The villa was lovely with a stunning overlook of the Mediterranean. Jianluca and his family members were terrific hosts. Hotel Conca Di Azzurra is conveniently located 100 meters away and has an excellent restaurant, Calajanara. The villa is somewhat remote so a car is recommended. That said, there is a daily parking fee at the villa of approximately 35 euros.

Villa Ducchessa was a beautiful spot to stay at: the view of the coastline is gorgeous, the villa itself is beautiful and tranquil with a large private terrace, and the communication with the host was seamless. I would love to return! The access—as with most of the spots on the coastal road—can be a bit tricky. Parking is not included in the rate of the stay, which I think it should. The villa is located about a 15 min drive from Amalfi, which makes having a car necessary unless you coordinate (expensive) taxis beforehand. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Villa Ducchessa and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Amalfi coast.

On a scale from 1-10, this villa is a 11!!! Our hosts were fabulous and responsive to all of our needs and questions. They even recommended and made a reservation for us for dinner at a spectacular restaurant named Da Ciccio, which we also highly recommend, it is fabulous!! The restaurant even came to pick us up! The villa is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, fully stocked with everything that you may need and we can’t say enough about the views from the absolutely stunning terrace!!! The location is perfect and transportation by bus to all the towns is easy and convenient. We recommend if arriving by car to park it at the villa and use taxi or bus transportation since parking is expensive and driving on the narrow cliffside roads are slightly nerve racking for the inexperienced lol! We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay in the future with our daughter and friends. Thank you so much Gianluca and family for your hospitality! Our short stay at Villa Duchessa was definitely one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to this beautiful country!

WOW sums up this Villa. The Villa is furnished extremely nice and will make you feel at home including a fully furnished kitchen. The giant terrace is unbelievable with amazing views. We arrived in Amalfi by ferry and our host arranged for us to take a water taxi. We were greeted by Pierpaolo at the drop off location at the Emerald Grotto. An elevator will take you up to a parking area for the Hotel La Conca Azzure. We recommend porter service as there is a bit of a walk from the hotel to the entrance to the Villa including several steps. At the Villa, Gaetano walked us through the property, provided recommendations for our stay, made reservations, and arranged for free pick-up services to/from restaurants. Gaetano arranged for dinner at the the hotel restaurant (Calajanara) which was wonderful with spectacular views, food and service. Pierpaolo recommend Il Refettorio which is the Michelin-Starred Restaurant at the Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel which is an old monastery for nuns. The views are unbelievable, and the food and service were top notch. Pierpaolo arranged water taxi service for us to spend a day in Amalfi and car service to Ravello. Private car service to Ravello was well worth the expense for convenience and comfort. Pierpaolo recommended several must sees (Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rugola, Cathedral). Gaetano, Pierpaolo, and Gianluca made everything wonderful. We will definitely stay at Villa Duchessa d’Amalfi when we return to the Amalfi Coast. Thank you

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as a central point for exploring the region (Capri, Pompeii, Paestum, Ravello, Path of the Gods, etc.). Parking was easy. The neighboring restaurant was beautiful with friendly staff, perfect for breakfast each morning ( and a perfect first dinner after a day of travel). And the property itself, well see the pictures, it’s gorgeous - we all wish we had more time to enjoy it.

First of all, Gianluca was a pleasure to work with. A real gentleman who goes out of his way to be helpful and available but not in your face. The villa is perfect for 2 couples as there are two good sized bedrooms both with attached bathrooms separated by a living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with Mika, coffee pots, pots and pans. There is washer in the utility room. All showers are good sized. The villa is convenient to the SITA bus stop and the hotel 100 yds down the road sells bus tickets so getting to Amalfi, Positano and Ravello is really not a hassle. The hotel has meals and there is a coffee bar attached to the gift shop up above the hotel. Parking is available right above the villa. The walk from the parking spot to the villa is 24 steps. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no problems recommending this property. Clean, beautifully decorated and well located with an incredible view. Many thanks to Gianluca and his father.

The property is perfect. Two large master bedrooms and huge cliffside terrace. The beds are large and comfortable. The aircon works great in case you come during summer season. The kitchen is well equipped if you decide to cook in the, but hotel restaurant next door cooks amazing dishes. Gianluca, the manager, takes great care of the property and keeps everything in perfect shape. Check In / Out was a breeze. The place is spotless clean. Secure rooftop parking is a breeze if you decide to drive. The location is situated between the main town of Amalfi and Positano. Gianluca has a recommended driver to take you wherever you want. 100% recommended and we plan to return someday. Thank You Gianluca!

The villa was wonderful, pretty, clean, lots of pans and dishes for cooking meals. The bed was comfortable, couches were comfortable. The view is to die for! The only surprise was a 15 a night charge for parking the car, that I can find no previous information that the charge would be part of the price that was already an expensive rental. Gianlucas was wonderful to work with, answered any and all questions promptly, was always available.

we were traveling with our friends who had never been to the Amalfi coast before this look like the epitome of the Amalfi experience. we did not think it could be as beautiful as the pictures that there was probably some bait and Switch situation going on. but to our pleasure, it was even better than we envisioned. It was a truly a villa on the coast of Amalfi situated between Amalfi town and Positano. There was parking for a full size car. which is convenient as you would expect in a Malfi yet very usable and you felt safe parking on a Vespa, you could hit everything you would want to see in a day along the coast Pier paolo , the host was extremely personable and knowledgeable after all Amalfy in actuality is just a small town he knew everybody that we had met seven years ago on our last stay in Amalfi which was pre-Covid and he told me how everybody had fared. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know about pier and his beautiful villa.

We rented the villa for a week and had a wonderful time there. The house is very clean and renovated. I can be quite picky with accommodations but this one ticked all the boxes. The kitchen is well equipped and we had some great cooking sessions. Furthermore the view is great and the terrace offers you a nice place to relax. . Great place only the parking is a bit of a problem but they fixed it you can park at the hotel next door.

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi from August 3 till August 11, 2024. And I must say, the property is spectacular! The Villa was immaculate and perfect for our family, with breathtaking views overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The location is very convenient, with a bus stop at the nearby Hotel Conca Azzura, which also has an amazing restaurant with outstanding views and great food where you can get 10% discount as a guest of Villa Duchessa. Our host, PierPaolo was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation. PierPaolo even offered and helped us to get groceries delivered for us from the grocery store making our stay stress-free. Thank you for very much PierPaolo for be so kind and for your help. We certainly come back maybe next year!

This property is everything it appears to be online- the views and balcony literally take your breath away. The home is comfortable and clean with everything you need. The property manager is very helpful and purchased groceries before arrival and organized a private boat tour that was fantastic. The small town of Concha dei Marini is perched above the villa and a bit tricky to get to but beautiful and welcoming with a lovely restaurant and grocery. Finally, having the hotel and its delicious restaurant right next store for dinners and breakfasts makes this an idealplace to stay if you want to have serenity on the Amalfi coast without all the crowds.

Our stay at this VRBO property on the Amalfi Coast was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters and the picturesque cliffs that are iconic to the region.The villa itself was absolutely gorgeous – beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional Italian charm. The interior was spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with natural light. We spent hours relaxing on the terrace, enjoying a glass of local wine while watching the sun set. It was a dream come true.The location was ideal for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Just a short drive from Positano, Ravello and Amalfi we had easy access to the best restaurants and attractions the area has to offer. But it was also peaceful enough to feel like a private escape from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist-heavy areas.The host, Pierpaolo and his family were incredibly welcoming, gracious and attentive, providing us with insider tips on the best local spots to visit, as well as offering recommendations for authentic Italian dining experiences and arranging our reservations and transportation. I can't say enough about his responsiveness! If you're looking for a serene, luxurious, and authentic getaway on the Amalfi Coast, this property is the perfect choice. My husband and I stayed at the Villa during our recent stay at the Amalfi Coast. Communication with Pierpaolo was always expeditious and courteous. He helped organize a grocery order in advance of our arrival, as well as coordinate dinner reservations during our stay. His suggestions for dinner were spot on. The meals were impeccable. He always followed up to ensure we had enjoyed our meal. He was kind enough to arrange for someone to handle our luggage in and out of the villa. The villa was spacious, clean, and updated. The decor was very pretty. We had ample drawer and closet space. The patio and view were spectacular. I highly recommend the Villa Duchessa di Amalfi. We will return.

The villa is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and has beautiful views!! Gianluca was great host he had a car pick us up at the airport and was there to meet us a the villa and he carried our suitcases down the steps into the villa. He then gave us a tour. Then he took us to the restaurant next door. We had a great lunch with the best view. Anytime we needed anything we texted Gianluca and he answered us right away. We eat a number of times at the restaurant and always had a great meal with great services. And because we stayed at the villa they gave us discount. A few evenings we bought some food and had a most enjoyable evening on the terrace. We used a car with a driver to get around. Arranged by Gianluca. Our favorite drivers was Antonio he was very friendly, reliable spoke English and went out of his way for us!! We did try the bus once and I would not recommend it! Because of traffic it was not on time and very crowded and hot. We stayed six nights and we did so much but we all agreed that we wished we had stayed a few days longer. Still a lot more to do and see that we missed. We highly recommend staying at Villa Duchessa d’Amalft! Home away from home but with so much better views. Teresa Richard Linda Craig

We were lucky enough to stay at the Villa Duchessa d’Amalfi for a few days. The property is spectacular! Everything in the Villa was immaculate and the setup was perfect for our family. The views are breathtaking! The Villa is built into the hillside overlooking the Amalfi Coast and there is water for miles! The Villa is next to the Hotel Conca Azzura which has one of the best restaurants we had been to during our time in Italy. There is also a bus stop at the hotel which was very convenient. Our host, Gianluca, was the best. He meet us when we arrived and helped us with our luggage. He arranged drivers and restaurant reservations for us. He was so helpful and made our stay so relaxing. Staying at Villa Duchessa was like staying at a 5 star resort! We hope to get back there someday!!

The property is perfect. Two large master bedrooms and huge cliffside terrace. The beds are large and comfortable. The aircon works great in case you come during summer season. The kitchen is well equipped if you decide to cook in the, but hotel restaurant next door cooks amazing dishes. Gianluca, the manager, takes great care of the property and keeps everything in perfect shape. Check In / Out was a breeze. The place is spotless clean. Secure rooftop parking is a breeze if you decide to drive. The location is situated between the main town of Amalfi and Positano. Gianluca has a recommended driver to take you wherever you want. 100% recommended and we plan to return someday. Thank You Gianluca!

We rented the villa for a week and had a wonderful time there. The house is very clean and renovated. I can be quite picky with accommodations but this one ticked all the boxes. The kitchen is well equipped and we had some great cooking sessions. Furthermore the view is great and the terrace offers you a nice place to relax. . Great place only the parking is a bit of a problem but they fixed it you can park at the hotel next door.

We booked the Villa Duchessa with our two friends and absolutely loved the villa. It is just as beautiful as you see on the site with sweeping views of the coast from the terrace. The Villa is next door to the Conca de Azzura Hotel with a beautiful open air restaurant which we enjoyed several evenings. You can buy tickets and catch a bus right next to the hotel, which was convenient. We loved being picked up by drivers from the market and from the La Bontá del Capo Restaurant, which you must try. The Villa was very clean and comfortable, nicely furnished, and worked extremely well with two couples. The king bedrooms and 2 baths were on each end of the villa with the kitchen and living room in the middle. There was a utility room with a washing machine which was very helpful. If you like American coffee, you need to bring cone coffee filters with you - there are none in any market on the Amalfi Coast. We especially enjoyed meeting all of the family members and staff that were working in the hotel and villa. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our week at the Villa Duchess.

We had such an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely and large patio overlooking the sea. The home is decorated in a charming and fresh style. The hotel next door was extremely convenient for breakfast and delicious for dinners overlooking the Med. Pierpaolo was exceptional in helping us plan our days and making dinner reservations and securing taxis and boats for transportation to amazing beaches and restaurants. It was an amazing vacation and I would recommend this lovely villa highly.

On a scale from 1-10, this villa is a 11!!! Our hosts were fabulous and responsive to all of our needs and questions. They even recommended and made a reservation for us for dinner at a spectacular restaurant named Da Ciccio, which we also highly recommend, it is fabulous!! The restaurant even came to pick us up! The villa is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, fully stocked with everything that you may need and we can’t say enough about the views from the absolutely stunning terrace!!! The location is perfect and transportation by bus to all the towns is easy and convenient. We recommend if arriving by car to park it at the villa and use taxi or bus transportation since parking is expensive and driving on the narrow cliffside roads are slightly nerve racking for the inexperienced lol! We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay in the future with our daughter and friends. Thank you so much Gianluca and family for your hospitality! Our short stay at Villa Duchessa was definitely one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to this beautiful country!

The villa is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and has beautiful views!! Gianluca was great host he had a car pick us up at the airport and was there to meet us a the villa and he carried our suitcases down the steps into the villa. He then gave us a tour. Then he took us to the restaurant next door. We had a great lunch with the best view. Anytime we needed anything we texted Gianluca and he answered us right away. We eat a number of times at the restaurant and always had a great meal with great services. And because we stayed at the villa they gave us discount. A few evenings we bought some food and had a most enjoyable evening on the terrace. We used a car with a driver to get around. Arranged by Gianluca. Our favorite drivers was Antonio he was very friendly, reliable spoke English and went out of his way for us!! We did try the bus once and I would not recommend it! Because of traffic it was not on time and very crowded and hot. We stayed six nights and we did so much but we all agreed that we wished we had stayed a few days longer. Still a lot more to do and see that we missed. We highly recommend staying at Villa Duchessa d’Amalft! Home away from home but with so much better views. Teresa Richard Linda Craig

This property was exactly as advertised. Conveniently located next door to a hotel with a bar / restaurant. On the lower road so just a quick cab ride into Amalfi. Air conditioning was perfect , beds were comfortable. Beautiful terrace. Would stay here again

WOW sums up this Villa. The Villa is furnished extremely nice and will make you feel at home including a fully furnished kitchen. The giant terrace is unbelievable with amazing views. We arrived in Amalfi by ferry and our host arranged for us to take a water taxi. We were greeted by Pierpaolo at the drop off location at the Emerald Grotto. An elevator will take you up to a parking area for the Hotel La Conca Azzure. We recommend porter service as there is a bit of a walk from the hotel to the entrance to the Villa including several steps. At the Villa, Gaetano walked us through the property, provided recommendations for our stay, made reservations, and arranged for free pick-up services to/from restaurants. Gaetano arranged for dinner at the the hotel restaurant (Calajanara) which was wonderful with spectacular views, food and service. Pierpaolo recommend Il Refettorio which is the Michelin-Starred Restaurant at the Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel which is an old monastery for nuns. The views are unbelievable, and the food and service were top notch. Pierpaolo arranged water taxi service for us to spend a day in Amalfi and car service to Ravello. Private car service to Ravello was well worth the expense for convenience and comfort. Pierpaolo recommended several must sees (Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rugola, Cathedral). Gaetano, Pierpaolo, and Gianluca made everything wonderful. We will definitely stay at Villa Duchessa d’Amalfi when we return to the Amalfi Coast. Thank you

Beautiful villa perched on the hillside with a private terrace and ocean views. This place was stunning! It is located away from the main town & piazzas so taxis or buses are a necessity. That being said a few perks we loved: It’s affiliated with the hotel a short walk down. The hotel has a restaurant and ceramic store so we could grab breakfast, a cappuccino or a bottle of wine easily. That hotel is also at the Emerald Grotto so you can easily take the elevator down to enjoy it or jump on a water taxi (highly recommended over car taxi) bc it’s cheaper, less stressful and the views are incredible. PierPaolo & Giancarlo were amazing hosts!! From helping us check in (we were tired and hot) and the accommodated us early, to booking us an incredible anniversary dinner at da Ciccio Cielo to helping arrange car service - they were great and always made us feel welcome. They even sent us home with a welcome gift. Each bedroom is on opposite sides of the villa with terrace access so it’s great for family or 2 couples. The kitchen and living area we’re comfortable. Showers were nice and the views…. Did I mention the views?! The apartment overhead has a pet turtle that would run (she is a fast turtle!) over to see us as we passed by if she was out. My 8 yr old loves her. We got to see an epic lightning storm over the ocean! A few issues: Ants - tons of ants in the area. No fault of the hosts, but be aware. Thanks again! Hope to be back!

Fabulous stay! The hosts are so welcoming and accommodating from organizing hotel transfers, purchasing some groceries for the arrival, confirming boat trips, dinner reservations etc. I even left a dress in the house and they had it sent to me in Capri! They are amazing. Also, definitely take their dinner rec. It was the best service and experience!

The villa was lovely with a stunning overlook of the Mediterranean. Jianluca and his family members were terrific hosts. Hotel Conca Di Azzurra is conveniently located 100 meters away and has an excellent restaurant, Calajanara. The villa is somewhat remote so a car is recommended. That said, there is a daily parking fee at the villa of approximately 35 euros.

Our stay at the Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi was ABSOLUTELY perfect!! It was everything we expected and more! 🤩We were greeted personally by Gaetano upon our arrival and presented with a tour of the place. Sweetly introducing himself to our girls and including them in the conversation touched our hearts so.To be offered groceries upon arrival along with a personal shopper was a sweet gesture. We were also provided with the most superb photographer, whom it was a pleasure to meet and experience his expertise with family photography. It was simply a blessing to enjoy our morning cappuccino and evening cocktails on the GORGEOUS patio and garden area. What a privilege it was to host the rest of our family visiting the coast after our “delizioso” dinners at the beautiful hotel restaurant, Calajanara. At Villa Duchessa, the views from all angles are the MOST BREATHTAKING and, again, the hosts, Gaetano and Paulo, are the BEST! Paulo gave us great recommendations for our continued tour of Italy speaking of the best wine to taste and places to see of the areas we were venturing to next. Even an “extra look” for a lost item when we had left showed true the heart of the hosts! We are very much grateful for such an EPIC EXPERIENCE at Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi and for their hosts…my new friends from Italyyyy! We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Duchessa. The property and views from the terrace are great but what really made this a memorable stay was Pierpaolo’s hospitality. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He arranged all transportation for us to restaurants, excursions, and Amalfi which was really helpful since we don’t speak Italian. He was always available to answer questions throughout the day. True five star service. The villa is immaculately clean, we felt very comfortable. The bedrooms are big, good closet space to fully unpack. The bathrooms are also spacious. It’s also very convenient to be able to walk to Calajanara for breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and highly recommend choosing this property for your holiday.

Gianluca was great host he had a car pick us up at the airport and was there to meet us a the villa and he carried our suitcases down the steps into the villa. He then gave us a tour. Then he took us to the restaurant next door. We had a great lunch with the best view. Anytime we needed anything we texted Gianluca and he answered us right away. We eat a number of times at the restaurant and always had a great meal with great services. And because we stayed at the villa they gave us discount. A few evenings we bought some food and had a most enjoyable evening on the terrace. We used a car with a driver to get around. Arranged by Gianluca. Our favorite drivers was Antonio he was very friendly, reliable spoke English and went out of his way for us!! We did try the bus once and I would not recommend it! Because of traffic it was not on time and very crowded and hot. We stayed six nights and we did so much but we all agreed that we wished we had stayed a few days longer. Still a lot more to do and see that we missed. We highly recommend staying at Villa Duchessa d’Amalft! Home away from home but with so much better views. Teresa Richard Linda Craig

Beautiful villa. The view from terrace was awesome. Our host was terrific. He arranged a 4-hour boat ride for us along the shore. Helped us get groceries delivered. Gave us tips for using the bus into the towns. He also arranged for drivers to and from the train stations. We ate at the hotel next door for one breakfast and dinner. Great seafood.

WOW sums up this Villa. The Villa is furnished extremely nice and will make you feel at home including a fully furnished kitchen. The giant terrace is unbelievable with amazing views. We arrived in Amalfi by ferry and our host arranged for us to take a water taxi. We were greeted by Pierpaolo at the drop off location at the Emerald Grotto. An elevator will take you up to a parking area for the Hotel La Conca Azzure. We recommend porter service as there is a bit of a walk from the hotel to the entrance to the Villa including several steps. At the Villa, Gaetano walked us through the property, provided recommendations for our stay, made reservations, and arranged for free pick-up services to/from restaurants. Gaetano arranged for dinner at the the hotel restaurant (Calajanara) which was wonderful with spectacular views, food and service. Pierpaolo recommend Il Refettorio which is the Michelin-Starred Restaurant at the Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel which is an old monastery for nuns. The views are unbelievable, and the food and service were top notch. Pierpaolo arranged water taxi service for us to spend a day in Amalfi and car service to Ravello. Private car service to Ravello was well worth the expense for convenience and comfort. Pierpaolo recommended several must sees (Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rugola, Cathedral). Gaetano, Pierpaolo, and Gianluca made everything wonderful. We will definitely stay at Villa Duchessa d’Amalfi when we return to the Amalfi Coast. Thank you

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as a central point for exploring the region (Capri, Pompeii, Paestum, Ravello, Path of the Gods, etc.). Parking was easy. The neighboring restaurant was beautiful with friendly staff, perfect for breakfast each morning ( and a perfect first dinner after a day of travel). And the property itself, well see the pictures, it’s gorgeous - we all wish we had more time to enjoy it.

The property is perfect. Two large master bedrooms and huge cliffside terrace. The beds are large and comfortable. The aircon works great in case you come during summer season. The kitchen is well equipped if you decide to cook in the, but hotel restaurant next door cooks amazing dishes. Gianluca, the manager, takes great care of the property and keeps everything in perfect shape. Check In / Out was a breeze. The place is spotless clean. Secure rooftop parking is a breeze if you decide to drive. The location is situated between the main town of Amalfi and Positano. Really beautiful location on the coast. Kind of rite in between the village of amalfi and positano. Gianluca the host was awesome, really fast communication and super friendly. Arranged all of our rides to the different villages and airport with amazing drivers. Honestly couldn’t say enough good things. Don’t sleep on the local village of Conca dei Marini, it’s a short walk away and some amazing local food rite on the water. Thank you for a wonderful experience Gianluca!

The villa was lovely with a stunning overlook of the Mediterranean. Jianluca and his family members were terrific hosts. Hotel Conca Di Azzurra is conveniently located 100 meters away and has an excellent restaurant, Calajanara. The villa is somewhat remote so a car is recommended. That said, there is a daily parking fee at the villa of approximately 35 euros.

Villa Ducchessa was a beautiful spot to stay at: the view of the coastline is gorgeous, the villa itself is beautiful and tranquil with a large private terrace, and the communication with the host was seamless. I would love to return! The access—as with most of the spots on the coastal road—can be a bit tricky. Parking is not included in the rate of the stay, which I think it should. The villa is located about a 15 min drive from Amalfi, which makes having a car necessary unless you coordinate (expensive) taxis beforehand. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Villa Ducchessa and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Amalfi coast.

We had such an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely and large patio overlooking the sea. The home is decorated in a charming and fresh style. The hotel next door was extremely convenient for breakfast and delicious for dinners overlooking the Med. Pierpaolo was exceptional in helping us plan our days and making dinner reservations and securing taxis and boats for transportation to amazing beaches and restaurants. It was an amazing vacation and I would recommend this lovely villa highly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay in this gorgeous villa on the Amalfi Coast. This Villa is just as beautiful as the photos demonstrate. The home is comfortable and there was plenty of space for myself, my husband and our two adult children. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal or an apertivo (which we enjoyed on the patio with a glass of wine). The view from the terrace is breath-taking. The owner was helpful in arranging transfers from Naples and scheduling dinner reservations. There is a great restaurant not too far from the villa that has a free shuttle. Transportation to other parts of the coast is a little challenging, especially during the high tourist season. The city but stops across the street, but it was often at capacity. If you want a gorgeous and relaxing place to stay away from the crowds, this is it!

This property was exactly as advertised. Conveniently located next door to a hotel with a bar / restaurant. On the lower road so just a quick cab ride into Amalfi. Air conditioning was perfect , beds were comfortable. Beautiful terrace. Would stay here again

we were traveling with our friends who had never been to the Amalfi coast before this look like the epitome of the Amalfi experience. we did not think it could be as beautiful as the pictures that there was probably some bait and Switch situation going on. but to our pleasure, it was even better than we envisioned. It was a truly a villa on the coast of Amalfi situated between Amalfi town and Positano. There was parking for a full size car. which is convenient as you would expect in a Malfi yet very usable and you felt safe parking on a Vespa, you could hit everything you would want to see in a day along the coast Pier paolo , the host was extremely personable and knowledgeable after all Amalfy in actuality is just a small town he knew everybody that we had met seven years ago on our last stay in Amalfi which was pre-Covid and he told me how everybody had fared. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know about pier and his beautiful villa.

Beautiful villa perched on the hillside with a private terrace and ocean views. This place was stunning! It is located away from the main town & piazzas so taxis or buses are a necessity. That being said a few perks we loved: It’s affiliated with the hotel a short walk down. The hotel has a restaurant and ceramic store so we could grab breakfast, a cappuccino or a bottle of wine easily. That hotel is also at the Emerald Grotto so you can easily take the elevator down to enjoy it or jump on a water taxi (highly recommended over car taxi) bc it’s cheaper, less stressful and the views are incredible. PierPaolo & Giancarlo were amazing hosts!! From helping us check in (we were tired and hot) and the accommodated us early, to booking us an incredible anniversary dinner at da Ciccio Cielo to helping arrange car service - they were great and always made us feel welcome. They even sent us home with a welcome gift. Each bedroom is on opposite sides of the villa with terrace access so it’s great for family or 2 couples. The kitchen and living area we’re comfortable. Showers were nice and the views…. Did I mention the views?! The apartment overhead has a pet turtle that would run (she is a fast turtle!) over to see us as we passed by if she was out. My 8 yr old loves her. We got to see an epic lightning storm over the ocean! A few issues: Ants - tons of ants in the area. No fault of the hosts, but be aware. Thanks again! Hope to be back!

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi from August 3 till August 11, 2024. And I must say, the property is spectacular! The Villa was immaculate and perfect for our family, with breathtaking views overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The location is very convenient, with a bus stop at the nearby Hotel Conca Azzura, which also has an amazing restaurant with outstanding views and great food where you can get 10% discount as a guest of Villa Duchessa. Our host, PierPaolo was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation. PierPaolo even offered and helped us to get groceries delivered for us from the grocery store making our stay stress-free. Thank you for very much PierPaolo for be so kind and for your help. We certainly come back maybe next year!

We booked the Villa Duchessa with our two friends and absolutely loved the villa. It is just as beautiful as you see on the site with sweeping views of the coast from the terrace. The Villa is next door to the Conca de Azzura Hotel with a beautiful open air restaurant which we enjoyed several evenings. You can buy tickets and catch a bus right next to the hotel, which was convenient. We loved being picked up by drivers from the market and from the La Bontá del Capo Restaurant, which you must try. The Villa was very clean and comfortable, nicely furnished, and worked extremely well with two couples. The king bedrooms and 2 baths were on each end of the villa with the kitchen and living room in the middle. There was a utility room with a washing machine which was very helpful. If you like American coffee, you need to bring cone coffee filters with you - there are none in any market on the Amalfi Coast. We especially enjoyed meeting all of the family members and staff that were working in the hotel and villa. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our week at the Villa Duchess.

This property is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice! The view from the patio is breath taking and the home is very clean and comfortable. It is an ideal location for a visit to the Amalfi coast. The hotel next door is very convenient and the food is fabulous. Ginaluca, the host is amazing. He is such a gentleman and was very helpful with planning our stay. He arranged a fabulous trip to Capri, which was absolutely beautiful. He also made dinner reservations to some fabulous restaurants. You will not be disappoint in the property!

Pierpaolo was exceptional in helping us plan our days and making dinner reservations and securing taxis and boats for transportation to amazing beaches and restaurants. It was an amazing vacation and I would recommend this lovely villa highly.
We had such an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely and large patio overlooking the sea. The home is decorated in a charming and fresh style. The hotel next door was extremely convenient for breakfast and delicious for dinners overlooking the Med. The villa is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and has beautiful views!! Gianluca was great host he had a car pick us up at the airport and was there to meet us a the villa and he carried our suitcases down the steps into the villa. He then gave us a tour. Then he took us to the restaurant next door. We had a great lunch with the best view. Anytime we needed anything we texted Gianluca and he answered us right away. We eat a number of times at the restaurant and always had a great meal with great services. And because we stayed at the villa they gave us discount. A few evenings we bought some food and had a most enjoyable evening on the terrace. We used a car with a driver to get around. Arranged by Gianluca. Our favorite drivers was Antonio he was very friendly, reliable spoke English and went out of his way for us!! We did try the bus once and I would not recommend it! Because of traffic it was not on time and very crowded and hot. We stayed six nights and we did so much but we all agreed that we wished we had stayed a few days longer. Still a lot more to do and see that we missed. We highly recommend staying at Villa Duchessa d’Amalft! Home away from home but with so much better views. Teresa Richard Linda Craig

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay in this gorgeous villa on the Amalfi Coast. This Villa is just as beautiful as the photos demonstrate. The home is comfortable and there was plenty of space for myself, my husband and our two adult children. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal or an apertivo (which we enjoyed on the patio with a glass of wine). The view from the terrace is breath-taking. The owner was helpful in arranging transfers from Naples and scheduling dinner reservations. There is a great restaurant not too far from the villa that has a free shuttle. Transportation to other parts of the coast is a little challenging, especially during the high tourist season. The city but stops across the street, but it was often at capacity. If you want a gorgeous and relaxing place to stay away from the crowds, this is it!

Beautiful villa. The view from terrace was awesome. Our host was terrific. He arranged a 4-hour boat ride for us along the shore. Helped us get groceries delivered. Gave us tips for using the bus into the towns. He also arranged for drivers to and from the train stations. We ate at the hotel next door for one breakfast and dinner. Great seafood.

WOW sums up this Villa. The Villa is furnished extremely nice and will make you feel at home including a fully furnished kitchen. The giant terrace is unbelievable with amazing views. We arrived in Amalfi by ferry and our host arranged for us to take a water taxi. We were greeted by Pierpaolo at the drop off location at the Emerald Grotto. An elevator will take you up to a parking area for the Hotel La Conca Azzure. We recommend porter service as there is a bit of a walk from the hotel to the entrance to the Villa including several steps. At the Villa, Gaetano walked us through the property, provided recommendations for our stay, made reservations, and arranged for free pick-up services to/from restaurants. Gaetano arranged for dinner at the the hotel restaurant (Calajanara) which was wonderful with spectacular views, food and service. Pierpaolo recommend Il Refettorio which is the Michelin-Starred Restaurant at the Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel which is an old monastery for nuns. The views are unbelievable, and the food and service were top notch. Pierpaolo arranged water taxi service for us to spend a day in Amalfi and car service to Ravello. Private car service to Ravello was well worth the expense for convenience and comfort. Pierpaolo recommended several must sees (Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rugola, Cathedral). Gaetano, Pierpaolo, and Gianluca made everything wonderful. We will definitely stay at Villa Duchessa d’Amalfi when we return to the Amalfi Coast. Thank you

The Villa was perfect for our sister cousin weekend for four. The owner Gaetano and his family were awesome and so hospitable. He told us all the great places to visit and made our arrangements for us. His family owns the hotel next door that had the most beautiful restaurant, amenities and gift shop. The view was incredible and so was the villa. We will definitely go back for another visit.

We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi. First, our host Gaetano was amazing. He arranged boat trips, wine tours, cooking classes and cars for us. And was generally very helpful and super responsive on Whatsapp if anything came up. The place itself was beautiful. The terrace overlooking the ocean was huge and well appointed. We tended to spend mornings and evenings out on the terrace enjoying coffee or a light meal. The pictures are accurate but can't really do the terrace justice. The apartment itself was large with two large bedrooms, individual bathrooms and a half bathroom. Perfect for 2 couples. There was a small kitchen with all necessary appliances including 2 types of coffee makers. There was also a washing machine and a drying rack onsite. We had a car so we rented a parking spot for 15 euro per day. The bus stops very close too. We ate a few times at the hotel restaurant which was quite good. We also walked down to the Conca Dei Marinia beach which is this small, cute beach with a few restaurants. We drove to Amalfi, Priano, Ravello etc with ease. However, Gaetano also helped us arrange reservations at very local restaurants that would pick us up and bring us back. Nice if we both wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine. I counted 35 stairs to get down to the Villa from the road. No problem for us and frankly, better than most in Amalfi. But certainly not flat. All in all, we loved it and would definitely stay here again.

We loved this location!! The villa’s view is top notch! The host was very helpful and so quick to answer questions. Super clean and the patio/terrace was perfect for lounging and enjoying the view!! There are retractable shades for the patio if you need shade. I would recommend if someone rides the bus to the villa that you specify the “lower Conca dei Marini” so that you don’t end up on the bus that takes you to the upper part of Conca because there are so many steps down. We made this mistake but managed to walk down without too much trouble.
