We were so pleased with our choice to stay at Palazzo Confalone. Tucked into a flower-trimmed alleyway in Ravello, the hotel offered multiple levels of stunning views, and above and beyond service. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting with Antonella, who generously shared her extensive knowledge of Amalfi Coast wines. Each and every member of the team made us feel like VIPs. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone we know.

We were so pleased with our choice to stay at Palazzo Confalone. Tucked into a flower-trimmed alleyway in Ravello, the hotel offered multiple levels of stunning views, and above and beyond service. Beautiful and refined hotel with a rooftop terrace that is spectacular! We experienced exceptional service from the front desk, the restaurant waiters, and the porters who took care of our car and luggage. Everyone was welcoming, gracious, attentive. The staff members, in pure Euro fashion, were well groomed, dressed in suit and tie or scarf, and spoke impeccable English. We had a wonderful relaxing dinner in the restaurant, and the next morning an amazing breakfast on the rooftop. We also recommend Luigi’s Bar right below the hotel,in a lovely courtyard. This is where we were when news broke out, and all Ravello church bells rang wildly, about our new Pope. Do book here, it is a quiet respite from the busy Ravello streets and a fabulous location for whatever sights you wish to see.

Lovely historic property with a terrific staff, great breakfast (included) and a great bar overlooking the coast. Ravello is beautiful and quieter than the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Our room (especially the floor) could have been cleaner and the AC does not work well. Very comfortable room. Cabs are VERY expensive and the drive is long to get anywhere outside of Ravello. Lots to see in Ravello though.

The building itself is beautiful and in a remarkable location. Breakfast on the veranda so amazing between the view, the service and the food that you will want to stay all day! All facets of service were first class; the luggage assistance was seamless and critical. The serenity captivates you. I will return!

Can’t say enough about how lovely the Palazzo Confalone is. Old world charm, elegant and understated, not glitzy. The architecture, views and grounds are its most beautiful assets and speak for themselves. The staff was great. The concierge even called the town hall, in the village that my grandparents come from, to find out how to get their birth certificates. Best views in all of Ravello. Outside our room we had a private eating area, orange and lemon groves, and stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast outdoors with incredible views of the coast. Lovely, quiet palazzo dining room with sky-high domed ceiling and excellent food. Can’t wait to go back!

Firstly Location is perfect, loved Ravello & it has become our favourite location in Amalfi. The hotel is wonderful, we had our own private garden area to sit in with wonderful views. The head waiter in the restaurant was always so polite & welcoming (shame I do not remember his name). A 2 min stroll into the centre of Ravello, Perfect!!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Confalone and would recommend to anyone visiting Ravello. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location. We stayed in the annex building about 40 yards away from the main building for a lower rate/privacy but we very much enjoyed the views of the mountainside. Breakfast is fantastic and is served in the main building on a balcony rooftop overlooking the sea. They bring out a spread of different foods when you sit down and have a full menu (pancakes, omelette, meats & cheeses, etc.) to order from free of charge. We also loved grabbing drinks from the restaurant in the garden/pergola area at the main building. We would grab drinks there before dinner and take in the views of the sea.

Location was great and breakfast was great. Our room did not have a shower, just a deep tub that was hard to get in and out of. I would not have booked if I would have known the room did not offer a shower. We had to call to clean our room after being gone all day. The bar did not open until 7 PM. The stay was just ok and for the price not a good value. I would not book here again.

Lovely stay! Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Ravello is a beautiful spot away from the more popular, but also busier, noisier and more touristy towns in the Amalfi coast. The room was large, comfortable and clean, but decor was a bit dated. We loved our little walk out patio with a bistro table and chairs, and a view of the coast - the only thing missing was a lounge chair to relax and enjoy even more.

It’s a lovely Palazzo..lots of history and public rooms well kept. that said there are several things that travelers should be aware of.. No elevators at all and many steps to get around.. My mini suite had several issues which were brought to the attention of front desk who did not seem interested. Jacuzzi tub has rusted and cruddy water and not usable. I tried several times to clean to no avail. Toilet flush buttons broken. Shower moulding filthy and leaking all over floor. Hot towel bars inoperable- did not get hot.. front desk said it was fixable but did not do anything.they charge for water- not cool.. front desk impotent to resolve even little concerns- definitely not up to par- it’s a shame because it’s a lovely facility that is lacking..this was by far the worse property I stayed at in Italy …and I stayed at seven upscale hotels on this trip..

We celebrated Mother's Day at this beautiful property. Our dinner was sublime with a view of the water, priceless and romantic. Our garden facing room was lovely and the staff very friendly. We drove and the location was very hard to find. Once we figured it out we were met at a piazza steps away. The bellboy drove our car through the most narrow street you can imagine and our worries melted away.

We celebrated Mother's Day at this beautiful property. Our dinner was sublime with a view of the water, priceless and romantic. Our garden facing room was lovely and the staff very friendly. We drove and the location was very hard to find. Once we figured it out we were met at a piazza steps away. The views from the Alice room were beautiful, overlooking the water from the south of Ravello. The walk to the main Ravello piazza was only 5 minutes away. Very convenient. Our room did not have a shower with an overhead spout, which was one of the only qualms we had. The included breakfast was delicious and had the best view on the property.

Not quite as glitzy as the Belmond next door (we are there), Palazzo Confolone makes up for this with the most amazing people. Warm, humorous and attentive they made our stay so enjoyable. Also great value. Be sure to stay in the main building. We will be back.

The staff without exception were lovely. Very professional but also very kind … nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a delight. Antonella was very attentive and friendly. We had the blue garden room which was very comfortable and our own little terrace. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a treat .

Lovely stay! Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Ravello is a beautiful spot away from the more popular, but also busier, noisier and more touristy towns in the Amalfi coast. We loved our little walk out patio with a bistro table and chairs, and a view of the coast - the only thing missing was a lounge chair to relax and enjoy even more.

The building itself is beautiful and in a remarkable location. Breakfast on the veranda so amazing between the view, the service and the food that you will want to stay all day! All facets of service were first class; the luggage assistance was seamless and critical. The serenity captivates you. I will return!

It’s a lovely Palazzo..lots of history and public rooms well kept. that said there are several things that travelers should be aware of.. No elevators at all and many steps to get around.. My mini suite had several issues which were brought to the attention of front desk who did not seem interested. Jacuzzi tub has rusted and cruddy water and not usable. I tried several times to clean to no avail. Toilet flush buttons broken. Shower moulding filthy and leaking all over floor. Hot towel bars inoperable- did not get hot.. front desk said it was fixable but did not do anything.they charge for water- not cool.. front desk impotent to resolve even little concerns- definitely not up to par- it’s a shame because it’s a lovely facility that is lacking..this was by far the worse property I stayed at in Italy …and I stayed at seven upscale hotels on this trip..

Hotel restaurant has a wonderful view, even though the rooms are in a different building, it was not far away from the main building. The staff was very professional and friendly. Ravello is the most beautiful town at Amalfi coast.

Lovely historic property with a terrific staff, great breakfast (included) and a great bar overlooking the coast. Ravello is beautiful and quieter than the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Our room (especially the floor) could have been cleaner and the AC does not work well. Very comfortable room. Cabs are VERY expensive and the drive is long to get anywhere outside of Ravello. Lots to see in Ravello though.

We celebrated Mother's Day at this beautiful property. Our dinner was sublime with a view of the water, priceless and romantic. Our garden facing room was lovely and the staff very friendly. We drove and the location was very hard to find. Once we figured it out we were met at a piazza steps away. The bellboy drove our car through the most narrow street you can imagine and our worries melted away.

Firstly Location is perfect, loved Ravello & it has become our favourite location in Amalfi. The hotel is wonderful, we had our own private garden area to sit in with wonderful views. The head waiter in the restaurant was always so polite & welcoming (shame I do not remember his name). A 2 min stroll into the centre of Ravello, Perfect!!!

The views from the Alice room were beautiful, overlooking the water from the south of Ravello. The walk to the main Ravello piazza was only 5 minutes away. Very convenient. Our room did not have a shower with an overhead spout, which was one of the only qualms we had. The included breakfast was delicious and had the best view on the property.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Confalone and would recommend to anyone visiting Ravello. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location. We stayed in the annex building about 40 yards away from the main building for a lower rate/privacy but we very much enjoyed the views of the mountainside. Breakfast is fantastic and is served in the main building on a balcony rooftop overlooking the sea. They bring out a spread of different foods when you sit down and have a full menu (pancakes, omelette, meats & cheeses, etc.) to order from free of charge. We also loved grabbing drinks from the restaurant in the garden/pergola area at the main building. We would grab drinks there before dinner and take in the views of the sea.

For the last four days/evenings we have been vacationing in Ravello and staying at Palazzo Confalone. This is a lovely boutique hotel housed in a restored and well-maintained palace overlooking the sea. The lovely antiques, frescoed ceilings and colonnades evoke one’s imagination of what life must have been like for the gentry who settled this beautiful mountainside hamlet many years past. The hotel is a two minute walk to the duomo and town square. Staying at Palazzo Confalone was like visiting family. The staff attended to our every need, even accommodating our gluten intolerance with homemade gluten free croissants, breads, pasta and lovely dinners, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They recommended day excursions and helped us get a true sense of life on the Amalfi coast. While there are other larger “palazzos” in Ravello, they are pretentious and over double the price of Piazza Confalone. We could not rate this hotel and the warm and friendly staff who manage it any higher. We will certainly return one day with our grown children.

Location was great and breakfast was great. Our room did not have a shower, just a deep tub that was hard to get in and out of. I would not have booked if I would have known the room did not offer a shower. We had to call to clean our room after being gone all day. The bar did not open until 7 PM. The stay was just ok and for the price not a good value. I would not book here again.

Can’t say enough about how lovely the Palazzo Confalone is. Old world charm, elegant and understated, not glitzy. The architecture, views and grounds are its most beautiful assets and speak for themselves. The staff was great. The concierge even called the town hall, in the village that my grandparents come from, to find out how to get their birth certificates. Best views in all of Ravello. Outside our room we had a private eating area, orange and lemon groves, and stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast outdoors with incredible views of the coast. Lovely, quiet palazzo dining room with sky-high domed ceiling and excellent food. Can’t wait to go back!

This is by far one of THE BEST hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. It is par excellence. Ravello itself is majestic resting on a mountain and this hotel simply augments its beauty. From our check in to check out - everything was seamless. The property screams elegance and class and the staff backs it up with flawless service. Breakfast is both a visual and culinary delight perched on a balcony with stunning views of the Amalfi coast and picturesque beach villages of Minori and Māori. Special shout out to Luigi, who took such great care of us everyday and made sure we were fed and our bellies happy. We stayed for 5 nights and were visiting for a friends wedding. The hotel is walking distance from pretty much everything. Our rooms were massive and the bathroom had a jacuzzi in it which was something we were not expecting in the least. I highly recommend this for a romantic get away.

This hotel is beautiful and has so much history. The views are magical and the restaurant, particularly our server, Giovanni, was phenomenal (best service we’ve ever had). However, as it relates to the amenities and cleanliness this is far from a 5-star experience. Our towels we received were dirty with dried blood, the entryway to the hotel had a swarm of some type of flying insects (gnats?), there was no shower in our room (the bath was nice but inconvenient for getting ready quickly or comfortably), and the toiletries were just very standard formulations you’d get at a Marriott. I would absolutely recommend going here for a lunch or late afternoon drink or an excellent dinner on the terrace but I wouldnt recommend staying here.
