Green Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals

Die Unterkunft ist äußerlich recht nett anzusehen und die Dame an der Rezeption war freundlich sowie das Frühstück gut.Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und alles funktioniert. Allerdings ist die Ausstattung schon sehr abgelebt und in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen im hauseigenen Hotelrestaurant war gut, aber die Bedienung leider sehr langsam, überfordert und unaufmerksam. Wir mussten teils lange auf eine Reaktion oder Essen warten. Einzelne Fragen und Bitte um Zahlung wurden völlig vergessen, so dass der Kollege einspringen musste. Schade.

Staff were fantastic and rooms comfortable. Could do with a bit of an upgrade but definitely value for money.

The Green Hotel has character and charm. Currently being remodeled, some of it is in a shabby chic state at present. But I prefer that over boring and bland. The spaciousness was also a welcome change over tiny rooms. They do a great breakfast, serving both hot and cold items with plenty of choice. Their affordable price enabled us to go to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The cost savings was worth the extra drive. So, all things considered, we'd stay there again -- gladly!

Hotel in need of a major upgrade in regards to the bedrooms, (which are happening), as well as surrounding walkways. Beds were horrificly hard, felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Our room had ripped wallpaper, and clear evidence of mould. Kept awake by local seagulls making noise for most of the night. This would have been partly avoided if the windows had been double glazed and the wooden frames not rotten, and barely closing. Evening bar meals were ok, staff in the bar were very good TBF. Breakfast had a good selection, and staff were again very good. Overall, the hotel is let down by the quality of the rooms, staff were very good, but would not stay there again in a hurry, unless the rooms had a significant upgrade.

Staff were excellent and very upbeat. Made my stay more enjoyable.
