No amenties inside the room (no kattle is available) and the layout is inconvenient. Parking is expensive, it costs euro 21 per day. Parking is away fom the hotel. Hotel is located along a busy road. unloading of luggage is very inconvenient especially for seniors.

We really liked this hotel. The directions for parking and entrance were all easy and timely. You could easily walk from hotel to old town Salzburg or take a bus. The parking was close by and fairly cheap. We loved the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. We left our luggage safely in the luggage room as we arrived early in the day. Very convenient. We felt safe and comfortable.

When we arrived and wanted to check in, there was no-one there to receive/welcome us. We were expected to let ourselves into the property using codes on my personal phone. (It had gone dead so we were temporarily unable to get into the property. AARGH!!!!

They don’t have anyone to do check in at any hour. They don’t have a garage that they say they have It’s impossible to stop in front of the hotel to leave a luggage, so you have to carry in the car, find a garage and come back. Sometimes in the rain. But the worst part is you can’t ask anyone. I enjoy people

It is an excellent hotel, however, please note that it is missing some of the staffing and attendance you would see at a bigger hotel. But if you live without 24hr concierge, and other things like a more spacious storage and ability to do some small laundry or ironing, this is really a great spot. Easily walkable to the centre of Salzburg ina great neighbourhood.

Nice modern hotel with updated rooms and AC. Parking is not close/easy to find. Hotel operator gave us address (5 min walk) but it appeared to be reserved for store and medical office use, so had to park elsewhere.

Room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Despite not having a front desk and being connected to a cafe, the communication, check in, check out and luggage storage was great. 15 mins walk to train station, 20ish to town centre.

Prima hotel om Salzburg te bezoeken, fantasievol ingericht. Hotel zonder receptie, met code toegang verkregen. Fijne kamer en bed, prima douche. Goed ontbijt. Parkeren in nabijgelegen garage tegen betaling, helaas wel lopen met koffers in de hand.

The hotel is perfectly fine and ok value for what it is, but is let down by its location - quite a walk from the old town and main attractions in Salzburg and on a street with a lot of traffic fumes. I was in a room at the back, so quiet, but quite dark. The standard of the room itself and cleanliness are very good.

Sehr stylisches, kleines Boutiquehotel. Modern eingerichtet mit tollem Farbkonzept. Die Mitarbeiter im Cafe sowie am Telefon sind supernett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist sehr, sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

The photos on Expedia are very misleading. Make sure you’re booking a suite if you want what’s in the photos. The standard room I got was worse than expected. The location is ok but it’s still about a mile from the city center. They also tidied up the room a bit even though we had the DND flyer on the door.

from the street, the hotel looks unassuming, once you enter the courtyard, you are impressed. great place to have coffee, clean, modern rooms, very friendly staff. I would come there again.

The property is really nice and finished to a high standard however, the room we had was different to the room in the images when selecting - we were shown a balcony and did not have one. Not having a reception at all is a bit of an issue, we were unable to request additional pillows for the stay. The cleaners also entered our room at 8am in the morning and did not refill our hand soap or body wash. It is a decent hub to explore from but, there is nothing significant nearby and it is a cold walk along the river in winter if you are going then

Would have liked to have a shelf in the shower because the small tray was broken. Road noise was pretty loud. Otherwise, overall experience was very good. Breakfast was tasty and the access to the luggage lounge was MAJOR. Would recommend.

Property is too small for more than one or couple and not good for business purposes because.no privacy of shower door due to glass door spot light. Toilet has no sink inside and very unhinged to open the door with dirty hand got to the bedroom for wash. Our stay at Das Salz was lovely. We had a bit of trouble with parking initially but staff over the phone and at the cafe was very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room was next to the road on the first floor and so it was quite noisy at night, but overall everything inside the hotel was very nice. Only about a 20 minute walk from the main square.

A chic and stylish concept hotel. Spotlessly clean and modern and fresh (new hotel). Contactless check in and check out worked well. Convenient location. Rooms facing courtyard and away from busy road very quiet. Great for youngsters and hipsters. Loved it.

We stayed on the 4th floor. When we closed the window it was SILENT! Shades and dark curtains kept ALL the light out. Wonderful nights sleep! 20 minute walk to the main train station. Very easy. The staff was super friendly and spoke beautiful English. We really enjoyed our stay!

A little far to city center. There is no front desk . First night we had a question and we sent email regarding our room it took more than 24 hours we got responses. Breakfast was excellent. Generally our stay was ok

Not a single positive thing to say about the property ....zero customer service. There was no one at the cafe to answer or help answer any questions. Terrible check-in. process, horrible breakfast and the guy there was only interested in collecting money for the breakfast.

Had booked a room for 3 people, only to find upon arrival that there was bed linen and towels for only 2. (So missing for 1 person) As the hotel has no front desk, I had to call. First spoke with a lady, later a man. They were very friendly, but it took 4,5 hour for them to get the bedlinen sorted. The room is nice, but be aware that the shower has a see through glass door. For family it's probably ok, but for friends travelling together this might be an issue.

We loved staying in this hotel. It was just close enough to the city centre. The quality of the breakfast was excellent!!! Unfortunately, we left an electrical item in the room. As soon as we realised we contacted the hotel and arranged for the item to be sent to our home address. They were so helpful and understanding and because of this I would most certainly return to this hotel again

No hooks in the shower to hang a towel or clothes. It would be nice if you provide an iron for ironing clothes. We needed to talk to someone urgent but the customer service does not pick up the call. Every time it took us six to seven calls to reach them. Otherwise it was good and couple of kilometers from the major tourist attractions.

No reception desk. Online check in only,and that was a terrible experience. We arrived at the property and had no idea how to check in. Another guest let us into the lobby but there were no instructions on how to check in. Apparently we were supposed to receive check in information 24 hours previously but we didn’t receive the email. Room and location were average at best, We were supposed to stay 3 nights but cancelled after the 1st night and moved to another hotel in a better location.

The hotel is perfectly fine and ok value for what it is, but is let down by its location - quite a walk from the old town and main attractions in Salzburg and on a street with a lot of traffic fumes. I was in a room at the back, so quiet, but quite dark. The standard of the room itself and cleanliness are very good.

The hotel location is not that convenient and only limited choice of restaurants nearby. I stayed on 1/F facing the street, it was quite noisy at night even all the windows and curtains are closed. The room condition is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good.

Todo excelente, queda a quince minutos caminando de la estación de trenes y a 20 minutos caminando del centro. Es un hotel muy moderno y limpio, me quedaría de nuevo ahí sin dudarlo

Not a single positive thing to say about the property ....zero customer service. There was no one at the cafe to answer or help answer any questions. Terrible check-in. process, horrible breakfast and the guy there was only interested in collecting money for the breakfast.

We really liked this hotel. The directions for parking and entrance were all easy and timely. You could easily walk from hotel to old town Salzburg or take a bus. The parking was close by and fairly cheap. We loved the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. We left our luggage safely in the luggage room as we arrived early in the day. Very convenient. We felt safe and comfortable.

Zimmer: Einrichtung Sitzgruppe unpraktisch! Zimmerservice fragwürdig ? keine Zahngläser, Wasserkrug eher eine Vase, verkalkt! Wasserkocher verkalkt und schmutzig! Gläser / Tassen wurden nie abgewaschen! Keine Ablagen für Kleider, Garderobe schwache Kleiderbügel und defekte! Frühstück ! 2 x mussten wir Auswärts ! angeblich Personalmangel! Und die ganze Woche immer das gleiche Frühstück keine Abwechslung , für diesen Preis! Niemand ist zuständig warum ? es ist niemand vor Ort !! Ansonsten ist Salzburg schön!!

Insgesamt ein sehr gelungenes Hotel und wirklich sauber. Perfekte Betten und wunderschöne Zimmer. Empfang und Abschied war äußerst herzlich und freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt meinerseits war die Reichhaltigkeit beim Frühstück. Auch dass nur ein Heißgetränk inkludiert ist finde ich persönlich eher schwach. Hier kann gerne etwas erweitert werden zumal es Hotels in günstigeren Preisklassen deutlich stärker ausgebaut haben. Ansonsten gerne wieder!!

We loved staying in this hotel. It was just close enough to the city centre. The quality of the breakfast was excellent!!! Unfortunately, we left an electrical item in the room. As soon as we realised we contacted the hotel and arranged for the item to be sent to our home address. They were so helpful and understanding and because of this I would most certainly return to this hotel again

Room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Despite not having a front desk and being connected to a cafe, the communication, check in, check out and luggage storage was great. 15 mins walk to train station, 20ish to town centre.

The hotel was about a 15 min walk from the train station and it was easy to find. It’s a very beautiful city with a lot to see and to walk around town is the best choice if you want to see as much as you can, otherwise there are a lot of day trips you can take outside the city with train or buses.

Petite chambre avec tout ce qu’on a besoin mais à 3 c’était serré . Situé sur rue passante à environ 15 minutes à pied du vieux secteur . Très bon petit déjeuner .

Buona struttura, abbastanza vicina al centro raggiungibile a piedi o con autobus ( con biglietti compresi). Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una camera che dava sulla strada e la sconsiglio a chi ha il sonno leggero, nonostante il Doppio vetro si sente. Colazione ottima, personale gentilissimo e facilmente raggiungibile via whatsapp (bot) e email ( persone fisiche). Possibilità di affittare la bicicletta. Parcheggio convenzionato a 21 euro a notte, valido. Supermercato a poche centinaia di metri ma nessun ristorante vicinissimo. Ritornerei nel complesso.

Mycket trevligt hotell med bra promenadavstånd till Salzburgs centrum. Allt var superfräscht renoverat och rummet var jättefint och rymligt. Vi hade fönster in mot gården så det var knäpptyst och mörkt tack vare jättebra mörkläggningsgardiner. Fantastiskt god frukost i hotellets trevliga café. Vi är väldigt nöjda och kan varmt rekommendera Boutique Hotel Das Salz.
