It’s in a great location but it’s a mess and the place charges extra fees for towels? Parking ? And anything else they can. It’s similar around the area but it is a nice relaxing beach at least..

It was somewhat difficult to find the hotel, the reception is far from the hotel and they tell you that you can park in the public parking lot and it is not true. The floor in the room was somewhat dirty, but the beds and kitchen (study) were very spacious. The lady who greets you in the breakfast room is not pleasant or friendly at all. I give it a 6 out of 10

The hotel is an interesting concept. it is really a collection of small motels, managed by HBH. Check in at one address, stay at another, breakfast at a third. The complimentary breakfast was quite good. Bagels, cereal, raisin bread, coffee and fresh Florida orange juice. The beach was one block away. HBH rent chairs and umbrellas. Only two negatives. You need to ask for maid service. There was no phone in the room. Which could be a problem in an emergency. But I would stay here again.

Purchasing through clarina, I didn't realize the extra fees that the hotel has. The people at the front desk were not the nicest. They have a $100 on top of $19 a day per car. The neighborhood is not the greatest, but it felt cozy in the room like an apartment without utensils. But it did have a full kitchen, toaster, coffee machine and stove.

It was a reasonable price and convenient booking. Although, check in is not located at the rental they shuttle us to the main office. Address should be updated

Hidden charges. Expensive parking. Never mention on the reservation. Adding all the extra charges is better to go to a Holiday inn or Marriott

Check in took almost an hour. There are 26 buildings/hotels all owned by Hollywood Beach Hotels, the check in lobby is 4 blocks away from the Starfish in a different hotel. Parking is only guaranteed in one of their marked spots, I had to park blocks away one night. Breakfast is served in a different hotel two blocks away from the check in motel and from the Starfish, the entrance is on a side street so you must venture around to find it. The seating is outside, the food is served in a little room that is not handicapped accessible, when leaving we noticed they were storing and preparing food in the bathroom. The tables and chairs were covered with water from the rain, fortunately the weather was favorable and we didn’t have to in the rain. We had to clean our own tables as did the other guests. Our key didn’t work after one day, we stayed 3, due to their mistake, each day I had to go get the key redone, each day we were locked out, each day we had to walk the 4 blocks to resolve the issue, one day twice. With the exception of one staff member, they all were rude and condescending. We didn’t encounter one satisfied traveler, each complaining about the same things mentioned above. There are several hidden fees, read the fine print well. The room itself was old and outdated, not filthy but not clean. There was a short in the light, you could have either the ceiling fan one or the light on. The the room itself is inadequately cooled by a window unit. You’ve been warned. Avoid it

Overall amazing experience and would come back if I return to the area. The location is excellent for catching flight at FLL which is about 10 min drive. Beach access in 1 min walk and staff Angie kindly offered us upgrades and we had no hassle while Airbnb/hotel stay during the same vacation had multiple issues such as missing hair dryer while being 3-4 times more expensive and smaller size. Parking permit must be bought but it’s right in front of the door and convenient to access. Full size kitchen had no water boiler, pot, or utensils but since it was not included in original booking so I can’t really complain. The internet was very fast. Bed sheet / blanket was high quality and cosy. The management hosts multiple buildings in the area so check in was a couple of blocks away, but they have map and helpful instructions/tips printed out for you.

there was no hot water called the front desk nobody ever came out to look over the issues the tub wash dirty and the shower handler wash broken

The inclusive breakfast was very limited and the same each day- bread,bagel and cream cheese. The timing differ to what stated online, 7-8 instead of the advertised 7-9. Limited seating space, small area and short time. Definitely don’t cater to customers. Cleanliness in apartment was questionable with cockroaches seen in the bathroom.

We got charged extra and kept awake throughout the night. Couldn’t get the service desk on the phone because “the phones are down” when they were clearly working while I was there. Wouldn’t recommend anyone get this place at all unless you want to sleep with dead bugs and AC that won’t turn off.

Room was filthy. Had to clean and sanitize myself. I also did not receive my deposit back. And was told by the staff that it doesn’t come out. But it definitely came from my account. The amount of 80 dollars. I called several times only to get no one. I returned to the property and was told to speak with management. That wasn’t in at the time. I will be taking legal action if this isn’t resolved

The blinds were broken leaving space where you can look inside from the outside because there is no curtains on the back side of the blinds.

Downside was being on the corner of N. Ocean Ave. I heard the traffic all day and all night at the times I was in the room. Service at the office desk was great.

We was fine for a two day stay but the apartment are out of date and the charge a fee for everything.

The room was great and the bed very comfortable. The smoke detector beeped every now and then but not always. Would definitely stay again.

Asked for 100 Deposit and said it would not be repaid for 7 to 10 business days. That’s theft

Complimentary breakfast consisted of coffee, cereal, bagels and fruit with no actual breakfast meals offered. The room after examination had lots of cob job work done to it and was not very accommodating to me and the TV has an Amazon firestick with random people signed in. Bathroom also had an odor and was not very clean after initial check in. The hotel does have a store but everything is ridiculously expensive. Do not recommend. Keep looking if you're looking to enjoy your stay at the beach.

It was horrible Didn’t sleep the room has a leak The police was in the room next to me all Night long I got locked out of my room at 10:30 am When it clearly said 11 am Well. It was terrible I am exhausted the concierge laughed at my situation but end up letting me stay one hour later. Why a joke

Did not like having to search/follow singe to locate check in desk. But Maria at said check in deck explained all available to guest and answered all my questions. Great facilities and great person she was to clarify its amenities. Enjoyed all after settling in.

Horrible customer service at checking, the parking was more expensive than the actual room rate,dirty room, Horrible experience. I used to love staying there, now it appears that there's new management and is Horrible. Never staying there again.

The Good: Price, location The Bad: Expect $20-$50 in unexpected fees, expect staff to care less if you’re there or not, expect to have your deposit on hold for months after check out (literally there were multiple people complaining about this) Overall - this is a great place to stay just have your expectations in line with the price and inconsistencies that you will encounter

This is not a place to stay if you are looking for a great "room" experience. If the plan is to be on the beach our just out of the room, I highly recomend. We are a but adventurous, so we walked the beach end to end and then got a one day bus pass and took 15 minute bus ride to downtown Hollywood. Art Park at Young Circle was AMAZING!
