Great location on edge of town and at end of gated/walled block of residences, so much quieter than if in town. Was an easy 10 min walk to Central Park. Our sweet was good size with comfortable king sized bed and nice bathroom. Water temp was cool once, so my wife asked about hot water and it was turned up. Breakfasts were good, with eggs, pancakes, beans, and fruit. My wife wished for more fruit, and we both thought the coffee could have been stronger. Super nice staff and beautiful courtyard.

The hotel sits inside a quiet, private gated courtyard. Our driver knew to call as we approached, so the gate could be opened. Once inside the gate we were welcomed by a beautiful flower lined street. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Our room had a small kitchen and two double beds. The beds were much harder than we would have liked. Although it never got really hot during our stay, there is no a/c.. We would bring a small fan in the future. As a result, we tried leaving the windows open, however, that invited mosquitos. After 3 days of getting bit, we were told to light the incense in the room to deter them from coming in. Maybe a small note in the room explaining that would be helpful. FYI, the window is also low enough to see in when it is open..Sit down breakfast is included and is served in the garden courtyard. It consists of your choice of 3 dishes, traditional eggs, beans and plantains, fresh fruit and pancakes or combo. Cereal is also available. The food was fresh and very good. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Since we were on a working vacation building homes, we needed laundry service which was available for Q50 or $7 a bag. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again!!

Everything in hotel services was great. Only incovinience >They share a common street entrance with other tenants of lotification,so first,not easy to see name of hotel from the street,gate opens with button on the inside so the first time you call the office to enter . After the first time ,it gets better. But ,plenty of parking , and in Antigua ,that is a bonus.

Fantastic place ,top notch service! We stayed in room number one . Very clean and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed.Lots of tv channels if that is important.The bathroom is clean , spacious and the water is hot as long as it takes.Breakfast and coffee are excellent. All of the staff members are super friendly with excellent service manners.The hotel is located in a gated community and a quiet place ,with two beautiful decorated garden.I have read in another review that it is a bit out of the way and a long walk to the town center which is not true. It's very walkable and not difficult.We will be back here for sure,we stayed three nights.

Nice option for Antigua. It’s in a gated community so a bit of a hassle to get in (you have to call ahead to get them to open the gate). But once you are in its very safe. The hotel itself is nice except I got the room next to the laundry and kitchen so it was very noisy. I’m an early riser so not a big deal but Don’t let them put you in room #1 if you want to sleep past 6 am. Breakfast was good.

Nossa estadia foi ótima, William e a equipe do Hotel são especiais, muito cordiais e nos ajudaram muto. Café da manhã tradicional é muito bom. A limpeza e organização do quarto foram ótimas. Como se trata de uma casa, os sons vindos dos quartos vizinhos são frequentes, mas nada que pudesse atrapalhar. Gostamos bastante

Beautifully stunning! Don't be fooled by the noisy road outside. As soon as you enter the gate, there is a serene silence. And a gorgeous compound. The hotel is very clean, there is a lot of attention to beautiful details and the staff is very friendly. Great breakfast, hot showers, comfy beds, CLEAN!

Hot water, very commutable and pretty. The only cons were no AC (like most of Guatemala) and people sometimes are a little loud, walking by your rooms. The courtyard is stunning and the staff was super nice. Beds are a little hard, but that seems to be a running theme in Guatemala

Cons: The rooms are small, and it’s a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Pros: We enjoyed delicious breakfasts in the courtyard, which is beautifully maintained. The property is well-kept and decorated with great taste. The staff is very kind, and there is good internet access. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good place to stay, not our first time. It’s close enough to walk to the Central Park, is secluded, includes a great breakfast. We’d recommend not to stay in room 1. It’s next to the kitchen and gets a bit noisy.

Absolutely amazing! Location: Not in the heart of Antigua but close enough to everything. City is incredibly safe with cameras and emergency buttons. Staff: Kind, understanding and accommodating. The sweetest people! Hotel: breakfast is included and it was hearty and delicious. Room is simple and spacious; ours did not include AC but nothing a little crack of a window can’t fix.

I had a fantastic time at Hotel las Marias. The staff were so helpful and kind. They helped me to arrange an excursion as well as airport transport. Breakfast was delicious and my room was very comfortable. The hotel is in a safe, gated area and is a fairly close walk to the main square.

The staff is very helpful and very accommodating!! We loved our stay here! Although limited with our spanish speaking, the staff was great and everyone seemed so very welcoming!! A big shoutout to the senioritãs in the kitchen for the lovely breakfast they made every morning!! Coffee was good! All our requests were heard and possible answers were given. The gated community provided extra security and everything is at a walking distance!!! Highly recommend, just make sure to ask for a fan if staying during summer!!!

All of the staff members are super friendly with excellent service manners.The hotel is located in a gated community and a quiet place ,with two beautiful decorated garden.I have read in another review that it is a bit out of the way and a long walk to the town center which is not true. It's very walkable and not difficult.We will be back here for sure,we stayed three nights.

All the staff were wonderful and went above and beyond. I was given recommendations for places to eat. Each time I came in or out there was always someone friendly to say hello or enjoy your outing. They arranged airport transport for me and even made me coffee and a little breakfast to go at 2:30 am. The breakfast included was made to order, which was delicious. This on top of the beautiful courtyard with lush plants and hummingbirds and fountain made my stay great. My two minor gripes are there was a strong damp or musty smell in my room, which I know is due to the tropical environment. I was easily able to mask it with burning incense they provided. Also that its a bit out of the way, but its in a secure neighborhood, so I felt safe, and I was able to get plenty of steps in due to this, so not a big deal. Plus, you pass by some cool ruins on your way into the city center so its a nice walk. Overall I loved my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Our stay was great, from the time we check in until we check out they made us feel appreciated. Nery was a great host, we came back from a late walk, and he brew some coffee for us, great coffee by the way. Also Roxana prepared our breakfast which was freshly made for all six if us. Restaurants and markets are a short walk distance, fast internet, and various forms of transport are available, front desk arragend two tuk tuks for us. Great and quiet place, we can't wait to be back again.

Hotel muy bonito y comodo a 15 minutos caminando del parque central. Excelente servicio del personal del hotel. El hotel esta en una privada muy segura, sin embargo el area afuera de la privada esta muy sola, no recomendaria caminar al hotel de noche

Cons: The rooms are small, and it’s a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Pros: We enjoyed delicious breakfasts in the courtyard, which is beautifully maintained. Great location on edge of town and at end of gated/walled block of residences, so much quieter than if in town. Was an easy 10 min walk to Central Park. Our sweet was good size with comfortable king sized bed and nice bathroom. Water temp was cool once, so my wife asked about hot water and it was turned up. Breakfasts were good, with eggs, pancakes, beans, and fruit. My wife wished for more fruit, and we both thought the coffee could have been stronger. Super nice staff and beautiful courtyard.

Everything in hotel services was great. Only incovinience >They share a common street entrance with other tenants of lotification,so first,not easy to see name of hotel from the street,gate opens with button on the inside so the first time you call the office to enter . After the first time ,it gets better. But ,plenty of parking , and in Antigua ,that is a bonus.

Absolutely amazing! Location: Not in the heart of Antigua but close enough to everything. City is incredibly safe with cameras and emergency buttons. Staff: Kind, understanding and accommodating. The sweetest people! Hotel: breakfast is included and it was hearty and delicious. Room is simple and spacious; ours did not include AC but nothing a little crack of a window can’t fix.

The staff is very helpful and very accommodating!! We loved our stay here! Although limited with our spanish speaking, the staff was great and everyone seemed so very welcoming!! A big shoutout to the senioritãs in the kitchen for the lovely breakfast they made every morning!! Coffee was good! All our requests were heard and possible answers were given. The gated community provided extra security and everything is at a walking distance!!! Highly recommend, just make sure to ask for a fan if staying during summer!!!

The hotel sits inside a quiet, private gated courtyard. Our driver knew to call as we approached, so the gate could be opened. Once inside the gate we were welcomed by a beautiful flower lined street. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Our room had a small kitchen and two double beds. The beds were much harder than we would have liked. Although it never got really hot during our stay, there is no a/c.. We would bring a small fan in the future. As a result, we tried leaving the windows open, however, that invited mosquitos. After 3 days of getting bit, we were told to light the incense in the room to deter them from coming in. Maybe a small note in the room explaining that would be helpful. FYI, the window is also low enough to see in when it is open..Sit down breakfast is included and is served in the garden courtyard. It consists of your choice of 3 dishes, traditional eggs, beans and plantains, fresh fruit and pancakes or combo. Cereal is also available. The food was fresh and very good. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Since we were on a working vacation building homes, we needed laundry service which was available for Q50 or $7 a bag. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again!!

Beautifully stunning! Don't be fooled by the noisy road outside. As soon as you enter the gate, there is a serene silence. And a gorgeous compound. The hotel is very clean, there is a lot of attention to beautiful details and the staff is very friendly. Great breakfast, hot showers, comfy beds, CLEAN!

The rooms are clean, and property is pretty, but it’s not a good location. Breakfast is minimal. Some staff are friendly, some not. No AC (super hot in the room). I’m honestly confused about why this is rated as high as it is.

This is a gem of a hotel, set in a gated community, a quiet and peaceful location yet only a 10 minute walk from the very centre of Antugua a beautiful city. The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and set around a beautiful courtyard filled with ferns and other greenery, a great location to sit and relax, and the setting for the amazing breakfasts served up by the fabulous ladies on the hotel team. The hotel staff are simply wonderful, extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble, special mention to Mayda who arranged shuttles to and from the airport and trips to Lake Atitlan and a local coffee plantation. We would highly reccomend Hotel Las Marias thank you for a great 4 nights in Guatemala.
