Sink faucet was broken. Room didn't smell clean. Breakfast was ok. Parking was good. Staff were great.

Staff friendly pool well kept in a spot with lot's to do and places to eat enjoyed it

The location is perfect because you're a few miles from being at the beach and there is pretty much everything you want/need within 5 miles. The check-in was easy and fairly quick, although the office space is small and it gets crowded quickly. I was surprised with the room when I walked in because it looked much better than I thought it would. They have obviously put some money into the asthetics of the rooms. The bed was fine , nothign wrong there. The issues I had was the humidity in the room. Yes, it was hot outside, but inside the room you felt the humidity, even with the a/c on. The other thing that let me know there was a humidity problem was the black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom(Room 119). Overall, the stay was good, I'm really only in hotels to sleep so all the amenities don't mean much to me. There was a washer/dryer in a room between the two sides. There were people in the pool so that seemed OK, but there is a serious leak either with the pool or the pump for the pool as there was a slow steady flow of water from it in the parking lot.

This property is cute. Simple, clean, fresh decor. Studio suite meant a tv in the sitting area and in the bedroom. Easy check in/out. Washers and dryers to take home fresh clothes after a stay. Easy parking.

My wife and i booked a room for 8 nights. The property itself is clean and inviting. The room was small and had a couple issues which i addressed with the staff at the front desk. A work order was submitted to address the issues. I would suggest to make rooms come standard with a fridge and microwave as our room lacked both making it inconvenient for long stays.I also had issues with the on-site laundry facility in which i lost $2 in change which the hotel refused to refund. That was a big turn off for me as the machines in question are on their property. The desk clerk told me that the machines are company owned and that they are not responsible for them and that they were out of order with signs posted. I took photos showing the clerk that there was no signs. Still they refused to refund my money. Daily dirty linen and trash pickup lacked as well . We emptied our own trash and walked our dirty towels and rags to the front desk to exchange them for clean fresh linens. There's definitely room for improvement to provide guests with a better experience.

CONS- our key card stopped working about two times. The first time I went at a gentleman was at the front desk and he was extremely rude to not only me, but the customers that were in line before me. He looked like he was extremely bothered, and I felt very uncomfortable to even ask him for any help. The second time our key card stopped working. It was after hours so we had to go to the hotel next-door for the engineer to let us in with a master key card. Floor was disgusting. It looks like they don’t warm off. You cannot walk around without shoes on. There was dust everywhere and in the corners there was dirt. PROS- that same gentleman that was extremely rude was very welcoming when we checked in the night before. He was extremely nice so I’m not sure what happened the next day with him. The pool was very clean. They share it with the hotel next-door. Check out is 11 AM which is great because it gave us time to enjoy the morning. They have a little selection of breakfast, which was pretty decent. Overall, the hotel is no bells and whistles, but it was a place to rest our head while we were on vacation.

Reasonable price and clean. A good place to stay in Ocean City area. The pool and hot tub were very clean and rooms. Had breakfast last day of our stay, not the best but enjoyed bagel and cup of coffee.

My room was small but sufficient for a two night stay. It was just a layover for me, so just ok. Lots of families with children probably because of the cheap rate. Pool and hot tub were very nice. My room was clean and was updated. Sufficient for 1 person. Floor uneven. No fridge and ice bucket not insulated so was water by morning. Fine but won’t be staying there again.

Parking was relatively easy the room was surprisingly clean but for 245 dollars it could have been better.. staff was extremely friendly the biggest down sides were the A/C was spotty working then not working and the pillows were basically Bricks… also check in was extremely confusing having to go into another hotel to check in was odd and for someone who wouldn’t know it was a waste of time trying to figure it out. But outside of those few things it was a decent stay of the pillows were better and the price better fit to “get what you pay for” it would have been a better experience.

Check in was a breeze. I never made it to breakfast so I can't chime in on that. The beds were comfortable and clean, The water is very hot for showers which was amazing. Microwave and refrigerator worked as they should. I was there 4 nights no one came to check if we needed anything or came to refresh the rooms. I did request clean towels, & paper toilet. No extra trash bags were given so I just used grocery bags that I had. The pool was refreshing and not too cold. I love how it has a 1ft part for the littles. The hottub was a bonus and felt good at night. Definitely recommend.

I did not stay. The room I was given was dirty with hair and dirt on the bed. When I went to office to complain the guys showed me another room and he even came in and saw that bed also was dirty with hair and a bug on the bed. He agreed to why I wouldn’t allow myself or my daughter to sleep there. But “couldn’t” give me a refund.

Room was very small! Floor was dirty. Wouldn’t walk around without shoes on, same as my boyfriend. Bathroom was in horrible condition too. Rod insert for the shower curtain was falling out of the wall. Shower was not very clean either, as my boyfriend and I both wore flip flops/ slides while showering. It’s obvious behind the bed does not get vacuumed very often as my boyfriend dropped something behind the bed and said it was covered in nothing but hair. After seeing the room I had actually went to the front desk and told the man I wanted a refund. As he informed me he’s not in charge of that and I would need to contact the manager in the AM. I had also notified the front desk receptionist that I was not comfortable with staying there as there was a strange guy walking around the parking lot barefooted looking into peoples vehicles. All the receptionist told me is he knew the guy I was talking about and he was waiting for someone and that he had been in his room since. I was not very happy with the fact I could not get a refund as my boyfriend and I were both very unhappy and dissatisfied! I will never get a room at this hotel again!

Filthy. Dead bugs, dirt, food debris, water rings on tables. Wood bubbled up from water damage. Broken sofa with brown smears, gnats flying out of sink and towels. Dirt caked into dried pee streaks on bath baseboards around toilet and behind bath door. Food or who know what splattered walls in whole unit around trash cans. Dirt crusted in mini fridge. No support by staff at any time. Absent with notice to see the nearby hotel for help. Have no idea about the wifi and any amenities since no communications. Did not use shower because it was gross and we never touched bare feet to floor it was so dirty and crunchy. Curtains did not stay covered over windows. AC units would blow them apart easily so over night, 4 inches opened and walking traffic would see me and my children sleeping easily on display. Microtel people who helped us get checked in in the early evening friday and later when keys were not working we nice. But they couldn't fix the keys and with absent staff for the Shore House, its unlikely we could have had them fixed. I should not have paid for 1 night let alone 2. Stay away unless youre a drunk and dont care or are used to wallowing in others dirt. Fine. All i needed was clean. Even old is ok. Clean is the bare minimum and this place couldn't handle that. Dont believe any good picture- its just lipstick on a dirty pig.

From the moment I got in the room I wanted to leave. The walls are super thin, I heard clear conversations from the people above and beside us. I had to sleep with the tv on because of the neighbors snoring. The floor had sand everywhere. Two of the nights my key card didn’t work. The sink had mildew by the overflow. You must request room service. NEVER AGAIN

The sink was clogged with someone else’s hair on day one, bathroom floor & door was dirty. They don’t clean the rooms unless you ask or take out trash, continental breakfast was more like toast & bagels and an apple. One of the towels that we received had a blood stain on it, and found a dead roach smashed on the wall, oh and did I mention there were ants coming out of the AC unit! Very misleading from the pictures online.

The free breakfast is not what is expected. They didn't even restock the break/ bar they said they had. Not enough towels for 3 people. Also if you paid for the room be advised they charge you an extra 75 dollars on your card. It is returned. But don't let it catch you by suprised. The water takes forever to warm up. They rooms need work on. The bathroom was molded and dirty. Wasn't impressed, disappointed 😕.

Price was great. 6 nights, $1k. Not too far from the beach. Great restaurants! Go to tap house and breakfast cafe! Note: no microwave and fridge in standard rooms. It was clean but we did find earings and a condom wrap under the bed.

This is the worst experience of my life and I didn’t even stay. Not only are reviews expressing clean quiet rooms a straight lie but I’d go as far as saying this motel needs to be shut down. 20-30 minute drive from all things you go to ocean city for (not 3-10 minutes as listed). Upon checking in there were pubic hairs on the seat of the bathroom, chemical smells throughout the room, bugs, and stained sheets. When we asked for assistance we were told there’s no house keeping right now so clean it ourselves. We asked for a different room and were told none were available even though there were in fact plenty. Already speaking with the health dept and better business bureau. Refund was not given due to policy which I’d understand IF they accommodated us as we requested. But there was no way we’d stay after such horrible treatment. You’d have a better stay at the prison 30 minutes away. Steer clear

The room appeared clean for the most part, however, the floor had some sand and may have not been cleaned recently because it somewhat blackened the bottoms of our feet when we walked around barefoot so not super clean. Also, there was no one to check us in when we arrived and had to go to the neighboring hotel, which has some type of partnership with the hotel we were staying at to check in. The office/lobby of our hotel rarely had anyone in it (we were supposed to get coffee and a basic breakfast at eight in the morning and often the office had not even opened up by eight in the morning). We were also supposed to have a queen size bed, and did not, and because there were no office staff anywhere we weren't able to get that rectified at all.

I have never stayed in a hotel room before where the room with the queen size bed and tv was about a 10x10...very small

Rooms are super small compared to what is advertised. In order to receive fresh towels ,you must give housekeeping your old towels. Reserved double beds , assigned to a King bed room. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Convenient to all attractions and OC boardwalk, plenty of places dine

This stay was okay. The staff was helpful and considerate. The location is right in town. My issues were that the space detailed that I would have a mini fridge and a microwave, but I was surprised to find out that it is reserved only for king rooms, which was not labeled on the booking. The location said is was 3 minutes to the beach and boardwalk, but was really 10 minutes; that wasn’t an issue for me, but it was not accurate. The complementary breakfast was just cereal and yogurt in the hotel front desk, so not what I had in mind. The hotel is connected/close by the microtel, so that was my only concern as a female solo traveler. However, there were many families at Shoreside so it felt very family friendly. My MAIN issue was the cleanliness. I don’t believe my room was thoroughly cleaned. The shower was slimy AND I uncovered my sheets to find a bunch of hair and cotton swabs under the covers.

The property looked beautiful and cute online but this wasn’t the case in real life. The walls are extremely thin so I was hearing TOO much. The doors to the units are JANK and require you to throw your body weight into the door to get it open. Flooring is uneven and the bathroom is dingy.

Rooms are small, no mini fridge or microwaves in room. However the rooms are very clean, with a tv and AC. Realistically it’s all you need for short stays. Would use again in a pinch. Has access to a pool and hot tub from next door hotel which was nice as well.

It was nice, a little vintage on the outside but remodeled on the inside. However the blinds should be replaced to something that blocks the light from outside shining in all night long. Also a larger mirror to check out your outfit not just your face. Other than that it was nice.

It's a decent place to stay, have been there before. Just basic room, TV, WiFi, pool. Only thing missing was a mini fridge. I had assumed they were in all rooms, but they are not in the one bed rooms.

Decent cleanliness, extremely basic room. No table tops to put anything. No toilet paper. No tissues. Super small room. No hook to hang towels, clothes or anything. Sink is super low. AC was good. Overall between 1 and 2 star. Not ghetto but close. Super low quality room.

$75 hold on a card for incidentals is the highest in Ocean City by almost $50. Very unreasonable. And when I couldn't pay it, they wouldn't let me check in or refund my money.

First of all, my check in into the hotel was a nightmare experience. I had booked through hotels.com but the property couldn't access or find my registration. It took almost an hour for them to find my reservation and check me in. Then, they gave me a room which was given out to some other guest and resulted in an awkward and embarrassing situation for us as well as people who were already in the room. Then they moved us again to a different room but it was not the kind that I had paid for. After yet another change of rooms, we were finally given a room comparable to the one we had reserved. The only good thing was the rooms were clean and even though it was in a seaside town, the rooms were surprisingly not smelly. Almost every hotel that I've stayed in the area has a weird ocean/ sea life smell, but this hotel smelled clean and crisp. Very tiny rooms that are okay for a night of crashing in but not great for any sort of experience. Breakfast is no frills simple set up but it doesn't start at 7:00 as promised. Had to wait almost an hour to even get some coffee. Overall, I am very confused as to the experience we had. The rooms were clean even though they were small. But the service not great. I understand this is a very budget. No frills hotel, but even there you expect a very minimal level of acceptable service and this was missing here. This compounded with my harrowing experience at check-in Will make me think twice about booking here or booking at these places thr

My key card stopped working at least once every day and I got locked out of my room on my last night for an hour because the key card stopped working and the office was closed. Had to walk over to the next hotel and I guess she had a key card for this one. All in all not bad, just slightly disappointed.

There was no one to contact after check in, with issues. There wasn’t even a sign at the front desk telling guests who they could contact.

Paid ahead of time. Was not aware of 75.00 incidental fee. Went to check in and could not until the fee was paid. This was not mentioned during booking.

The check in process was unclear and inaccurate. The site said the office was open until 11:30pm for check in but they were closed before 11pm and it was not clear what to do after that. Luckily we were able to figure out to go to the Microtel onsite to check in in their lobby. They did not clean the room each day either.

The staff was never there when they said they would be, especially after 5pm when they should’ve been there later than that. There was an ant infestation in our first room but no one was there to assist us in the matter so we couldn’t stay for one of the two nights. The next day the property manager was kind and helped us choose a different room, one of which also had a few ants there as well. The same day we came back to our motel room around 10 pm and no one was there despite the manager telling us she would be there until 12am, so when our key cards refused to let us in, we couldn’t get any help and had to goto the microtel across the stress for someone to let us in via master key. The pool is awesome and has a hot tub but overall the room situation made it quite an unhappy stay.

My boyfriend and I booked a queen bedroom here because we enjoy visiting West Ocean City. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. I called earlier in the day to ask about early check-in but was told it wasn’t possible at all which is fine...I understand if early check-in isn't possible. When we finally arrived, we were given a room—but our key card wouldn’t work. After getting assistance from the front desk and maintenance, I mentioned that it sounded like there were people inside the room. The staff insisted it wasn’t occupied—until a man actually opened the door and informed us he was staying there until Wednesday. They had assigned us to a room that was already occupied. Needless to say, not a great first impression. We were then moved to a different room, but it wasn’t what we booked. I had reserved a queen bed suite, but the new room had a full bed. When we brought this up to the manager, we were told, “They’re listed as full beds in the system, but they’re definitely all queens.” This left us confused and feeling misled. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I are small enough to manage on a full bed, but it wasn’t what we paid for. On top of that, the cleanliness and overall condition of the room were disappointing. There were what appeared to be shoe prints on top of the toilet, bugs flying around the room, and very thin walls that made it hard to relax. Overall, our stay was frustrating and fell far short of expectations.

My room keys didn’t work 99.99% of the time and I had to go to office every day we were there to get new keys or my keys re activated. Someone busted up everything in the office over a refund all while I was trying to get into my room(which I couldn’t because my key didn’t work). I asked the front desk guy and he said he couldn’t at that moment, so I waited patiently. With 3 kids an elderly mother and me being a diabetic I had no choice but to ask again after about 25-30mins. I believe the owner or property manger let me in thank god because I was having a low blood sugar. As for cleanliness, the floors really need cleaned better. They were sticky and there was dirt everywhere. The tub could have used a good cleaning as well. Other than that I can’t really complain. It’s a cute little hotel, affordable, and close to what we needed to be close to for our stay.

It was a great place to stay out of the town of OC for a festival. You could walk there or take the Park N Ride bus shuttle over to the division street bus station. We would definitely stay here again. Only thing I wish they had in the room was a fridge and microwave, but we made it work. Thanks for having us.

Perfect for a one night stay, close to the beach and there were many things to do in the area.

It was good enough to walk 10 minutes to get to the park and ride bus. It was 45 minute walk to the boardwalk

The front desk worker was extremely rude, the room was filthy, the WiFi didn’t work, and we were told there would be no breakfast as advertised. I would not recommend this place to anyone

It was cheap but still decent. The room was clean, staff friendly and environment was quiet. Only complaint is the "complimentary breakfast" consisted of apples, coffee and toast and the office didn't open to start serving breakfast until after 9am.

It was a good experience. Only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast. It’s only bagels and cereal that looks old. And the coffee was from the day before but they were at least honest about it.

READ THIS - 7/5/25 our stay was probably one of the worst. we booked a room from 7-1 until 7-5. the breakfast that they advertise? nonexistent. we kept going over to the microtel next door where the breakfast was AMAZING (props to them). the first day when we went for breakfast at the shore house, the office wasn’t open at the time they said they would be. room service/housekeeping? NONEXISTENT. we had to keep going to the lobby to ask for clean towels and wash rags to be met with dirty looks by the staff members. not a single day did we come back to the bed being made or anything stocked. our trash was not taken out once, and the sheets were disgusting looking/ bleach stained. the pool was nice as well as the tiny hot tub, but please be aware that it is shared with the microtel so there is almost always people in it. about a 6 minute drive to the beach, wawa within walking distance and a shopping plaza only a few minutes away. THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE HOUSEKEEPING DIDNT EXIST 75 DOLLAR SECURITY DEPOSIT THAT WASNT ADVERTISED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING NO MINI FRIDGE/ MICROWAVE NONEXISTENT BREAKFAST (go over to microtel, trust me) i wouldn’t stay here again. in a pinch and for a lower budget it was a place to stay, but neverrrr again.

Arrived and found that the power was out, so they were unable to create a key for the room. Breakfast was not being set up until after 830 am, and they offered cereal, but no milk. The beverage options at breakfast consisted of water and coffee.
