Very colorful hotel. Didn't like strong fragrance in lobby & cannabis smell throughout property. Free water & juice in lobby was good.

Convenient location for concert at the Mann. Very strong, cleaning fluid(Fabuloso) smell in lobby and in rooms to the point that it would give you a headache. I need to ease up on the strength of the fluid. I first it made me think what smell are they masking. I had to prop open my door and fan the room with a pillow to try to get some of the odor out. By the time we returned from the concert hours later, it had dissipated enough to not be bothered by it. There was no other underlying smell that they were trying to cover up. Those were breathing issues will not be able to stand it. AC cannot keep up in the rooms on the west side of the building in the summer. Even with the blinds drawn all the way, the rooms were still hot. They have a staff member that goes around and turns on the AC units for guests prior to check-in. Water in bathroom sink just trickles out and faucet does not sit properly in the hole. Staff is friendly and they offer free juice and coffee in the lobby. There was no closet and no Safe in my room. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Gas station with Mini Mart next-door convenient for late night snacks but there is a security guard out front with a semi automatic weapon. Parking is free, but the parking lot is a challenge. If you have a large vehicle, don’t even try it. I have a Honda CRV and that was about as big as I would go in that parking lot. I did not feel unsafe in this area, at all. It’s brightly lit and clean.

The parking lot to check in was terrible. Absolutely no space whatsoever. Once you are checked in, you can park in the gated garage, which felt safe and secure. The lobby smelled like cleaning products and i mean this in a good way. There is a drink machine with free apple juice, orange juice and lemonade which my kids loved. Elevator and halls were clean and smelled nice. Only complaints would be the horrible parking to check in, and also they claim the rooms are sound proofed, this is 100% a lie. My family was woken up on a Sunday morning to the person next door vomiting violently for about 5 minutes.

The staff was polite and courteous and the rooms were clean. Only one working elevator. Parking was altogether awful. Few spots of which none were available at the time of check-in and extremely limited onsite. We had to park across the street at night, a highly busy road as well. Not sure what can be done about that with the limited space they have, but still a huge negative.

Zero parking, no water pressure, water never really got hotter than luke warm, phone in room didn’t work, no remote for the TV, hair dryer didn’t work, Key to room didn’t work/had to get a master key & door didnt fully shut. We wrre told they were going to switch our rooms or apply a discount/refund but never did.

The water pressure sucks and we had to parked across the street because onsite lot was full, but overall we were happy with the place.

Parking is a chore, only 1 working eleavator, staff was great. location is a bit away from the downtown activities. A bit dated.

I really wanted to like this place.. the outside is so colorful and the lobby is bright and modern, my 5 year old loved it! It also had included parking, which is a plus. But, the room.. the room had problems. First.. the door had probably a 2” gap underneath.. I had to stick a towel in it. Second.. stains everywhere - the chairs, the bedding, etc. Third.. the pillows were almost laughable, they were so lumpy.. the pillowcases were so big because they were just so misshapen. Fourth.. again, the bedding. My sheets had stains and the blanket had a burn hole (looked like it was from a cigarette). Fifth.. the floors were dirty - every time I got into the bed, I was getting dirt on the sheets. Sixth.. the shower pressure. Thankfully I was only here 1 night and didn’t have to wash my hair. Seventh.. the patches to the plaster in the room - if this was the only issue, I would have given it a pass for being in the process getting repaired. On the upside - the room had a Keurig, brand new big screen TV, it was spacious, plenty of desk and lighting options, and updated bathroom with a smart light mirror. But for me, at the end of a day, if a room looks and feels dirty - no amount of amenities can make me overlook it. Also, I was there from 6 PM on a Friday until 9 AM on a Saturday - I would imagine at least one shift change - and there was a pair of dirty ladies underwear in the driveway to the parking area just outside of the main entrance that nobody thought to cleanup.

THERE WERE BED BUGS!!! It bit me multiple times while I slept. And that right there messed up our whole stay. Once I noticed, I did not sleep. I waited until my baby woke up and we left first thing in the morning. If it wasn’t for that it would have been an acceptable stay. I called front desk at midnight when it happened no answer so I chatted with Expedia. I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication between hotel and Expedia but Expedia said the hotel said I had to leave in the middle of the night in order to get a refund. Which there was no way I was doing with a baby. They also said we could switch rooms but it seemed pointless. In the morning after checkout I called management for a refund. He said he never said we had to leave in the middle of the night. Said he told Expedia he could refund us. I called Expedia and they ended up refunding me the night. My arm is still swollen from the bite. Stayed on Friday August 16 left Saturday August 17d

We saw a concert at the Mann center. This hotel was close to the venue and an inexpensive uber ride. We also were able to order some late night food to our hotel. It was convenient location. There is an on site parking garage which was also a perk. The rooms were clean, comfy and quiet. I have no complaints. I would stay again.

The air freshener permeates the entire property; it's strong and it's TOO MUCH.

The room was clean and the staff was professional and courteous

Cigarette smell coming from bathroom vents, dirty/stained ceiling, musty smell from heater. Easy check-in, convenient parking.

Clean rooms

My room had roaches, there were blood stains on the sheets, mold on the walls, rust in the bathroom and O witnessed a fight between staff and another guest. No one at the front desk to request a refund and now the hotel is trying to refuse it because I stayed. Unfortunately I had no choice since I was from out of town and there was no one on location or who would pick up the phone for me to speak with. I will be reporting this hotel and don’t recommend anyone ever stay there.

Overall, it was a good experience. It's a fair hotel. The room is good, spacious, clean. The beds are comfortable and fresh. The TV was enormous. Outside the room, the hotel is a bit less shiny, but overall in a good condition.

Artsy, funky, fun vibe. Room was clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Air conditioning didn’t work very well so the room was pretty hot. TV didn’t have the ability to use apps. One of the lights didn’t work.

The staff members are fine, walls are thin. What really made it a poor experience was the bed and pillows. The bed is extremely hard and that's coming from owning a firm mattress and sleeping on a mat on the floor. The pillows barely have anything in them. It's very uncomfortable.

The place has been nicely renovated. But little things were missed. …. The ac barely worked it was muggy all night even though we left at 6pm and set it to 68 in the room. It was a high of 88 the day we were there. And soda machine in the lobby gave out very warm soda. But it was clean and it looked nice. Bed was very comfy but 3 pillows were given for 2 people and one was throw pillow sized. Nice big TV — but room wasn’t sound proof as stated. We could hear the bday party on the first floor all night. We were on the third floor.

When we checked in, we noticed the room had no closet, the shades were stuck in the unfurled position, and there was a bad odor. We complained at the front desk, and were given a different room. But still no closet to hang out clothes.

Property met our needs, a few strange things, floors not level, tall boy drawers self opening, bedside lights won’t switch on without the main room light?? Strange, lift had issues but were fixed quickly, was clean and tidy, pillows were very small

You get what you pay for. Right on City Line Ave which is convenient but comes with trappings of being on a city street. Lots of restaurants and shopping around if needed. Front desk staff very nice. The hotel itself is very clean but smells a little too clean like trying to cover up something (though I’d take clean over dirty any day.) Room was big, clean and decorated in a cute, kitschy way. Quiet. Beds comfy. Sheets soft. Only stayed one night. Average overall but right for the price.

Bedrooms are not soundproof, you can literally hear what others are saying and tvs at night. Room was clean , overall ok.

The staff was the best part!! Helped with everything and were always available.

Stayed 4/2025 Checked out a day early in time to receive a refund and haven’t received it yet. Called multiple times and keep getting the run around including being told it’s been sent on multiple occasions. Everything else was nice about the hotel.

The front desk staff is so great! Upon arrival he offered us snacks, drinks and water. It was an easy check in and we parked right in front. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. We were about 10-15 min from popular attractions which was great. I highly recommend this place!

Check inn was fast and allowed me for an early check in.

Not sure what happened but the trash from the previous occupants was still in the trash can. Matter of fact the room wasn't cleaned up at all from the previous occupants. I called the front desk and he offered to move me to another room which was good. Other than that everything was okay...

Staff was very attentive and cordial no matter time of day.

The parking was safe and convenient. The decor was very fun and colorful. It looks like a lot of work is being done in the lower levels, but the lobby and bedroom are complete and show lots of creativity, which is nice when all can't be updated at once. Our bathroom was completely renovated and lovely! As we were on the 4th floor and it was a busy weekend, I was not expecting awesome water pressure, but it was fine if you were not washing a lot of hair. The staff are super nice and friendly, and I think the inn is a great deal for the area!

Front desk staff clearly did not care about the guests. If you book a room for a kid and 2 adults, would there be a cot or something for the kid to sleep on?

Philly Inn and Suites was close to the Mann Music Center and easy to reach. We loved the eclectic decor and fun vibe. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

Parking awful. Fire alarm went off several times in the AM. AC was broken, blowing very light. Weed smokers in the parking garage. Front desk guy was outside sitting with weed smokers when I was checking in, I had to go outside to get him. Id like a full refund.

When we first arrived, it was a challenge to access the property having to take a left on a busy street without a true turn lane. The property has a guard gate that requires the FD to let you in by you pressing the intercom button. Parking was a little tight, but decent enough. Saw broken glass in the parking lot which indicated a vehicle break in. Did not give you a safe vibe. Check in was fine. We were there in August, the lobby AND the rest of the hotel was hot! I guess they were trying to save money. We entered our room and it was also hot! The room was very spacious with a small refrigerator, microwave, and a large TV. The beds were clean, firm, and pillows were not comfortable. The water pressure was low. And we found out on the last day, the cold was the hot and hot meant cold for the shower! LOL! Cold shower was refreshing as hot as it was. They had good internet service and there are several eating options in walking distance. You get what you pay for. Very reasonable for 3 nights in Philly.

Basic hotel, but very clean & exceptionally quiet. Our room was right by the elevator and we heard no noise. They have a small parking ramp on site, and a few open spots in front of the hotel. Making a left turn into the hotel is difficult in traffic, so changing your route to turn right into the place will save you time.

I like the property location because, in the immediate area are several dining options within near walking distance. And there is also public transportation that stops very near the hotel. There is an ACME across the street to purchase microwavable food to have in the room.

Thanks to Hotels.com I was able to get a great rate on my stay at the Philly Inn & Suites. On my day of check-in I arrived at the location and was unsure until I was up on it that it was the correct address. The exterior looks more like a corporate office than an actual hotel. Also, as the main sign sits back off the sidewalk it wasn’t until my ride share was letting me out that I realized I was at the correct place. As check in is at 3:00 pm and I arrived at 11:30 am, I was unable to check in as there isn’t an early check in option. I asked if there was a business center and was advised there was not. As there was not a business area I sat in the lobby area and worked until it was time to check in. Sitting in the main area, which was very clean, I realized that the pictures online, though they are current, they had to be filtered. The Philly Inn & Suites looks a bit outdated, however, it has undergone a recent pair face lift. The colors are very vibrant and inviting. However, the foundational structure beneath the colors and amazing portraits is dated. Once I was checked in I headed upstairs to my room. I got to the third floor and the same remained true for the living area. Vibrant. Great paintings. Older structure, new reface via paint. I loved the colored room doors as it puts you in the mindset of elementary school (for me it did). Once I opened my door, I was pleased to be met with a clean room. A nice tiled floor, and a huge bed. The bathroom was a nice size and

Decent hotel for a one night stay. Caught a show at the Mann and iIt was walkable. Hotel was decent and comfortable. Felt pretty safe too. Room seemed a bit dated, but at the same time came with some high tech amenities that stood out. Would stay here again if I’m back to see a show at the Mann.

Good value for Philadelphia. I needed one night to visit my busy doctor daughter and the Philly Inn worked great. It is an older property but they have done a nice job of updating it. The bathroom was completely updated, clean and spacious. The bedroom was also large and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was less than $200 for the night which was a good deal. The location was also good since there were places to eat within walking distance.

Negatives - kind of out of the way, there are only two bars within walking distance and they're both a little sketchy at night. Also it's on a busy stroad, so honking horns, motorcycles, and unnecessarily large trucks are a constant. Positives - there are tons of dining options and a full grocery store right across the street, the place is clean, the staff is great. It's not far from a train station assuming the trains are running normally.

I've stayed at this hotel three different times I've never had a bad experience. This is a low/no frills hotel but the rooms are very clean never found as much as a toe nail on the floor and I do check everything before I leave. The room was spacious with a TV with cable, AC, a desk and chair, and two living room chairs. The hotel has off street parking for free which is a major cost savings for those who can navigate the public transit system to get in the city. There is no restaurant or food on premisis but there are a wide variety of places to eat within a two block radius of the hotel. There were some small issues like the shower door opening seemingly on its own. But for me it wasn't even an issue I was concerned enough to mention to the staff. Overall, if you are looking for a value hotel that is within 15 minutes of center/university city (20 by public transit) this is one of the best values in the area.

Okay bed is fine and the bathroom yeah sure whatever. Firstly, there’s no room service so if you want your room tidied while ur gone it won’t be. Second, the room and entire decor of the place is overwhelming as hell. There are tons of bright colors and mismatched patterns it just looks like a kid made it. Third, the garden in the photo is a lie…it does not look like it at all the garden is on the bottom floor of their parking lot hidden behind boxes. It looks like it was placed just for the purpose of photos to make themselves look good that’s all. Fourth, the walls are thin you can hear a cough from down the hall. Fifth, the place is on a rly busy road i drove past it numerous times before finally seeing Philly Inn & Suites. Overall the place is clean and gives you a place to sleep if that’s all you’re looking for. I’d say it’s great if you’re looking for a place to stay for one or two nights other than that it’s not worth the money and the photos are completely catfishing you. It’s 9 minutes away driving distance from this quaint little town called Manayunk that is super urbanized and beautiful. That’s where i spent all my time cause really all that’s around the hotel is a weird sushi place olive garden and a busy road. (Also parking is hella limited)

My daughter and I loved the decor right off the bat! The facilities were quiet and clean. The staff was especially pleasant and helpful. The TV didn’t have the greatest reception, but the bathroom was nice! My daughter and I loved the mirror! The location was especially convenient to 76. As we were from Ohio and visiting Temple University, this was an ideal location for us. And though we didn’t do any shopping, knowing we were close to Target and a few other places was very good! If she ends up at Temple, this will be a good place for the family to stay when we visit her!

Very nice and clean. Runs have a mid century modern flare to them. So much fun. Walkable to many restaurants. And FREE parking. Friendly staff. A+. Was there for 3 nights.
