divertenti gli spettacoli serali. Possibilità di parcheggio in garage a pagamento (7.50 euro) anziché 8.80 con grattino. Nel complesso un buon resort cui ritornare!

So far, the best All Inclusive we'd ever been to, considering the overall atmosphere, nice marina with choices of fishing or whale watching tours, great sandy beach right in front of the hotel (which is very rare thing on Madeira island!), fun evening entertainment, snd a very good choices of food!

Übersichtliches Hotel mit gutem Essen. Strandnähe, der jedoch öffentlich ist. Nicht zu überlaufen, alles gut zu erreichen. Nettes Personal, welches hauptsächlich englisch spricht. Ohne Auto schwierig dort wegzukommen, außer über gebuchte Ausflüge.

Our time at this resort was absolutely amazing! We were a little worried because of the mixed reviews but we had a great time. Some reviews said that the food was horrible, but keep in mind you are booking a fairly cheap all inclusive resort so you can't expect Michelin star dining. As not food critiques, we thought the food was great! We were worried because we saw in reviews that the all inclusive package doesn't actually include ALL food and drinks, however, everything is very well labelled on menus so you know what is included. The staff also always mentioned what was included in the all inclusive. The buffet is completely included, and the other two restaurants that you have to reserve state on their menus what you can order. Reviews said that only pre-mixed cocktails were included, but the list of drinks available was very extensive. I have put a photo of the all inclusive drink list on this review. The staff was super nice, the room was clean and we had booked a double bed, but it was huge, more like the size of a California king. There was entertainment every night and daily activities that were free to participate in. The saunas in the spa are also free to use, but booking a massage is extra. We took a Bolt to and from the airport and it was only 40 euros each way. All the beach chairs on the resort are free to use, but the ones on the beach cost 2 euros for a whole day to book (we didn't feel a need to do this).

Tolles All-inlusive-Hotel mit schöner Aussenanlage, mega gutem Essen, schöner Wellnessbereich mit Indoor-Schwimmbad und freundlichem Personal. Auch die Nähe zum Strand war super. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Also the Reservation restaurant is nice, but their menu as inclusive food, and anything outside of that you have to pay (didn't like that we were not notified of this beforehand). Rooms were nice and AC works very well ! Although the beds were super hard ( I weight 248 lbs and could feel the bed springs in my hips and torso side). All in all, i give it 4 out 5 stars !

This hotel is not all it claims to be. Pictures look way better online than what it looks like in person. The rooms are old and need to be updated. The all inclusive component is a joke. The food at the buffet is inedible and absolutely terrible. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. We tried to get out of reservation after one night and they would not refund us for the nights we hadn't stay yet. They blamed Expedia. Finally, after many wasted hours going back and forth they offered us to go stay down the street at their sister hotel for additional charges. Basically, we had to pay again with a small discount. The sister hotel was 5 stars and fantastic. It was not all inclusive, but did include breakfast and it was excellent.

Not what we were expecting from a hotel that sports the name savoy the hotel itself was very clean and tidy the food however was terrible by the time you had made your way around the buffet your food was cold, mostly consisting of low quality high carb foods the juice was so watered down they were indistinguishable from each other, the evening entertainment was so loud one night it sounded like a football stadium, nowhere to go to have a quiet drink. And the restaurant had no dress code and allowed the children to run around sticking their hands into the food mainly the ice cream no parental control, it’s billed as a four star but overall is no better than butlins. Certainly will not be returning to any of their hotels and certainly would not recommend any one to use them.

Väldigt bra hotell för hela familjen. God mat och riktigt bra dryck men fantastiska drinkar i poolbaren varje dag mellan 16-18. All inclusive var värt det! Särskilt Madeira buffén när de dukade upp grillar längs poolen. Jätte fint pool område! Bra rum, dock lite liten bäddsoffa för våra barn att dela på, de är 11 och 14 år. Bra läge i lugn by.
