I was so very disappointed that the pool was out of order. I was planning to have my grandkids swim with me. Also, I didn’t see the $$$ property fee when I picked this hotel on Expedia. That should definitely have been in the Expedia booking info.

This is a beautiful property. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The spin bike in the gym was broken, which was disappointing everyone we encountered was cheerful and welcoming.

It’s was my second time staying there. It was very nice, but for the price and reputation, I’m surprised that there weren’t mini fridges or microwaves which are so common these days. Also, no bottled water but you can buy it on the floor in a vending machine. Also, at times, close parking was very sparse.

I booked one night to attend my nephew's wedding reception. Plus: Impressive grounds, nice staff, outdoor dining at a reasonable price. Minus: Parking for the hotel can be a distance from the entrance. Pool closed in the middle of July for repairs?! Complementary breakfast was a croissant or bagel and juice or coffee served in the front lobby, Only small drink napkins, no full sized napkins or paper plates. A Hampton has a better offering for half the room cost. For a premier destination I would have expected much more.

Honestly, I checked out a day early. Neither my sister or I could get into the shower. My sister the whole reason for this trip could not get into her bed and slept in a chair. Our AC was not working properly the TV was dark and hard to watch. My meal which was to their credit refunded to a gift card for a place I will never go back to... was burnt. My bed sheet was ripped. The flowers were pretty and the champagne and strawberries were in my room when I arrived. My nerves are shot. My sister's birthday was ruined. We came home at 8 am cause we could not take it anymore. To be honest, this is a venue and conference place not a place to get away from it all. My floor was dirty. my sheet had a huge rip in it and to be honest when we said wee were cheking out I was told I would be charged for all my indicidentals and the second day. Who would want to stay where you are so uncomfortable it was not funny?? Whom?? This is a place you go for a wedding. The pictures of the real room are nothing like what I saw online. Also room service is overpriced and terrible.

Stayed here for one night and it was overall terrible. The bed sheets and covers were covered in stains. It looks like housekeeping only changes the sheets and leaves the rest to be dirty. Overall I would not stay here in the near future because of its poor cleanliness.

Room was super clean. Check-in was smooth and easy. We needed a fridge and it was put in our room before we brought our luggage in from the car. There was four of us but we only had 3 towels.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed for one night and the noise level was unbelievable. Due to the excessive noise from nearby rooms, we woke up at 2am and could not sleep until 4:30am. We called the front desk for help and it did not help. The hotel has a quite hours”policy from 9pm until 6am but they do not do anything to help when people decide to party after midnight. Terrible experience.

This hotel is consistently clean, has very friendly staff, an awesome Sunday brunch, comfy beds and it's quiet. We didn't have a great view, but that's not what we were there for, so it didn't matter. The front desk staff were especially patient with my boyfriend, who is a Washington Commanders fan. There was some friendly banter back and forth, which he appreciated. See you next time we are in town!!

It’s very nice, you do have to request housekeeping when you want it. There are no refrigerators in room. Guests Park in front of the lobby door and other cars can’t pull up, That was annoying.

This was our second stay at Normandy, our first one being about 7 years ago shortly after a big renovation they did. This hotel seems to have fallen behind with modern amenities over the years. The tv in the bedroom was an old thick “flat screen” tv probably from 2012 and very difficult to operate. Upon entering the room we were hit by the overwhelming smell of mildew. I found it was the heat/AC unit itself and it needed to be turned off. Luckily when we stayed it was in the 50’s so we turned the unit off and just left the windows cracked all night to let it air out and not get too hot. Definitely less than convenient. We also noticed their “computer” room had one old dell desktop computer from the early 2010’s. Something I was shocked to see as there was literally a convention being held while we were there, you’d assume they’d have more modern amenities for those who travel often for work. The bathroom/shower is very outdated as well. Very dark, mediocre cheap shower head and black mold growing on the caulking around the seams of the shower. One of the perks of this hotel is the restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious. We ordered room service but not from over the phone. My husband had to walk down to the restaurant and order it to have it delivered. All in all I wouldn’t necessarily recommend Normandy to friends/family and we won’t be returning the next time we are in PA.

This is our third year staying at the Normandy hotel. My mother was having surgery, and due to unexpected expenses, I booked our stay with Expedia for 5 nights. Upon arrival, we checked in with front desk staff Alex. From the beginning of our interaction, he was impatient, quick-talking, and rude. We had a problem with our room, I booked a suite for my family of 3 and the room had one king-size bed. I spoke to Alex, at the front desk again and he said because I booked with Expedia, there was nothing he could do or will do. I was in disbelief, we spent 1,500.00 to stay at the Normandy Hotel and this is the treatment we get! Alex, in my opinion, is a bad front desk person. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that no managers were available. Before long I got a call from Sylvia, she is one of the front desk staff that helped facilitate us getting another room with two beds. She listened to my concerns and offered a solution. I am so thankful for her hospitality. I wish I could say that our stay was pleasant, Again we had an interaction with him, my husband called the desk to ask about the wifi, and Alex, told him because we booked through a 3rd party we don’t have it. Then yesterday I called Normandy Hotel to ask about a $53 charge and sure enough I got Alex, he said the charge was for WiFi! and other things. I felt because I booked my stay through Expedia, I was treated differently and made to feel less than by Alex.

This is our third year staying at the Normandy hotel. My mother was having surgery, and due to unexpected expenses, I booked our stay with Expedia for 5 nights. Upon arrival, we checked in with front desk staff Alex. From the beginning of our interaction, he was impatient, quick-talking, and rude. We had a problem with our room, I booked a suite for my family of 3 and the room had one king-size bed. I spoke to Alex, at the front desk again and he said because I booked with Expedia, there was nothing he could do or will do. I was in disbelief, we spent 1,500.00 to stay at the Normandy Hotel and this is the treatment we get! Alex, in my opinion, is a bad front desk person. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that no managers were available. Before long I got a call from Sylvia, she is one of the front desk staff that helped facilitate us getting another room with two beds. She listened to my concerns and offered a solution. I am so thankful for her hospitality. When I made res, I requested late check out. I was told it would not be a problem. At check in I was told I had to pay for an extra 1/2 day, which I did. When I returned from lunch and tried to enter my room, the key did not work. I had to get cleaning staff to let me in. Then I was called continually from desk asking me when I was checking out. And the hotel was not full and no was checking in on Sunday night. All very annoying. Also the complimentary breakfast was pathetic. I had to go to dining room to beg for plant based milk.

Two issues. 1. Our room air conditioning did not work; it only blew warm air. I mentioned it to the front desk and all they said was "sorry, we will mention it to maintenance". It was difficult to sleep. 2. Our room was supposed to come with free breakfast. However, as we found out, on the weekend, the free breakfast is not in the restaurant and is a "stop and go" with only coffee and warmed croissants. Again the front desk, just smiled and said "sorry but we do have a buffet breakfast if your interested for $46/person if you would like". Kind of a bait and switch if you ask me.

Excellent experience. Staff were absolutely outstanding! Every single encounter that I had with a staff member was positive. They are courteous, attentive, professional, and they seem to genuinely like working there. I highly recommend this hotel.

It’s was my second time staying there. It was very nice, but for the price and reputation, I’m surprised that there weren’t mini fridges or microwaves which are so common these days. Also, no bottled water but you can buy it on the floor in a vending machine. Also, at times, close parking was very sparse.

I booked one night to attend my nephew's wedding reception. Plus: Impressive grounds, nice staff, outdoor dining at a reasonable price. Minus: Parking for the hotel can be a distance from the entrance. Pool closed in the middle of July for repairs?! Complementary breakfast was a croissant or bagel and juice or coffee served in the front lobby, Only small drink napkins, no full sized napkins or paper plates. A Hampton has a better offering for half the room cost. For a premier destination I would have expected much more.

It was an amazing place to rest during our road trip. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and parking was not a problem at all. The property was excellent! I will definitely recommend family and friends. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for excellent customer service!

The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast spread was nice. The Farmer's Daughter restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was exceptional. I ate there during my entire business trip and was thrilled by each meal. Try the Brussell's Sprout salad, it is really delicious.

Curieusement seule une aile de l'hôtel était disponible et il y avait des travaux dans cette ailes donc beaucoup de bruit dans la journée. Les chambres sont surannées et mériteraient un véritable rafraîchissement. Le personnel de l'hôtel n'était pas particulièrement aimable. Une grande déception.

I Highly recommend stopping at this lovely hotel. We stayed one night and continued to a nearby farm for pumpkin picking, what a gorgeous area of the world thank you for hosting us Normandy Farm!

Our experience was less than ideal. We booked what was advertised as a king suite with a separate seating area with a pullout couch for our daughter. Upon check-in, we were told that they only have a few rooms with that layout and that our room was a basic king with no pullout couch. This was really upsetting because we had specifically booked this hotel because it had a separate area for our daughter. Our room was then switched to a double queen. Then we get into our room and the bathtub shelf was dirty! It had a razor blade cover and bright blue soap scum from the last guest. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers also had several hairs on it. I was really disappointed with our overall experience. We notified the checkout desk of the subpar cleanliness at checkout and they offered nothing for us until I asked. They did ultimately waive the resort fee which was $15. Really disappointing overall
