Elevator was not working. Pool was closed. Air Conditioner in room wouldn’t stay cooling

Plenty of parking .. easy access to food and shopping

I wanted a hotel with a pool for my kids, they advertise they have a pool but it’s closed and from the looks of it it’s been closed a while! I had some not happy kids!

Let's start with saying 'The Price is Right'. It's a cheap hotel. I travel quite a bit and this is one of the low budget hotels that I have stayed at. Rooms are very small, bathrooms are even smaller, shower is small and very slippery. There were holes in the walls that weren't patched, carpets dirty, toilet seat loose, exterior doors with signs that said they were broken, jacuzzi not working with a piece of plywood covering it, bed was terribly uncomfortable, pillows were cheap and pillow cases dirty, no bedside lamps, intrusive ceiling lighting - really the list could go on. However, the price was cheap so I guess what should you expect. The front desk staff was reasonable friendly except for the guy who was mad at me for telling him there was a fire in their outdoor ashtray. I would probably not stay here again simply because of the bed and pillow cases. If you're looking for a cheap place however, this is an option.

We had no hot water for both days that we stayed. Elevator was broken, and pool was not open!!!!!!!!! We have never had a bad experience with quality inn until now!!!!!!!! Absolutely awful!!!!!!

Will not stay here in the future. 2 complaints. 1.Room was clean but had issues. Primary issue was that the entire room was not level, but had a bowed depression in the center. I was floored, no pun intended, by the condition. It didn't feel safe and was not comfortable. Every time I sat in the desk chair I would roll to the center of the room! This third floor room should be a storage closet, if it is structurally sound. 2. Both guest ice machines were broken. And when asked if I could have a little ice from the breakfast kitchen I was told there wasn't any.

The pool been shut down since February still isn't open

The pool was closed. It was closed last year too when we came. Starting to think it's never really open. The room was filthy. Bathroom was not cleaned. The pipes screamed the whole time we took showers. A plastic bag hanging from the sprinkler on the ceiling. The carpets needed vacuumed and there was no hairdryer in the room as stated in the amenities list.

We felt like we were catfished! The pictures do NOT represent the “hotel” at all. Everything was out of order from the restrooms, to the pool, to the ice machine. The trash can by the elevator was overflowing with trash and stunk terribly bad. The AC wasn’t working well throughout the hotel. Our room was musty so we switched rooms only to continue to be disappointed. It was a clean environment or up to date. We promptly got a refund and left. This place should close down.

The pool was closed, breakfast was not there, took 45mins to check in, no hot water to take showers, broken bed frames, very uncomfortable beds, and very disappointing. I asked for a different room got told no i asked if i could get a refund or at least a discount and got told not was not worth the money to stay

We walked into our room & it was dirty. The bed was covered in all kinds of stuff, then we lifted the comforter & the sheets had blood on them!

Our first room had a cockroach on the wall and when I told the guy at the front he said yeah do you want a different room , which I had already paid and he didn’t seem like he would give me a refund of 105 dollars so I said Well yes , our second room didn’t look like it had been cleaned

It was all good till I took the sheets off and found boogers on the sheets and stains on the mattress protection.

While the service was nice, the hotel was not very clean and smelled badly. Our ac also did not work well at all.

Not clean room, leftover clothes from last person still in there. Floor was sticky in room. Front desk staff when brought it up to them were not helpful. Breakfast was good but they don’t clean up for awhile after breakfast is over so not sure how long food was out. Would not recommend unless you had no other choice.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to numerous issues. Communication with the front desk was challenging, as there was a significant language barrier that made it difficult for both parties to understand each other. The condition of the room was unacceptable. I discovered large blood stains on the mattress when the sheet slipped off. It took some time to explain this to the front desk, and once understood, I was told there were no other available rooms. When I requested an additional fitted sheet to cover the stained mattress, the employee was unable to provide one. I also asked for extra towels, which were not provided. In addition, the room had an ant infestation, which I reported during checkout. The freezer in the unit was unusable due to excessive ice buildup, and although I brought this to the front desk’s attention, no action was taken. There was also no hot water, forcing us to take cool showers throughout the stay. The continental breakfast was subpar and not worth the visit. Overall, my experience was deeply unsatisfactory. I will not return to this property, nor will I recommend it to others. .

This Hotel is disgusting! The smell of Marijuana was overwhelming, when I asked to be moved to the bottom floor because that was the only place that did not smell like Marijuana I was told no, because we had a service dog and 3rd floor was the only floor that I could be on. There was others that had dogs on that floor and kids running up and down the hall with dogs on no leads. There was mold on the walls, and the floors I mopped myself due to it being sticky. No other hotels were available due to the races this weekend. No screen on the windows and a lot of traffic going in and out of the hotel.

This property is beyond help. It doesn’t just need to be renovated, it needs to be gutted. The bathroom, furniture, everything is trashed. It’s not dirty, just so obviously worn out. There is an intense commercial cleaner smell that is overpowering. The sheets are itchy (detergent?), the AC smells moldy.

General condition of the property was just adequate, including the room. Desk staff was seemingly distracted. Bed in the room was large and comfortable. Heat/air was difficult to get to the right temperature.

The picture does not show the poor quality of the rooms, e.g. well-worn chairs, bedside table, etc... The bed lack a blanket. It was strictly a fitted sheet and flat sheet. There's a bed cover that I don't trust have been washed recently. We had booked 2 nights and left after the first night.

Old units with really old beds. Room had paint issues and no electrical outlets you could find. Breakfast was weak and not kept up, they filled it early and never came back to refill or clean. Cheap but very poor place.

Pros: - close to Lee’s summit downtown, and Independence/KC - easy parking - clean lobby Cons: - uncomfortable bed (lumpy and sank in the center a few inches) - only a sheet and gauzy cover on bed - had to special request a thin fleece cover. - the room below us had a smoke alarm sounding from 10:30pm-11:45pm the second night - guest courtesy was non-existent here (not the fault of the hotel, fault lies the clientele… from racing up and down the hall, yelling in the halls, slamming doors, and door-checking, it was not great at all. - the breakfast could use some work; subpar at best.

Bed was not comfortable, saggy. Place was noisy, lots of slamming room doors.

Pictures are not the same as in person. Beds are hard. Half done paint jobs. Chipped old paint. No phones in the room. Elevator seemed like it struggled each time. Smoke alarm started beeping at 1am.

Good for an overnight stay. The shower was tiny and no place for your toiletries, but I would stay here again.

The rooms are extremely muggy. There are no covers only bed sheets. The smell is musty.

This was the worse hotel I have ever booked through the app. No one was at front desk to check in for at least 10 minutes. Out of order signs on everything looks like hotel is shutting down. Did not receive maid service no clean towels had to wait again fir someone to come to desk and then he had to go find me towels.

Nation, clean, and friendly staff

The only thing we liked about it was the space in the hotel room. We got a 2 bed with a pull out couch for my husband and I and our 2 older boys. Only the two beds were small and barely fit my husband and I. They came with two thin sheets. There were a total of 6 pillows and we needed 8 because we all sleep with 2. When we asked the person at the desk for extra pillows and blankets they hold us what we had was all we got. I guess they expect the person on the couch to share or bring their own. They were just as stingy with towels. We had to bring all of the dirty ones down to get more. The housekeeper was nice enough to give us the extra stuff we needed. But the 3 different people at the front desk refused each time we asked for something. Also, no one ever changed our trash or cleaned anything in our room during our 4 night stay. I've never stayed anywhere that didn't at least change the trash. We asked for new trash bags and received one giant black one instead of the small clear ones that were in the 2 small trash cans. We ended up using it for our dirty clothes. I mean, if they can't accommodate ANYTHING then why bother helping THEM at that point? So we just put our trash in shopping bags and used the empty trash cans for the rest. Also, the pool was closed down, which we didn't see until it was too late because it was in the fine print. Breakfast wasn't great. Same stuff daily and barely refilled. Soggy muffins and frozen eggs. At least they had a waffle maker. Won't go

Staff was very rude, constantly had AirPods in and on phone and ignoring guests, Incredibly unhelpful, room service didn’t come every morning only the day I arrived and the day I left, and even then they didn’t clean anything, I cleaned everything and they took the trash bags, didn’t bother cleaning the sheets either

Employees called and canceled my reservation then were rude when we showed up to check in. Very highly DO NOT RECCOMEND

The front desk was very helpful & nice. The room was clean. Water pressure could have been better but no problems. They are working on the hotel. We will stay here again

Do NOT stay here! I booked my accessible room and then proceeded to drive 800 miles. Arrived and was informed that being 100% VA disabled and having a service pet was not allowed in an accessible room on the first floor. They were fully booked on the third floor (where they let “pets” stay. Their policy states that service pets are allowed without restrictions/fees. Do not book a room here!! He called a “supervisor” and the answer was still no! Currently 12:30am on Memorial Day weekend and writing this in my truck. My wife and I with the service animal in question are having to sleep in a parking lot. F@&k you Quality Inn!

Convenient location.

The location of the hotel was fine, but it is very rundown. The shower did not have a shower curtain, the hand towels had hair on them, the bathroom door would not shut, and updates are much needed. The front desk was friendly, but the same front desk clerk was there when we got checked in at 6 PM and when I checked out at 6 AM along with when I went through the lobby at 8 PM and 11 PM. He looks very tired, but he was still friendly.

Location was good and I felt safe with my kids. Furniture was very worn out. Floor was buckled in our room. Breakfast was not worth it. (I picked this hotel partly for the breakfast and budget) At $151 for one night, I feel we could have paid a few dollars more and stayed somewhere else that at least offered a bigger breakfast.

Great employees. The floor in the room was oily from cleaning materials I guess and left a residue on my feet the next day. Breakfast area was clean and stocked. The building needs renovations.

Both got up with backaches from the bed, had no hot water, & coffee was not good. Breakfast was just waffles & cereal, no eggs or sausage or bacon. We stayed at a different Quality Inn the night before which was excellent, so we were dissapointed in this one.

Just an average room, and well below average based on what the room costs were. Have stayed in nicer places for the room price. The breakfast that was offered was not up to par with other hotels I have stayed at. Had some cereal and had to stop at a breakfast shop a couple blocks away to get some decent breakfast food/coffee.
