Nice hotel strategically located. Close to restaurants and pubs you can reach by walk. Rich breakfast. Room is well maintained, maybe just small space (bathroom and shower). One suggestion: gym needs a little improvement.

Great place to stay. Was perfect for me and my partner and so cheap ! Looked beautiful in and out and was very pleased about the gym access and cafe. We had to leave the hotel early but the flight wasn't till evening and they held onto our bags for us so we could carry on exploring. Great staff that were there all around the clock and just overall a positive experience!

Great, reasonably-priced hotel within walking distance of most of the action in Athens! My wife and I walked to the Parthenon from our hotel, then after dinner ventured to Ermou Street before returning to our hotel late. The hotel has really tiny elevators - you barely fit with any luggage - but that's not a huge deal to me. The room was small but clean, and had a little balcony that overlooked the street below. The staff was very friendly and helpful! For the price, we'd definitely stay here again in the future!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are small however, so I would not recommend for 3 people (the comfort room is listed for 3, but it is very tight). Also, the rooftop bar is not at this location, so you have to walk to the sister location to access it.

Lovely hotel, clean, super comfortable, and quiet even though it's very close to all the action. Just one problem: as someone excited about the fact they have a gym, there is no workout bench and half the weights were missing. If they can replace the weights and include a bench -- which you need for several weight lifting moves -- it would be a perfect place.

NLH was in a good central location, but be aware that many of the advertised amenities come with additional charges, are misrepresented, or are at another hotel entirely. The fitness center is very underwhelming, the rooftop bar is at a location 10 mins away, and the “possibility of a free breakfast” requires an additional €13/person per day. Based on local prices, don’t spend the money on breakfast and walk somewhere else. The laundry service is very pricy and if you have any sort of sensitivities to fragrance, do NOT use. We don’t have specific allergies to detergent but broke out in a rash and had to rewash our clothes on our own expense. Bring your own conditioner as there is none. Rooms are clean and some staff are very friendly and have good recommendations. Just be aware of hidden charges.

Great hotel with fantastic breakfast spread well located to tour the sites in Athens. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and there's even a gym in the basement. I highly recommend this hotel!

Had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is clean, staff are very friendly and it's walkable to many of the main sights of Athens. I loved the arty feel of the neighbourhood. The street art and a few dilapidated buildings nearby add character, in my opinion. It is quiet at night and I felt safe walking alone as a solo female traveller. The room was fantastic. Great little balcony, comfortable bed and a rainfall shower. I also used the small gym in the basement which has free weights and cardio equipment, so definitely sufficient for a good work out. I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water and tea and coffee in the room. I'd highly recommend this hotel and would love to return on a future visit to Athens.

Room was uncomfortable. Big but with the worst possible layout so that you somehow had no space for luggage. The bathroom was way too small and had no counter space to put toiletries. Or even sufficient towel racks for 2 people. The shower was missing a door so no matter what you did the bathroom would flood whenever you showered. The gym was terrible—half the equipment did not work. And the equipment that did jittered so much under you that it felt like it would collapse any second. They also don’t provide anything to clean the equipment before or after use. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. Very poor value for price. The property is not set up

We stayed in this hotel for four nights. The location is excellent. All the touristic attractions are very nearby; within walking distance. Also very quiet, clean, friendly staff and provided delicious Greek breakfast. We had a wonderful view from our mini balcony. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel.

I have never felt compelled to leave a review about any property, but unfortunately this property has left me no choice. I reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights. Staff at check-in were quite nice, but it was downhill from there. Upon entering our rooms, we noticed stains on the floors and the beds. One of the rooms had fecal marks on the floor, one had blood stains on the floor, and two had blood stains on the bed. Upon noticing this, I contacted Expedia (who were extremely unhelpful in their own right). Immediately after flagging to Expedia, and within 45 minutes of having checked in, I spoke to the concierge about the issues. One staff member, Mohamed, came up to inspect the rooms with us and acknowledged the unacceptable condition. However, at no point did he or his colleague offer to clean the rooms or switch them out, and we wouldn’t have been comfortable with that arrangement anyway given what we saw. The staff assured us they would work with management to secure a refund. Astoundingly, management responded extremely defensively, suggesting that my complaint was unfounded given their 9.4 rating, as if one’s rating makes them immune to mistakes or accountability. They then accused me of sending photos in of linens that did not match their sets when I hadn’t sent any photos. That really upset me. The stark contrast in accounts between concierge and management is mind-boggling. I am very disappointed and do not recommend stays here.

Skønt sted - særdeles rent - en god rengøringsdame (læg et par euro hver gang) som man kunne tilkalde med det næsten lidt for avancerede elektroniske system! (Efter en uge havde vi stadig ikke forstået hvordan lyset blev indstillet på værelset). Dejligt med køleskab og lækkert gratis vand og kaffe. Vi spiste ikke selv morgenmad, men den så god ud. Vi anbefaler 7. sal om vinteren - sol og flot udsigt til Akropolis. På 6. sal har man skygge om sommeren, men kan nok ikke se Akropolis for bygningen overfor. Kvarteret var ideelt for os. En lokal ven fortalte at det var udlagt som nyt turistområde i starten af nullerne, så der var stor byggeaktivitet - men så ramte finanskrisen og det forklarer de mange halvtbyggede huse. Vi nød at bo lidt væk fra turistmylderet, men stadig tæt på Akropolis og med metro direkte til lufthavnen fra Kerameikos stationen. De gode spisesteder ligger på den anden side af vejen i det egentlige Kerameikos. Gågaderne omkring Salaminos-gyden var fulde af små lækre lokale spisesteder (fx Cachou) uden turistgejl. Krydsede man jernbanesporene var der også en skøn lille spise-gyde (Pellis) med endnu færre turister. For danskere: Kerameikos er lidt som Vesterbro - gåud-sted, centralt/tæt på seværdigheder, lidt råt. Godt til madglade førstegangs besøg i Athen. Exarchia er "Nørrebro" (uden arabere) = større, anarkistisk, intellektuelt og også masser af god mad. Advarsel: Både hovedretter og vin er altid til mindst 2 personer! (Derfor er mezze nok så populære!)

We had a great experience at the NLH Kerameikos. Check-in was quick and friendly, and we loved our room. The executive studio was huge, and included a very big terrace overlooking the city. We even had a glimpse of Acropolis from the balcony! The bed was comfortable and huge. Overall, we felt the studio was a great value and we enjoyed our stay. The amenities were nice, although we did not partake in the breakfast (it was an extra fee). My only critique would be of the cushions on the exterior patio furniture not being clean and showing signs of wear. The inside chair and sofabed were also visibly stained, so we didn't use them.

Overall an enjoyable stay for 3 nights, close to Psirri which is wonderful for eating. The only downside was staying in The Acropolis suite which is on the 7th floor. The room was so tiny that only allowed a king size bed, 1ft of walking space around the bed. A great view though. Thanks.

Our room had an amazing view of the Acropolis - that's why we booked it but the dimensions are tight. That's the trade off. Convenient location and it's great to have a 24 hour desk service in Athens, especially if arriving at odd hours. Many Athenian boutique hotels lack this...

We checked in for a last night in Athens, and it did not disappoint. The staff at check in were very helpful and friendly. The room we booked with acropolis view was perfect. The bed was so comfy! We loved the wrap around balcony which gave the best sunset view of the acropolis.

The hotel is centrally located and is walking distance to Monastriki, Sygntama (shopping/food) and Kerameikos (party) area We on and off stay on multiple nights and were happy with the quality , size and cleaniness of the room. One thing however was that there was no shower screen so water tend to split out to the sink area - thus needed to wipe off each time (1st world problem) In additional, is extremely hard to find carpark in the heart of Athens , thus should you looking to rent a car , u might need to take note on this

Great, reasonably-priced hotel within walking distance of most of the action in Athens! My wife and I walked to the Parthenon from our hotel, then after dinner ventured to Ermou Street before returning to our hotel late. The hotel has really tiny elevators - you barely fit with any luggage - but that's not a huge deal to me. The room was small but clean, and had a little balcony that overlooked the street below. The staff was very friendly and helpful! For the price, we'd definitely stay here again in the future!

Room was uncomfortable. Big but with the worst possible layout so that you somehow had no space for luggage. The bathroom was way too small and had no counter space to put toiletries. Or even sufficient towel racks for 2 people. The shower was missing a door so no matter what you did the bathroom would flood whenever you showered. The gym was terrible—half the equipment did not work. And the equipment that did jittered so much under you that it felt like it would collapse any second. They also don’t provide anything to clean the equipment before or after use. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. Very poor value for price. The property is not set up

Very close and walkable to major metro station, bus stop a block away, close to lots of restaurants and hotel security felt very safe. The area can look a bit sketchy but we walked around at 1am and nothing happened. This is a well appointed and modern hotel. The staff was exceptionally helpful and warm, especially George at the front desk who we interacted with at first at check in. The breakfast offerings were phenomenal and quite substantial. The area though up and coming is quiet, safe and in close proximity to a lot that Athens has to offer. I hold no reservations in recommending this hotel to travelers to Athens, especially business travelers.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Friendly staff as always. We arrived early and they took care of our bags and arranged for our room to be ready earlier than scheduled. During this second stay we walked from the hotel to the Agora and Plaka. Easy and scenic walk. The hotel staff arranged for our personal laundry to be made and a taxi to take us to the airport. All the services they provided were very professional. Would recommend to anyone visiting Athens.

We liked everything about the hotel except the location. It was in a sketchy neighborhood and we didn't feel safe walking outside at night. The elevators could hold only one person at a time with a suitcase, or two without luggage. It's in walking distance of a nice area with restaurants and the acropolis. It was clean and comfortable.

Clean and efficient euro-type hotel. The surrounding area looks a bit rough. However, it's a safe location away from some of the more crowded tourist areas. The view of Acropolis is excellent and it's about 15 min walk to Plaka and other tourist areas. There are great restaurants nearby and the whole area is walkable.

Getting to this property from the Metro definitely had me a little concerned on the way there. I had stayed in another hotel in Athens closer to the Acropolis. So that’s what I was comparing it to. However, once I got to the actual hotel, and looked past all of the graffiti, the hotel is actually in a prime location. You really got to see a different side of Athens, while also still enjoying all of the touristy spots. It was definitely more of like an artsy, cultural, area. I would definitely stay there again. I think just the expectation of really nice neighborhood streets, just have to be a little adjusted.

Unfortunately, this wonderful property is located in a scary area with grafiti and crime. Our car window was broken into at the Acropolis. The hotel has the best breakfast ever, worth every penny. We would definitely stay at the hotel again. However, because of the grafiti and crime in Athens, we will not return to Athens, and recommend you skip Athens.

Superb value for money - deserves to be more than a 3 star hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Location so convenient - 5 mins walk to Psyri, <15 mins to Monastiraki Square, <20mins to Acropolis. No trouble getting Uber outside either. Buffet breakfast had really good variety with both hot and cold options including eggs cooked 3 different ways! 1st floor even had vending machines. Our room had a balcony, decent aircon, strong shower pressure and nice toiletries. There was a kettle and mini-cooler. Surrounding area not the most aesthetically pleasing but we did not experience any safety issues walking back at night. WiFi could have been faster and more storage space would also have been useful. But these are minor negatives which were more than offset by our overall experience. Finally the hotel kindly stored our luggage after checkout. So a definite recommendation to anyone looking for a great boutique hotel in central Athens.

This hotel although isn't huge is nice if you are looking to stay in Athens for a few nights. The Staff was nice especially Sofia ar Reception, helpful and willing to guide you. Breakfast could have been better as it was pretty much the same options. The room wasnt huge but a nice size for a couple to stay in, plenty of light and i really liked the Sink and LED mirror in the room. Overall i would rate this hotel a 7/10

This hotel is within walking distance of the city center of Athens. The room was small but clean and modern. They offer maid service every day. One of the women at the front desk was not very friendly but besides that we enjoyed our 5 night stay. They have a nice breakfast with lots of food options for an additional fee.

We stayed in an executive suite and whilst it was a good size, had a nice big balcony and a large comfy bed, the room was quite basic otherwise. The sofa was very old and scruffy, the bathroom small (especially the sink) and the amenities were not great eg they did not even supply any glasses (just two tiny mugs). Whilst the area around the hotel is not the nicest, it is within easy walking distance of all of the main sights and lots of great bars and restaurants. O pessoal da recepção nao soube informar a vomtagem da tomada. Box do chuveiro só meio vidro. Cada banha alago o banheiro e o quarto.pegamos um quarto triplo. Alem do quarto ser minusculo . A terceira cama nao era cama e sim uma poltrona estreita que virava cama . Que mais parecia uma maca de hospital. Nao tem cabimento voce pagar por 3 camas e eles colocaram uma cama dessa!

The staff was adequate and the room was ok. The sheets were actually discolored, and the A/C was not terribly cool. Waste cans were super small. All the vending machines in the building were empty, which was disappointing. The balcony was nice, but the plants on the balcony were dead- they had obviously not been watered. Wasn't our best hotel experience.
