My wife and I with 2 teenage kids had a wonderful 3-nights stay at Yabar Hotel during the Carnival/Festival week. We booked two rooms, and the hotel helped to arrange the rooms next to each other. This hotel's location is at the heart of the Cuzco, less than one minute walk to the main plaza, and 10 minutes walk to almost everything in Cuzco historic area. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a historical building, but with modern amenities inside, very neat, clean and cool, especially if you like to stay in a old historical house. By the way, if you get altitude sickness, they have oxygen bottle ready in the lobby, and will make coca tea for you. Loved the experience there.

We loved staying at the Yabar Hotel. One thing to remember is that it doesn’t have an elevator so you need to get your luggage upstairs if you are on the second floor. The staff was super attentive and helpful. My dad forgot his gold wedding gift and they found it and kept it for us. People are very honest and friendly.

A melhor coisa do hotel é a localização. Esta exatamente ao lado da Praça de Armas de Cusco. Há algumas questões que deixam muito a desejar: 1- o café da manhã é extremamente simples e é servido em horário marcado porque o espaço é pequeno para receber todos os hóspedes de uma vez; 2- o hotel não tem calefação. O clima estava muito frio, 11º, e a gente morrendo de frio porque não tem aquecimento. Pelo preço pago, acho que merecia melhores cuidados nesses aspectos.

This was the most amazing hotel! The staff were so nice, willing to help with recommendations, and flexible with breakfast tour hours. The only minimal downside was the lack of soundproofing. They have oxygen and cocoa leaf tea on hand for altitude sickness and other tea for reducing stress. They know the local pharmacies to go to for local medicine, best cafes, and anything else you may need. A

Breakfast was very limited, did offer cook to order eggs but not much else. Entire hotel is open air except for rooms so was extremely cold at night. Only heat was a small oil heater in room. It barely warmed the room. At least bed was comfortable and had plenty of cover. Had warm water (couldn’t call it hot). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel listing did not correctly describe the place. Was definitely not what I was expecting. I would not describe it as 3star! More like a 1 if that much.

Os funcionários do hotel são incríveis! Super atenciosos e receptivos, sempre dispostos a ajudar. A localização também é ótima, ao lado da Plaza de Armas da cidade. Contudo, a acomodação foi um pouco decepcionante. O Wi-Fi não funcionava direito, os chuveiros ficavam frios e a justificativa para tal era o alto número de pessoas tomando banho ao mesmo tempo, o que não faz sentido, considerando que estamos falando de um hotel. O café da manhã também foi decepcionante. Pouca variedade de comidas, bebidas e de pães. Além disso, as noites em Cusco são bem frias e embora o hotel fornecesse aquecedores, eles não davam conta do frio que fazia nos quartos. Enfim, adoramos a localização e o staff, mas foi uma estadia decepcionante.

Friendly staff. Big room. Two-minute walk to Plaza de Armas. Good breakfast. Guests should be aware there is no elevator but staff is on the ready to help with luggages. There is no heating in the room but portable electric heaters are available on request. Beds have thick thermal blankets. Creaky floor but it wasn’t a problem for us. Very good value.

Vamos la, quando chegamos ao hotel, as 15 horas, nao tinha quarto disponivel e tiveram que nos colocar em outro quarto, ficamos esperando por 30 minutos. Ficamos no quarto 011 no terreo, a janela do banheiro da pra recepcao entao o barulho foi absurdamente alto. Acima do meu quarto tivemos problemas todos os dias com pisadas, correria de criancas, arrastar de malas e moveis, a qualquer horario, 1 2 3 4 da manha e quando reclamavamos nao adiantava muito porque o piso era de madeira antiga, fizemos 3 reclamações. Por fim nao contem com cafe da manha, ate tem, mas, , apenas pedaço de pao, queijo e presunto, algo muito rapido e o mesmo sempre, bem precario, um dos dias foi servido ovo estragado. Por fim o que salva é apenas a localização e o atendimento. Encontramos um rato na entrada do hotel ao entrar o mesmo passou pelos nossos pés. Na saida, eram 11:15 e fomos aurpreendidos com uma ligacao pedindo para sairmos do quarto imediatamente, porque ele esta reservado. Nem 15 minutos de tolerância. Toalhas velhas e rasgando e hotel precisa urgente de manutenção.

Great location just off of the main square. We had a large comfortable downstairs room. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was a Continental buffet style which was good. The staff were all very friendly and Samir was the star who did everything to make us feel relaxed and at home. We would most definitely stay there again.

Location to the Plaza De Armas, the cultural center of the city, is amazing. Forty meters from the square. Hotel is in an original building, so you get the quaint feeling of original design, but that beings said, the floors are super loud when you walk. Staff were super friendly and the room was clean.

Café da manhã muito pobre, quarto faz muito ruído pelo fato de ser piso em madeira, o chuveiro não tem pressão e a água não esquenta. O atendimento é muito bom e a cama é boa, além de ser muito bem localizado. Porém deixa a desejar em conforto.

quartos amplos e confortáveis, devido ao hotel ser em uma construção antiga as instalações nao sao tao modernas. Tive um problema pq reservei 2 suites maiores e quando dei entrada me informaram que pelo valor só iam me entregar uma e a outra seria inferior, nao tive opção pq estava lotado. a iluminação deve melhorar, quartos escuros. porem a localização do hotel é otima, cafe da manha limitado e pouquissimas opções.

I made a booking for 1 night last minute as I decided to stay 1 extra night in Cusco. The location couldn't be better, just a few steps away from Plaza de Armas, but it was not facing the square so it was noy too noisy at night. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. Unfortunately I could not try the breakfast as I had to check out very early to catch my flight. The receptionists were friendly, they also booked a taxi to the airport for me. I would stay again.

Cafe da manhã ok, bem limitado mas tem um ponto muito positivo do ovo e omelete ser feito na hora. Atendimento excelente e localização extraordinária. Ponto negativo forte fica por conta do barulho do piso de da cama, são muito antigos e de madeira. Nosso vizinho de cima acordava 4h da manhã e o barulho era extremo do piso, vc acorda inevitavelmente, é necessária uma reforma. Outro ponto negativo a ausência de ventilação, nosso quarto só tinha uma janela pra dentro, sem ar condicionado. Por fim, sentimos falta de frigobar e secador.

Cafe da manhã ok, bem limitado mas tem um ponto muito positivo do ovo e omelete ser feito na hora. Atendimento excelente e localização extraordinária. Ponto negativo forte fica por conta do barulho do piso de da cama, são muito antigos e de madeira. Nosso vizinho de cima acordava 4h da manhã e o barulho era extremo do piso, vc acorda inevitavelmente, é necessária uma reforma. Very convenient location for day trips and walking around town. The staff was Fantastic! Mari cooked us breakfast every morning and was such a pleasure to chat with. All the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Any downtown hotel will be a bit loud due to its location, but earplugs work great! Cannot recommend enough!

The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us and give us a great experience. Room was clean and the location was stellar. They even packed us a lunch for Machu Pichu for free. The included breakfast was very good, better than the standard continental with eggs made to order or a pancake. Stored our luggage too!

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was pretty basic. I tried to arrange transportation from airport but it took many days to get a response and then they didn’t see my response to confirm the request. It ended up being cheaper for me to do it on my own

The concierge,Samir, is a complete gentleman. Very friendly, accommodating to all of our request. Helpful in restaurants and tour selections. Yabar Hotel is located within Plaza de Armas, the main square of Cusco. Nice, secure area with many shop, restaurants, pharmacies, and financial institutions for exchange or withdrawing of funds. I highly recommend Yabar Hotel

My wife and I stayed here on our journey to Machu Pichu. The whole experience was just excellent. The place was beautiful, safe, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and always ready and willing to help us in anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic hotel right next to the Plaza de Arms. The staff are amazing and went out of their way to make our trip truly memorable. Great breakfast to start the day. I’d have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

El hotel esta a media cuadra de la plaza de armas. Excelente ubicacion. El personal del hotel es muy amable. Siempre nos ayudaron en todo. Llegamos muy temprano y nos habilitaron el cuarto apesar que el check in era a las 11am. Lo recomiendo.

A great choice if you want to be in the heart of the action --- located just steps away from the Plaza de Armas (but on a quaint pedestrian side-street.) The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were comfortable.

Yabar Hotel Plaza was centrally located within walking distance of the main plaza, restaurants, and all the city's main landmarks. The Hotel had tall doors, was secure and had good amenities.

La ubicación está excelente, cerca de la plaza y de todo. Las instalaciones neutrales, ni bien ni mal, aunque la falta de insumos fue una mala experiencia (solo se tenía 1 papel de baño, ninguno de repuesto). El desayuno dejó mucho que desear.

Great location just off of the main square. We had a large comfortable downstairs room. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was a Continental buffet style which was good. The staff were all very friendly and Samir was the star who did everything to make us feel relaxed and at home. We would most definitely stay there again.

O que salva esse hotel é sua localização proxima a praca das armas e o atendimento das recepcionistas. Havia muito barulho na rua. O cafe da manhã era lamentável, consistia num pão, mortadela, queijo, omelete, melancia, suco e cafe. E apesar de varios passeios sairem na madrugada, o hotel nao oferece a opcao de levar um pequeno lanche. A cama de casal é minúscula! Nosso quarto tinha uma casal de solteiro, que usavamos como apoio. Porém l durante o segundo dia retiraram a cama durante o dia, sem nos consultar.

The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us and give us a great experience. Room was clean and the location was stellar. They even packed us a lunch for Machu Pichu for free. The included breakfast was very good, better than the standard continental with eggs made to order or a pancake. Stored our luggage too!

Breakfast was very limited, did offer cook to order eggs but not much else. Entire hotel is open air except for rooms so was extremely cold at night. Only heat was a small oil heater in room. It barely warmed the room. At least bed was comfortable and had plenty of cover. Had warm water (couldn’t call it hot). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel listing did not correctly describe the place. Was definitely not what I was expecting. I would not describe it as 3star! More like a 1 if that much.

Café da manhã muito pobre, quarto faz muito ruído pelo fato de ser piso em madeira, o chuveiro não tem pressão e a água não esquenta. O atendimento é muito bom e a cama é boa, além de ser muito bem localizado. Porém deixa a desejar em conforto.

El hotel estaba limpio y la atención del personal fue excelente. No hay calefacción entonces era bastante frío y además carecía de una estación de café o agua caliente o te en la habitación o en la recepción. Casi todos los días para cada tour nos recogían a las 3 o 4 am entonces no veo necesario pagar un desayuno incluído porque en este caso el hotel no te empaca alimentos para llevar contigo.

Everyone is super kind and goes out of their way to help. Centrally located to shopping and food. The staff recommended lots of great places to shop and eat based on what we wanted. WiFi can be spotty. It was nice to be right in the center of everything. We happened to be there right at the beginning of June when the surrounding towns came in to celebrate the month with music and dances. Highly recommend.

Everyone is super kind and goes out of their way to help. Centrally located to shopping and food. The staff recommended lots of great places to shop and eat based on what we wanted. Breakfast was OK, but we were limited to one egg per guest.The only problem was that almost everyone in our group struggled with getting hot water to shower at one time or more (poor water pressure too). And the Internet, despite having four separate available networks, was a continuous problem. If these are important to you, you might question using this Hotel. If not, you will definitely enjoy your stay.
