Perfect as somewhere to spend night. The rooms are small but the balcony overlooking the water makes up for that. The meals at the bistro are great and there's a bottle shop but if you want a good coffee and breakfast you have to wait for 10am. The location isn't great if you want to walk to shops, cafes or wildlife parks.

The only reason condition is rated slightly lower is because of the renovations currently taking place. Apart from that - great food, lovely team, beautiful scenery, good in-room facilities.

Currently renovating the bistro so couldn't get meals but staff directed us to other places to dine. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We will be back to check out the new bistro. Lovely stay here 😀

Check in was good, lovely staff. Enjoyed my complimentary drink, ordered dinner for room service. However I had to go back to the bar after an hour of waiting as I had not received it. Sort of received an apology, they remade my meal, gave me a refund with a complimentary drink. Thank you

Overall a good location for a rest on my journey. Clean fresh room apart from another previous guests used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Queen bed had very little back support as mattress sunk low when I sat on bed to lay down. Very little sleep.had, awake from the middle of the night.In room information said guests get a 10% discount on meals in restaurant but no staff knew about it and not given when purchasing my 2 courses. One staff said she couldn't catch manager to ask but confirmed by manager when our party were leaving the premises..Also on the web booking and hotel info sheet says breakfast pack available but it doesn't exist. Food area of restaurant opens at 11am only after checkout.

From the minute Sara checked us in and provided vouchers for a free beverage each and 10% off our meal at the restaurant, to her remembering our names every time we saw her smiling face, the overall experience couldn't have been better. The Duty Manager & bar staff were also very professional, friendly and incredibly helpful whilst dining at the restaurant. Our room had been recently refurbished, so everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the shower lovely and hot, and the room was very dark and quiet during the night. Will definitely return the next time we are staying at the Sunshine Coast.

Quarto amplo e o banheiro também. A roupa de cama é excelente e as toalhas também! Tem bons shampoo e condicionador. O colchão é muito mole. O chuveiro é bom! Após horas dirigindo, um bom banho é fundamental!O ar condicionado é eficiente e ainda tem um ventilador de teto. O quarto tem uma varandinha com vista para o rio. O wi-fi é bom! Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Leight!

I arrived and waited 5min for an attendant to be at reception to check me in. I had a work meeting, so I left and held the meeting from my car instead of the room. When I returned to reception after the meeting concluded, I waited 12min before someone welcomed me at reception. (I know as I received a phone call while waiting) The room was clean, but had a smell to it. For the price I paid, it was not worth it.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Evening meal was lovely and discounted with accommodation. Plenty of seating.

The only reason condition is rated slightly lower is because of the renovations currently taking place. Apart from that - great food, lovely team, beautiful scenery, good in-room facilities.

Overall a good location for a rest on my journey. Clean fresh room apart from another previous guests used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Queen bed had very little back support as mattress sunk low when I sat on bed to lay down. Very little sleep.had, awake from the middle of the night.In room information said guests get a 10% discount on meals in restaurant but no staff knew about it and not given when purchasing my 2 courses. One staff said she couldn't catch manager to ask but confirmed by manager when our party were leaving the premises..Also on the web booking and hotel info sheet says breakfast pack available but it doesn't exist. Food area of restaurant opens at 11am only after checkout.

Currently renovating the bistro so couldn't get meals but staff directed us to other places to dine. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We will be back to check out the new bistro. Lovely stay here 😀

Check in was good, lovely staff. Enjoyed my complimentary drink, ordered dinner for room service. However I had to go back to the bar after an hour of waiting as I had not received it. Sort of received an apology, they remade my meal, gave me a refund with a complimentary drink. Thank you

Was very impressed with the room service ,order meals from the room and it gets cooked at the pub then delivered to the room the food was great .The room was very clean service was great ,highly recommend.

Very clean and modern rooms. Bit pricey but they do offer 2 free drinks and 10% off your meal at the restaurant. Nice sweets in the rooms as well as tea and coffee, milk and water bottles. Only negative was the noise from the other guests. Rooms aren’t well insulated so I didn’t appreciate the neighbours slamming doors, etc.

We get an annual car service in Maroochydore, coming down the night before to be first off the blocks as we have a 2.5 hour drive back afterwards. We have stayed at Nightcap at Northern Grounds previously and again on Monday evening. We found the renovated rooms very comfortable, clean, well stocked with tea and coffee making provisions. Beds were excellent and we bring our own pillows. Being able to open the large sliding door out onto the little deck is very much to my our liking as we both find fresh air contributes majorly to a good night's sleep. We greatly appreciated the late checkout as we spent the time while our vehicle was being serviced (8.15 am- 3.15pm) at Northern Grounds. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and Will the Bar Attendant looked after us impeccably. Our thanks to Manager Leigh for organising the late check out
