Room was not as displayed. Whole property was not as displayed. Hotel location was next to the mainstreet of Rosarito. Very load noises all night and room was not sound proof from outside. There were misquitos in room. Strong funny smell in small hallway leading to the room, this was not cleaning supply smell. It gave me nausea and a headache. There were drunk people trying to open my door in the middle of the night and being loud and agressive outside. I only slept for 2 or 3 hrs in my stay. TV channels on tv did not work. Pool was very small. Jucuzzi only pumped cold water. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is not safe, clean and no security on premises. I was cheated out of my money.

Didn't like any thing, was dirty, toilet sit broken, no window screen so was full of mosquitoes , big dead cucarach in the bathroom, carpet so dirty that we have to ware shoes all the time

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! The room was NOTHING like the pictures. We found hairs on the floors, towels, pillowcases, we had no AC or even a swamp in there , the bed was nothing as it was advertised on expedia (yes i read every single thing on there) countertops were dirty, i bought disinfectant in a store nearby and on the first wipe SO much dirt came out . I opened a drawer and there was an empty juice bottle in there. Laying on the bed made us itchy. A broken window was covered by a large mirror. Tvs did not turn on or work with WIFI. Mold everywhere, toilet papers looked as if they fell in water then left to dry. f you are thinking of just booking and thugging it out i recommend you NOTto. Very uncomfortably stay.I very politely went up to the office lady and told her that the room was nothing as advertised and sadly she couldnt do much. She and the cleaning crew were the sweetest. She explained to me that its not the first time customers come up and complain and she told me that its not her in control of the pictures being put up. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!

When we got there, no WiFi was available, no toilet paper on site or towels. We couldn’t turn the tv on as we were given two controls even tho we kept pressing the on and off button. Will not be staying here again m.

Booked our room in advance and since the systems went down, they over booked and gave our rooms away even after we came in early before check in to confirm our rooms. The girl at the front desk was no help at all and just had an attitude the whole time. She was rude and unprofessional. After a bunch of arguing we ended up getting different rooms which look absolutely nothing like what you see in the pictures. Room was not very clean, we had to wear shoes in the hotel room cause of how dirty and dusty the floors were. The water was cold to shower.

I reserved a room at the Hacienda Corteza hotel using Hotel. Com online. The reservation said that check in was from 3pm -anytime no time limit was given as far as the latest I could show up for checkin. I attempted to check in around 10pm when at the desk/receptionist I was told that they canceled my reservation because at 6pm was the deadline to show up and according to them they sent me an email saying they had canceled my reservation. I did not see an email nor did I see on the itinerary that you need to check in by 6pm. This hotel used to have a different name because I stayed there before, but its now under a different management and name which probably tells me that customer service is horrible not respecting your reservation and the room was most likely rented to another customer at a much higher price because as we know money talks in some places. I share this so that you can hopefully be on the alert for hotels that won't respect your reservation. I definitely learned my lesson here. I got charged for the room and was also informed that I was not getting a refund. I don't wish this on no one please be very alert and do your homework with places like this.

We checked in and the room that they gave us was dirty. The beds had hairs and we asked the cleaning lady if she could give us clean sheets and she said NO because they didn’t have any. We went to the front desk and they moved us to another room. The second room was dirty as well. The sheets had stains and the pillows were dirty. I decided not to stay there and asked for a refund. We drove to Ensenada instead and stayed at another hotel. I have pictures and I will be adding them.

El hotel no enseña número de teléfono para marcarles,y también el nombre del hotel no es el mismo el cual uno reserva por la página de expedía ,no aceptan tarjetas de crédito o de banco solo efectivo y no respetaron el tipo de cambio y pago en dólares el cual se había fijado ala hora de la reservación pésimo servicio y la gente que llegó antes de nosotros se quejó de que el baño estaba tapado ala hora de hacer el check in y a nosotros no nos quisieron respetar la reservación que porque no estaban aceptando ningún tipo de pago por medio de tarjetas y se le proporcionó dinero en efectivo en dólares y no lo quisieron aceptar porque la tarifa IVA a ser más de lo que me habían dicho por expedía dimos muchas vueltas para encontrar el hotel pero el nombre es otro al que se nos proporcionó por medio del email de la reservación y nunca se nos proporcionó número de teléfono para marcarle y saber donde era exactamente ni por expedía se nos proporcionó el número de teléfono del hotel ni tampoco buscándolo en google ya que el hotel no existe y el real nombre es otro : hacienda de Don Luis y nosotros reservamos en : Hacienda Corteza y tenemos email que lo confirma. Pésimo servicio yo no se como expedía ofrece ese tipo de hoteles con pésima atención al cliente y muy mal estado y el staff.

El hotel no enseña número de teléfono para marcarles,y también el nombre del hotel no es el mismo el cual uno reserva por la página de expedía ,no aceptan tarjetas de crédito o de banco solo efectivo y no respetaron el tipo de cambio y pago en dólares el cual se había fijado ala hora de la reservación pésimo servicio y la gente que llegó antes de nosotros se quejó de que el baño estaba tapado ala hora de hacer el check in y a nosotros no nos quisieron respetar la reservación que porque no estaban aceptando ningún tipo de pago por medio de tarjetas y se le proporcionó dinero en efectivo en dólares y no lo quisieron aceptar porque la tarifa IVA a ser más de lo que me habían dicho por expedía dimos muchas vueltas para encontrar el hotel pero el nombre es otro al que se nos proporcionó por medio del email de la reservación y nunca se nos proporcionó número de teléfono para marcarle y saber donde era exactamente ni por expedía se nos proporcionó el número de teléfono del hotel ni tampoco buscándolo en google ya que el hotel no existe y el real nombre es otro : hacienda de Don Luis y nosotros reservamos en : Hacienda Corteza y tenemos email que lo confirma. Pésimo servicio yo no se como expedía ofrece ese tipo de hoteles con pésima atención al cliente y muy mal estado y el staff.

Room was not as displayed. Whole property was not as displayed. Hotel location was next to the mainstreet of Rosarito. Very load noises all night and room was not sound proof from outside. There were misquitos in room. Strong funny smell in small hallway leading to the room, this was not cleaning supply smell. It gave me nausea and a headache. There were drunk people trying to open my door in the middle of the night and being loud and agressive outside. I only slept for 2 or 3 hrs in my stay. TV channels on tv did not work. Pool was very small. Jucuzzi only pumped cold water. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is not safe, clean and no security on premises. I was cheated out of my money.

Pictures of the property must be old from when it was a much better and newer property. Workers of the hotel Live there which was the room next to us. They were having a very loud bbq right outside their room until almost midnight. I had to call the front desk to ask them to stop because we had to wake up really early to leave the next day. Property is old and not well maintained especially for the price. I had suggested it to take that asked where my friends and I were staying when we went for a birthday celebration. I booked it based on the location and the pictures which was a very embarrassing mistake.

I was very disappointed with our stay. The customer service started off on the wrong foot because the front desk employee was rude and unwelcoming. My sisters, my niece, and I each booked our own rooms, but we were placed on opposite sides of the property instead of near each other. To make matters worse, we were expected to share a single A/C remote between our rooms, which was extremely inconvenient. The room itself felt stuffy and had a strong paint smell, making it uncomfortable. Outside, there were large cockroaches everywhere, which was very unpleasant to see. The pool also looks like it desperately needs maintenance and updating. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations. Better customer service, cleaner surroundings, and improved room conditions would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
