Gialova Hills - Luxury Villa with Private Pool, Sauna, Garden & Seaview

The downstairs swim-up apartments at Giavlova Hills 8 really are superb. Two good-sized double bedrooms with excellent storage, a large bathroom with shower and separate toilet. The open-plan kitchen-diner and lounge lead on to a spacious patio equipped with a large table and chairs, plus sofa and coffee table. We stayed in apartment No.2 and it's perhaps worth pointing out that owing to the porous nature of the stonework used to build the development, there was the odd stain, including a footprint, on the patio but I am being a touch pedantic. The real stand-out was the swim-up pool. I have to say that in almost 50 years of travelling abroad this was the cleanest pool I have ever seen. The pool maintenance man was there every morning with his under-water robot vacuum and it showed. An absolute credit to him. Yet the apartment still wouldn't score a 10 with some of the ladies out there - including my wife. Reason? The only mirror in our entire apartment was in the bathroom along with a wee shaving mirror. Now ladies like to look their best before they go out in the evening and if they can't check out their appearance most will not be happy. So come on Gialova Hills management. Put full-length mirrors on the back of the wardrobe doors, add a couple in the lounge and the girls will be happy. They might even score you a 10. Finally, thanks to Nikos from the management company who was a big help throughout our stay.
