Pippo a Vernazza Rooms

A propriedade ra ótima, mas quando fomos pagar a taxa local eles só aceitavam e dinheiro e foram bem incovenientes quando falamos que não tinham mais em papel, somente cartão. Antes de propor cobrar a taxa do cartão foram grosseiros. Quando propuseram a taxa não nos opusemos e pagamos três euros a mais.

The staff was kind, and the place was clean, just very cramped. No AC either, so I wouldn't recommend during July heat. There was a tourist tax and an additional cost for keeping our luggage safe for a few hours after 10am checkout :// The location was ideal, though, very close to the train and very well connected.

This is a lobby-less hotel. You meet up with an agent who hands you a key and describes how to get to the room. It is located at the upper edge of Vernazza, on the road in. Very convenient if you have parked (as required) at the out of town parking lot. The shuttle ends right at the building. No need to roll your luggage down into town. It is on the 3rd floor, and has a very small elevator (you and a bag or two). No problems with the room. It is fairly simple and has the normal accoutrements. It is a short walk to the harbor. Lovely town.

Nice and helpful staff. Got contacted in advance to meet them at their restaurant for check in. All main doors had key code and the key to the room had a key box for storage. Very useful as I didn’t have to bring the key outside and risk losing it. Very comfortable beds and a cooling fan integrated in the ceiling lamp, controlled by remote controller. TV was supposed to be able to connect to phone for streaming, this did not work. Even though I was connected to the same Wi-Fi. All sorts of Italian TV channels though. Short distance to the train station and the Main Street. Quiet area in the top of the town. But some noise can be heard from the local street with the windows open. Good window screeners to block out light. Shower had good space and the room looked overall generally clean. Small fridge typical «mini bar» size. Also descent storage space for clothes etc. Enjoyed my stay, would recommend.
