Room was fabulous and the area is fantastic, walking distance to downtown Montreal. The only inconvenience is the communication, the room is handled by Werfy but it is inside the Griffinton Hotel. I feel like communication should've been handled better by Werfy, I didn't realize I had to book the parking, when asked I was told they would give me some names of parking nearby but they never did. For the check-out I had to ask at the hotel front desk how to handle the keys. Nothing that would affect my stay, still something they should work on

Despite looking clean and tidy when we arrived, we noticed several concerning issues over time. The toilets had areas of brown sludge in them near the drain (not sure what that was), and several of the pillows in the king size bed had a scalp oil smell to them as though they had not been changed. After having stepped out of the shower onto the bathroom floor, I went back in the shower to retrieve something and my clean feet were dirty again from the bathroom floor and left brown footprints on the damp shower floor. In addition, the sofa bed was caved in the centre and extremely uncomfortable. Most importantly, the listing indicated that parking was available on site. However, there was in fact, no parking available and we had to park several blocks down the street and walk back-and-forth. We went into the parking lot to investigate, and there were many empty spots, including multiple with a sign saying “Griffintown hotel.” Following our stay I complained to the property owner and asked for a discount on our stay. He offered me 20% off a future stay, but I will not be taking a second chance. He asked for photos, however I did not have any so I suggested he go to the property himself and investigate. He felt I was threatening him with a poor review in exchange for a discount. In fact, I believe I was entitled to one given the lack of cleanliness. My recommendation is that if you decide to rent, take a careful look before you decide to stay overnight.

The accommodations were awesome. Full kitchen, separate bedroom, great livingroom. Perfect! Communication was tricky - not able to speak with anyone by phone. We were going to be arriving late and they do not have someone in the office on a 24h basis. If our flight arrived late, and/or it took time for our bags to arrive at baggage claim, or it took longer to get our rental car, we could have ended up locked out. The reservation and digital key doesn't tell you which room you're in. Also, all the street parking was occupied and there's no way to get into the onsite garage for the first time without seeing someone at the office first. We found these aspects stressful but everything else was great.

WERFY provided us with an excellent accommodation, beautiful apartment with great views across the city and the port area. It is walkable and close to the city and the old port area. The size of the apartment is large and the 24-hour front desk at the 4th floor was very useful and helpful. The staff members at WERFY were polite and eager to help.

The apartment was perfect for 2 people. It had a nice city view from our 8th floor. If your a light sleeper there is lots of construction noise. The location is great for catching a bus or train. No parking available at the place so parking can be an issue. When we arrived, the APP was not working to get into our room, however, having a person on sight came and resolved the issue immediately. He was very responsive to our needs and gave us some helpful hints about the city.

The apartment was great, with beautiful city views, clean, modern, tastefully decorated. The only aspect I didn't like was that the hotel does not have parking, and we had to park at a public parking located at about 7-8min walk. It isn't normally a big deal, but it becomes inconvenient when the weather doesn't cooperate.

We really liked the apartment style. The view was cool, having a full kitchen was nice, and the AC worked great. We also took advantage of the washer dryer. We had 5 people, so we did use the sofa bed and the only complaint with that was that there was some hairs on the mattress. There were also some hairs on the shower gel. Other than the hairs, the rest of the space was clean.

Overall was ok BUT when checked the bed, the sheets were not changed from the previous visitors. They were wrinkled and had hair and crumbs on the mattress sheet. Had to use one of the sheets from the blanket to cover the mattress. Felt gross to sleep in the bed with dirty sheets.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the property itself had potential, my experience was marred by an absolute lack of cleanliness. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by how dusty everything was; you could see the dust particles in the air. It was clear that the room hadn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. To make matters worse, I found hair from previous tenants on the sofa. It was incredibly off-putting and made me question the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. The towels looked so dirty that after showering I opted for drying myself with paper towels instead. Only stayed one night, nonetheless the dust was so overwhelming that I ended up getting sick during my vacation. I can’t express how disappointed I am; a clean environment is fundamental for any hotel experience, and this place failed miserably on that front. If you value cleanliness and a healthy stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This hotel may look decent at first glance, but the lack of attention to cleanliness makes it a hard pass for me. When I mentioned this issues to the reception all they told was to send an email to corporate. Again extremely disappointed. Expedia should definitely not have this as a VIP property.

Last minute booking in Griffin town had many conveniences such as kitchen and laundry and allowed a comfortable night sleep. We got suite 1103 which was smaller than in the photos and faced a busy road which was noisy. The electronic key did not work reliably and there was no AC in the bedroom so I wouldn't stay here in the warm months.

Would stay here again. Great location. FYI master bedroom has no door, only a curtain. Weird. Bare bones but again for location it’s worth it. Sofa is very uncomfortable. Fitted sheets would be a good idea. Otherwise bed is comfortable. No curtains so feel exposed, need to keep blinds down

Had a decent stay here. Digital check in was easy. We met the employee who gave us a keycard since their cardless system wasn’t working. Texted them when we were on our way and then when we arrived. Took no time at all to meet them. The room itself is fine. Modern and has enough space. Nice view of the Five Roses sign. Kitchen was spotless. The tv didn’t really work though, and the bathroom has seen better days. Very bad patching jobs where the towel hook had fallen out and someone had clearly locked a dog in the bathroom at some point as there were scratch marks around the door. Mold issues as well around the shower and sink. Not the worst I’ve seen but I lived in the area and know how new that building is so that was surprising. The bed itself was a bit hard and the linens not the softest. But hey. Still slept through the night and it was quiet enough. Despite the deficiencies I’d stay here again. I love having access to a fridge to put my market buys to bring back with me and since I know the location it’s like being home.

Superb hotel with amazing views of the Montreal sky line. The hosts were super helpful. The only possible drawbacks were the relatively small tv (for 2024 standards) and a slightly displaced bathroom mirror.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable but more blankets or heavier comforters would be even better. Only one T.V.,which meant we had to watch the same thing. Couch not at all comfortable and same for kitchen chairs. Glad we didn’t have to spend too much time in the rooms for these reasons.

Reception was helpful and accesible 24/7 and addressed any concerns with ease! Would be happy to spend another visit to Montreal here! The view is amazing and they were more the accommodating during this stay!

The accommodations were awesome. Full kitchen, separate bedroom, great livingroom. Perfect! Communication was tricky - not able to speak with anyone by phone. We were going to be arriving late and they do not have someone in the office on a 24h basis. If our flight arrived late, and/or it took time for our bags to arrive at baggage claim, or it took longer to get our rental car, we could have ended up locked out. The reservation and digital key doesn't tell you which room you're in. Also, all the street parking was occupied and there's no way to get into the onsite garage for the first time without seeing someone at the office first. We found these aspects stressful but everything else was great.

WERFY provided us with an excellent accommodation, beautiful apartment with great views across the city and the port area. It is walkable and close to the city and the old port area. The size of the apartment is large and the 24-hour front desk at the 4th floor was very useful and helpful. The staff members at WERFY were polite and eager to help.

This place is a total scam. We booked a “city view” room through Expedia — what we got was a dirty, ground-level apartment with no view, no curtains in the living room, and zero privacy. There were spider webs, no parking, and filthy windows. But worse — when we asked for help, no one answered for hours, their is no reception. When we finally reached the manager, he screamed at us, cursed, and told us he wouldn’t refund anything or talk to Expedia. We felt unsafe and had to leave that night and book a new hotel. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s all fake reviews, just a trap. I hope Expedia takes this place down, i reported them as well.

This is a hotel that a company or time share have blocked rooms for rental. The only time a person is in sight is at 4:00 pm every night, which is check-in time. The people at the desk work for the hotel & tell you, you have to call Werfy Luxury Appartments for your needs. I spilt something on the elevator & had asked the front desk for paper towels or a cloth to clean it up & they would not help me. After all, guest use their hotel also & you would think they would help you with something like that. We arrived a couple of hours early & had to pay an extra $100 for early check-in. We sat in our car for an hour waiting for a call back or message. Then I realized that if you wanted any additional service you had to make an electronic payment thru their link before you get any response. By the time I was notified that I could get in my room it cost me $100 for an extra hour. I have stayed in plenty of hotels out of the country & have never been charged for arriving an hour or two early. Rooms are clean & provide you with everything you have at home, except for tissues. The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute ride to both downtown & the old port. All of the restaurants we saw in the area were mostly pizza, subs & fast food. We spent our time in the Old City & loved the area. That is where we will stay the next time.

Firstly, I would not describe the property as luxury. It was slightly dated. However, it was clean, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The washing machine and tumbledryer were put to good use. 4ft 6inch comfy bed and pillows were comfy too. A good 20/25minute walk to get to Downtown and Old Town. Bus stops are nearby though.

This is a newer property that has very nicely designed apartments for short to medium-term stays at reasonable prices for that location. The apartment is 20-minutes walk from old Montreal and 45-minutes walk from downtown Montreal with a lot of amenities nearby. The neighborhood is mainly young people attending universities nearby. In addition, unlike most similar places, the apartment has 24-hour service with very helpful staff.

The location in Griffintown is great. The hotel is an apartment building converted. The room I’ll be at small, is quiet with a nice view. The Aircon unit is a bit confusing. However, it works well. The garage parking has two elevators, and staff needs to tell us clients better which lift to use. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

This was a fabulous location, walking distance to all the major sites & restaurants. We stayed in the 14th floor so the view was incredible. Kitchen nicely stocked & place was perfect for 3 of us!

They charge $50 extra for a crib. If you have a car, don’t rent there. There are no public parking around. I tried to contacting them via the chat (the only communication channel). No response, even after 2 days. Tried to book underground parking, no response.

I will start with the sole negative and that was that it was not easy to find as the rooms are inside a different hotel, the only way we managed to find it is via a sign on the other hotel’s reception that mentioned it not being check-in for WERFY, so we took a chance and got in the elevator and it turned out to be correct. Better instruction and/or signage needed. On the flip side, the communication from WERFY is very good, so if we had failed to find it they would have helped promptly. Onto the positives, the room was immaculately clean, very big and had all the amenities we needed including laundry facilities. The bed was quite comfortable. We had a city view balcony on the top floor and the view was incredible. The area is very nice and very safe, located next to a dog park which was nice.

The hotel is as described and very clean, the rooms are large and we had balconies and views. Close to stores and streets were quiet enough. Communication was great but they could cut down on the amount of emails. We rented 2 rooms and and got a combined 24 emails which included previous messages that you can see until you click to the booking site. This made finding key code, WiFi code and other info really cumbersome. Some messages were crucial to register and others were noise. Luckily, they are very responsive and helpful on sms text and you can ask anything and get a reply in minutes. I would suggest the hotel to combine your messages instead of innundate our mailboxes.
