A beautifully presented lodge, with a real home from home feel, when entering the lodge. The lodge was spotless and there was great attention to detail throughout. The accessibility features are excellent, wider doorways and the well planned wet room too… ideal for a wheelchair user. The host of Walnut Lodge, made us feel very welcome and I would highly recommend booking this lodge.

I can’t fault this place, it has provided us a temporary home after we sold our house and waited for our new house to be ready, the owner has been really accommodating and it is a lovely spot.

Our host Sheila was very welcoming and informative and responded very quickly to all messages or requests. Very comfortable lodge with all amenities you could need. Road noise when away from the lodge was more than anticipated. A very pleasant weekend!
