Fabulous hotel, loved our stay there. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Gorgeous views. Gorgeous pool. If there was anything negative to say, the bed was extremely hard. Last shuttle back to the hotel was 10pm. Would have been great if an hour or so later.

Our second time at Johanna Park, such a lovely area, you are in a garden, surrounded by lemon , orange and olive trees . Great breakfast selection, dinner always very delicious. Shuttle to Sorrento centre and return. There were 5 of us, we al enjoyed this hotel.

Fantastisk skønt sted. Vi kan give hotellet de bedste anbefalinger. Hyggeligt hotel, dejlig pool og god venlig service. Rigtig fin beliggenhed med gratis shuttlebus til byen.

Hotellet var fint och ganska rent, men inte såg ut som en fyra stjärna hotell, frukosten var inte alls bra. Det som var bra med hotellet var polen och transfer bussen till centrum.

Parking was very straightforward. Hotel is in a beautiful location above Sorrento. There is a steep 10 minute walk down into the town. Hotel offers a shuttle service. Although limited, the food was well presented and tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly.

Perfekt läge om man kommer med egen bil och inte vill jaga parkering kring sitt hotell. Lätt att ta sig ner till Sorrento med hotellets busservice eller en fin promenad på småvägar utan trafik.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, shuttle bus was great for getting up and down but the times of the service where a bit disappointing, the last one back to hotel was 10pm which was quite annoying and there was nothing really that interesting in the hotel to go back so early for. The room was really outdated and very little in the choice of TV channels. The bed was really uncomfortable and our view from the hotel was at the back so basically it wasn’t a view The staff are friendly but sometimes it was like a bit of an effort to get you something

Mycket trevligt, fräscht och rent rum med terrass mot havet, separerat från huvudbyggnaden, i en bungalow. Välskött och vacker trädgård och poolområde. Mycket trevlig personal och väldigt måna om att ge bra service, fick fina tips inför vår Neapelutflykt. Hotellets egna shuttle service gör det enkelt att ta sig in till Sorrento, lokalbussarna stannar inte alltid då de under högsäsong ofta är överfulla.

I only gave 3 stars to this hotel because some staff and some things were okay but I do even think it deserves 3 stars. I reserved a room with a view but something happened I guess when we checked in because they told us to come back down stairs and that they are changing our room: they called it garden view away from the hotel and we had to drag our luggage down not even sure what to call it. The room was semi clean because there were aunts on the floor. The ridge didn’t work and the view was horrible! It was unkept garden you don’t even want to see and small lizards were all we saw. The place seems like it’s a family run than corporate ran because the person that helped checked us in was also the person that took our order at the restaurant and also the one that drove the shuttle to the city. They seem to have many hats. The person that took us to the city (that drove the shuttle) told us to wait where he dropped us off and gave us the schedule for the shuttle so we went to the same spot and waited at 9 pm which the shuttle never came. When we called the hotel they told us he just left and should be there soon which never happened. When we called the hotel again no one answered. We waited until 10 to see if the 10 pm would come on time and since we waited until 9:30 we said 30 minutes wouldn’t change anything. We waited 10 after 10 and took a taxi to the hotel and when i mentioned it to the guy in the front desk he said the driver was there at 10 but at a different spot.

This hotel is a little distance from the center of Sorrento but the hotel runs a shuttle into town which was very useful. It sits high on the hill and has amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Capri. The staff were helpful and the food at the restaurant was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable but a little dated.

All good things to say about Johanna Park Hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very reasonable and nice bathroom (they’re all small everywhere but this was clean and had tub/shower). The restaurant was good quality, lots of options at the breakfast buffet and solid options for dinner. The service was fantastic, all the staff with the restaurant and the shuttle services were incredibly hardworking and kind to go out of their way for you. The front desk staff was helpful, sometimes a little short with you, but saw that everywhere in Italy. The shuttle service was incredibly helpful to go to city center and bus/train station. It solved a lot of worries about walking down/uphill or getting an expensive taxi. Highly recommend Johanna Park Hotel, and would stay again if visiting Sorrento!

Great staff, very clean rooms and really comfortable, the only issue was the parking, too many cars around, and there is a church next door, if you want to rest in the morning it's kind of hard

Only stayed one night as we had a Yacht excursion the following day. The pool was fine. Dining room server was very professional and courteous. Check in and out was easy. The furniture in the rooms needs to be updated badly. Hotel needs to be refreshed. But for one night I can’t complain. Property is up away from all of the noise down below.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff who helped us out sort airport transport and book a tour. Good size room for 4 of us. Good shuttle into town which only took about 5 minutes. Good base to explore Sorrento/Naples/Amalfi.

The property is very clean, and the view is good. Staff is extremely caring. From receptionist, barista, waiter, you feel warm welcome from everyone. It like steps into my own big family except my dog would not bark at me. There is shuttle between hotel and Sorrento which is a plus.

I reserved a room with a view but something happened I guess when we checked in because they told us to come back down stairs and that they are changing our room: they called it garden view away from the hotel and we had to drag our luggage down not even sure what to call it. The room was semi clean because there were aunts on the floor. The ridge didn’t work and the view was horrible! It was unkept garden you don’t even want to see and small lizards were all we saw. The place seems like it’s a family run than corporate ran because the person that helped checked us in was also the person that took our order at the restaurant and also the one that drove the shuttle to the city. They seem to have many hats. The person that took us to the city (that drove the shuttle) told us to wait where he dropped us off and gave us the schedule for the shuttle so we went to the same spot and waited at 9 pm which the shuttle never came. When we called the hotel they told us he just left and should be there soon which never happened. When we called the hotel again no one answered. We waited until 10 to see if the 10 pm would come on time and since we waited until 9:30 we said 30 minutes wouldn’t change anything. We waited 10 after 10 and took a taxi to the hotel and when i mentioned it to the guy in the front desk he said the driver was there at 10 but at a different spot.

Only stayed one night as we had a Yacht excursion the following day. The pool was fine. Dining room server was very professional and courteous. Check in and out was easy. The furniture in the rooms needs to be updated badly. Hotel needs to be refreshed. But for one night I can’t complain. Property is up away from all of the noise down below.

All good things to say about Johanna Park Hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very reasonable and nice bathroom (they’re all small everywhere but this was clean and had tub/shower). The restaurant was good quality, lots of options at the breakfast buffet and solid options for dinner. The service was fantastic, all the staff with the restaurant and the shuttle services were incredibly hardworking and kind to go out of their way for you. The front desk staff was helpful, sometimes a little short with you, but saw that everywhere in Italy. The shuttle service was incredibly helpful to go to city center and bus/train station. It solved a lot of worries about walking down/uphill or getting an expensive taxi. Highly recommend Johanna Park Hotel, and would stay again if visiting Sorrento!

Our family took 2 rooms for 9 nights at the hotel. The beat thing about the hotel is their staff, they very kind and always keen to help. Even though the hotel is with small number of room the service is 24/7. the pool is great the kids loved it . The hotel should upgrade some of its furniture and it would help to add a kittle in the rooms. we enjoyed our stay and for recommend to stay at this hotel especially for families with kids.

Le cadre extérieur est exceptionnel par contre l'hôtel se situe très loin du centre de Sorrento. Il n'y a rien au alentour et vous ne pouvez pas rejoindre le centre à pied, c'est très loin et la route très dangereuse. L'hôtel met à disposition des navettes mais vous êtes tributaires des horaires. La chambre était vétuste, pas de confort. Le personnel est agréable.

Our second time at Johanna Park, such a lovely area, you are in a garden, surrounded by lemon , orange and olive trees . Great breakfast selection, dinner always very delicious. Shuttle to Sorrento centre and return. There were 5 of us, we al enjoyed this hotel.

The hotel was fairly cozy and they lived up to what they promised, but it was quite tedious having to schedule your trips to Sorrento based on the shuttle times. There were no alternative dinner options and the food was ok, but no better. But the service was nice and it was still a decent place to stay at.

The room and areas I was in were clean. The queen bed was two mattresses pushed together. The first couple days the pool was green and murky. The sun deck is not as shown in pictures. Charged for every coffee I had at breakfast (I thought it was part of the breakfast). Convenient to have a restaurant on location but food was just okay. The beach is not a 13 minute walk to the beach. It is located high up in an unsafe to walk to road. They did have scheduled shuttle rides. Housekeeping staff was friendly and did a great job. The night waiters were a delight. So helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet servers caused anxiety. One didn’t mention that I was charged for coffee. The other was just rude. I felt like I should be there eating breakfast that is part of the price of my stay. The owners were there a lot. Not the friendliest but not rude like the shorter breakfast waiter. Someone did open my door while I was in the bathroom so that was creepy. At 50 I was on the younger side of the guest. The views were amazing. They poor a stiff drink and I appreciated that. Once the pool was cleaned I loved hanging out by the pool. Not sure I’d stay there again.
