The property at the Alpenglow is perfectly placed in the heart of Whistler village,it is super convenient and it is easy to access wonderful amenities. The suite itself is dated and tired and could use some reimagining around space saving storage, a new (less nosiy air conditioner) and a toilet that flushes first time (instead of 4).

Great accommodation for our needs. Clean, well laundered linens and towels. Nice Aveda shower products. Bonus this place has a small built in hair dryer as well as a coffee pot and coffee, though this is next to the best coffee shop in Whistler. The only thing was the noise? The windows and doors seemed very thin; when people came home late at night or when the garbage trucks came by, you really could hear it all. Overall, pleased with what we got; location couldn’t have been better.

We had an amazing stay. We were disappointed that the pool was under construction but the location made up for that.

The condo worked well for our stay but as a previous VRBO owner myself, there are some items that would take very little effort but would change renters’ perceptions. 1. Fill the holes in the wall with caulking and paint over them. It’s tacky and unprofessional to have holes the size of pencils (actually a little bigger) in the walls. 2. The bed is an older style with box spring…I hadn’t slept in one of those in years…you feel every move your partner makes. Try adding a foam topper. 3. The only two sitting chairs at the small table are metal and hard and uncomfortable. 4. The cabinets need to be refinished. Even a light sanding and some stain would update them nicely. 5. Not providing any shampoo, conditioner or body soap is a pet peeve of mine. The lack of effort over what I would consider to be easy fix items left me unimpressed. The front desk staff was nice, the access and location were good. (But read the directions on how to enter the codes).
