The hotel was overall amazing! We had two rooms. The courtyard room was perfect. However, the street side rooms are noisy. The service was second to none. The breakfast was delicious! The location is just a block from the small town square and super walkable. I would definitely stay there again but would only book the interior courtyard rooms.

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. The rooms are super clean and beautifully decorated. The location is central and close to a large supermarket, restaurants & bars. The breakfast buffet is delicious with plenty of options. Easy parking. Everybody was super helpful. I lost my bag prior to arriving and they were very keen on following up with airline because I didn’t speak Spanish, until I got it back. Tomeu was delightful and literally the highlight of my friend and I’s trip. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful boutique hotel on a quiet street close to the heart of Es Mercadal. I wanted for nothing: a spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, an enormous breakfast, and a nicely stocked honour bar and fridge in the room (with reasonable prices). I loved it, and hope to find a reason to return.

A truly special hotel to say the least. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed by the receptionist with such warmth, and given a tour around the hotel and given as much information as possible about our stay there as well as recommendations of where to go on the island. The room was cleaned and replenished every morning meaning after an exhausting day out we could come back and relax in a refreshed room. During our stay we felt our room exceeded our standards to above and beyond with all necessities supplied. Breakfast in the morning was super delicious! With fresh bread, fruit, veg and other sweet treats each morning we were well fuelled for the day. We were greeted by the owners each morning for breakfast who made it their priority that each guest was accommodated for. Greeted with a smile each morning, it was wonderful to have great interaction with the owners , making the whole experience of our stay more worth while. The courtyard was never busy, which allowed time to be spent in the pool cooling down from the summer heat and to catch moments of peace from the hustle and bustle. A fantastic location to be central in the island.Many of our trips were 30-40 minutes drive to get to our daily destinations. Staying in such a wonderful little village,it was a wonderful experience to see the place come alive at night!With plenty shops and places to eat, it was a delight to stay in Es Mercadal. Thankyou for a wonderful stay! It made our holiday one to cherish and remember!

Enchantés par l’accueil et la gentillesse d’Esther la propriétaire et Tomeu, très joli petit hôtel plein de charme et très confortable, bien placé, parking tout près, village paisible et central à Minorque, idéal pour visiter les 4 coins de l’île 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay at S’Antiga was perfect. Starting with the decor and overall atmosphere of the hotel, it was beautiful and relaxing. The pool and sitting area outside was great for sitting and reading a book or taking our breakfast each morning. Thé breakfast was great, and the staff was lovely. So nice, warm and welcoming. They remembered our order each morning, which was also a nice touch. Tomeu was extremely helpful each morning, giving us advice on which beach or town to visit each day. You could tell that he is really passionate about the island and wants to share this with the guests of the hotel. This was really lovely! Our room was perfect, spacious, new, clean and beautifully decorated. We rented a car, but the parking is about 5 mins (a little less) away. It was very easy to leave the car there daily. The little town is very cute, although we didn’t explore it enough (not enough time !) and the location of the hotel is wonderful for visiting different parts of the island. Nothing we saw was more than 25/30 minutes driving max.

We couldn't have had a better two nights in a hotel. From the minute we booked it to leaving, the service from Tomeu and the rest of the team was incredible. It is an ideal location, two minutes walk from a carpark as well as the local square. The hotel itself is stunningly decorated with beautiful furniture and art everywhere you look. The kitchen has an honesty bar with a selection of juices, cold drinks and alcohol. We were also delighted to have cold water, sparkling water and hot water always available, as well as delicious treats left out each day. As we were leaving, we were already planning our next trip back. This is a must stay if you are travelling to Menorca

Un'atmosfera perfetta. A partire dalla posizione, in una tipica via del borgo di Es Mercadal, a 150 metri dalla piazza centrale, il fulcro della vita del paese. Appena entrati ci si trova a casa, con luci soft e arredamento elegante ma non sfarzoso, aria piacevolmente climatizzata e ottima musica di sottofondo. Ci accoglie Tomeu, con cordialità e grande professionalità, illustrandoci le dotazioni dell'hotel e mostrandoci la nostra bella camera al pian terreno. Siamo rimasti 12 giorni, apprezzando le ottime colazioni (preparate da Ester, la proprietaria del S'Antiga), il patio con piccola piscina, il silenzio della struttura e la comodità di ristoranti, tapas bar, negozi poco distanti dall'uscio di casa. Es Mercadal è proprio al centro di Menorca, ai piedi della sua montagna più alta, El Toro. L'abbiamo scelto per poter da qui partire ogni giorno verso una direzione diversa e conoscere quanto più possibile dell'isola. Il S'Antiga è un'oasi super confortevole, di classe, che mia moglie ed io ci sentiamo di consigliare caldamente a chi desidera una vacanza attiva, di scoperta, senza rinunciare al piacere di una residenza accogliente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Torneremo senz'altro, magari in primavera, per percorrere alcune tappe del Camì de Cavalls con un clima più adatto al trekking. Gracias y... adiós.

Excellent brand new hotel very close to the town centre. The owner and staff are so friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. Hotel and room was spotless and very comfortable with a delicious breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend. Looking forward to coming back soon! Tony

Hôtels agréable , très propre , la décoration est magnifique , je recommande cette hôtel. Juste une petite suggestions , mettre des pichets de jus dorange a disposition car demandé a chaque fois au personnel est peu compliqué pardois. Siin rien a dire .

Amazing boutique hotel. The staff goes above and beyond for you, they're so nice and have the best recommendations. My only tip would be to ask for a room that's not on the first floor, because you hear a bit of noice in the mornings.

Véritable petit hôtel de charme, dès l'entrée nous sommes senti bien, un acceuil chaleureux. La chambre est très confortable et décorée avec goût, de même pour les espaces communs. Un petit déjeuner varié avec de bons produits. Un séjour très agréable avec des hôtes aux petits soins. Merci à eux.

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. The rooms are super clean and beautifully decorated. The location is central and close to a large supermarket, restaurants & bars. The breakfast buffet is delicious with plenty of options. Easy parking. Everybody was super helpful. I lost my bag prior to arriving and they were very keen on following up with airline because I didn’t speak Spanish, until I got it back. Tomeu was delightful and literally the highlight of my friend and I’s trip. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful boutique hotel on a quiet street close to the heart of Es Mercadal. I wanted for nothing: a spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, an enormous breakfast, and a nicely stocked honour bar and fridge in the room (with reasonable prices). I loved it, and hope to find a reason to return.

Our stay at S’Antiga was perfect. Starting with the decor and overall atmosphere of the hotel, it was beautiful and relaxing. The pool and sitting area outside was great for sitting and reading a book or taking our breakfast each morning. Thé breakfast was great, and the staff was lovely. So nice, warm and welcoming. They remembered our order each morning, which was also a nice touch. Tomeu was extremely helpful each morning, giving us advice on which beach or town to visit each day. You could tell that he is really passionate about the island and wants to share this with the guests of the hotel. This was really lovely! Our room was perfect, spacious, new, clean and beautifully decorated. We rented a car, but the parking is about 5 mins (a little less) away. It was very easy to leave the car there daily. The little town is very cute, although we didn’t explore it enough (not enough time !) and the location of the hotel is wonderful for visiting different parts of the island. Nothing we saw was more than 25/30 minutes driving max.

A truly special hotel to say the least. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed by the receptionist with such warmth, and given a tour around the hotel and given as much information as possible about our stay there as well as recommendations of where to go on the island. The room was cleaned and replenished every morning meaning after an exhausting day out we could come back and relax in a refreshed room. During our stay we felt our room exceeded our standards to above and beyond with all necessities supplied. Breakfast in the morning was super delicious! With fresh bread, fruit, veg and other sweet treats each morning we were well fuelled for the day. We were greeted by the owners each morning for breakfast who made it their priority that each guest was accommodated for. Greeted with a smile each morning, it was wonderful to have great interaction with the owners , making the whole experience of our stay more worth while. The courtyard was never busy, which allowed time to be spent in the pool cooling down from the summer heat and to catch moments of peace from the hustle and bustle. A fantastic location to be central in the island.Many of our trips were 30-40 minutes drive to get to our daily destinations. Staying in such a wonderful little village,it was a wonderful experience to see the place come alive at night!With plenty shops and places to eat, it was a delight to stay in Es Mercadal. Thankyou for a wonderful stay! It made our holiday one to cherish and remember!

We couldn't have had a better two nights in a hotel. From the minute we booked it to leaving, the service from Tomeu and the rest of the team was incredible. It is an ideal location, two minutes walk from a carpark as well as the local square. The hotel itself is stunningly decorated with beautiful furniture and art everywhere you look. The kitchen has an honesty bar with a selection of juices, cold drinks and alcohol. We were also delighted to have cold water, sparkling water and hot water always available, as well as delicious treats left out each day. As we were leaving, we were already planning our next trip back. This is a must stay if you are travelling to Menorca

The hotel was overall amazing! We had two rooms. The courtyard room was perfect. However, the street side rooms are noisy. The service was second to none. The breakfast was delicious! The location is just a block from the small town square and super walkable. I would definitely stay there again but would only book the interior courtyard rooms.

Un'atmosfera perfetta. A partire dalla posizione, in una tipica via del borgo di Es Mercadal, a 150 metri dalla piazza centrale, il fulcro della vita del paese. Appena entrati ci si trova a casa, con luci soft e arredamento elegante ma non sfarzoso, aria piacevolmente climatizzata e ottima musica di sottofondo. Ci accoglie Tomeu, con cordialità e grande professionalità, illustrandoci le dotazioni dell'hotel e mostrandoci la nostra bella camera al pian terreno. Siamo rimasti 12 giorni, apprezzando le ottime colazioni (preparate da Ester, la proprietaria del S'Antiga), il patio con piccola piscina, il silenzio della struttura e la comodità di ristoranti, tapas bar, negozi poco distanti dall'uscio di casa. Es Mercadal è proprio al centro di Menorca, ai piedi della sua montagna più alta, El Toro. L'abbiamo scelto per poter da qui partire ogni giorno verso una direzione diversa e conoscere quanto più possibile dell'isola. Il S'Antiga è un'oasi super confortevole, di classe, che mia moglie ed io ci sentiamo di consigliare caldamente a chi desidera una vacanza attiva, di scoperta, senza rinunciare al piacere di una residenza accogliente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Torneremo senz'altro, magari in primavera, per percorrere alcune tappe del Camì de Cavalls con un clima più adatto al trekking. Gracias y... adiós.

The hotel was overall amazing! We had two rooms. The courtyard room was perfect. However, the street side rooms are noisy. The service was second to none. The breakfast was delicious! The location is just a block from the small town square and super walkable. I would definitely stay there again but would only book the interior courtyard rooms.

Véritable petit hôtel de charme, dès l'entrée nous sommes senti bien, un acceuil chaleureux. La chambre est très confortable et décorée avec goût, de même pour les espaces communs. Un petit déjeuner varié avec de bons produits. Un séjour très agréable avec des hôtes aux petits soins. Merci à eux.

Wonderful boutique hotel on a quiet street close to the heart of Es Mercadal. I wanted for nothing: a spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, an enormous breakfast, and a nicely stocked honour bar and fridge in the room (with reasonable prices). I loved it, and hope to find a reason to return.

A truly special hotel to say the least. On arrival we were greeted and welcomed by the receptionist with such warmth, and given a tour around the hotel and given as much information as possible about our stay there as well as recommendations of where to go on the island. The room was cleaned and replenished every morning meaning after an exhausting day out we could come back and relax in a refreshed room. During our stay we felt our room exceeded our standards to above and beyond with all necessities supplied. Breakfast in the morning was super delicious! With fresh bread, fruit, veg and other sweet treats each morning we were well fuelled for the day. We were greeted by the owners each morning for breakfast who made it their priority that each guest was accommodated for. Greeted with a smile each morning, it was wonderful to have great interaction with the owners , making the whole experience of our stay more worth while. The courtyard was never busy, which allowed time to be spent in the pool cooling down from the summer heat and to catch moments of peace from the hustle and bustle. A fantastic location to be central in the island.Many of our trips were 30-40 minutes drive to get to our daily destinations. Staying in such a wonderful little village,it was a wonderful experience to see the place come alive at night!With plenty shops and places to eat, it was a delight to stay in Es Mercadal. Thankyou for a wonderful stay! It made our holiday one to cherish and remember!

Our stay at S’Antiga was perfect. Starting with the decor and overall atmosphere of the hotel, it was beautiful and relaxing. The pool and sitting area outside was great for sitting and reading a book or taking our breakfast each morning. Thé breakfast was great, and the staff was lovely. So nice, warm and welcoming. They remembered our order each morning, which was also a nice touch. Tomeu was extremely helpful each morning, giving us advice on which beach or town to visit each day. You could tell that he is really passionate about the island and wants to share this with the guests of the hotel. This was really lovely! Our room was perfect, spacious, new, clean and beautifully decorated. We rented a car, but the parking is about 5 mins (a little less) away. It was very easy to leave the car there daily. The little town is very cute, although we didn’t explore it enough (not enough time !) and the location of the hotel is wonderful for visiting different parts of the island. Nothing we saw was more than 25/30 minutes driving max.
