Cabin was fine, hot tub was noisy (it runs all day and night). Hot tub had little black bugs in it. Not sure when the water was last changed. Did not use the hot tub. Get rid of the hot tub and put in a nice couch. Overall we would return for another visit. We really love the area.

Adorable cabin #4, very comfortable, had everything we needed (tv, DVD player, complete kitchen, a/c, wood burning stove, outside porch to sit at), outdoor fire pit & gathering area, small children's play area. Cabin & outdoors was a great country / woods atmosphere.

Overall a comfortable cabin that was very clean. Much smaller than I imagined. But still usable. Very disappointed that the out door gas fireplace was not working and apparently hadn't been working for a while.

Our cabin looked exactly as depicted in the images on the website. It was spacious but cozy, I liked having my own parking space and the communal area in between was well- kept.

A cozy stay in a little old cabin from @ the 50's. They definitely could use updating but the hot tub in ours made up for what was lacking. The manager is lovely, so nice to deal with, we enjoyed our stay very much.

These are older cabins but have everything one needs. There are a variety of sizes and styles. Each has some outdoor furniture. There are gas grills and a central fire pit area and playground. This is a no frills, unique group of cabins. Plenty of hot water and comfortable bedding. Quiet and safe. Pictures are a good representation.

A most relaxing place to stay! Very well appointed cabin, which was squeaky, clean! Surroundings and atmosphere very relaxing. Wonderful place to stay and I look forward to staying again next year.

Exterior of Property was very dark and hard to locate which cabin was which. Heating was out dated and didn’t work properly. Dirty washcloth was hanging behind the bathroom door. Jacuzzi water was cloudy and dirty looking.

Hot tub had floaters. To be fair the host offered to drain it and refill, but it was going to take 3 hours. We thanked her but declined and left the pump/filter running while we went to dinner. When we got back everything was clear and sanitized. The couch had quite a but of hair on it and looked like it had not been vacuumed. The cabin was tired in general but the mattress was excellent.

The cabin was clean and fully stocked. It was a very cozy, comfortable cabin and the outdoor space was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back.

I would make sure I get there before the office closes, there is a number to call posted on the main door, however the property owner is not very pleasant to speal with. The cabin was not very big, the bathroom is covered in wood and there is mold startinf to form in the shower. The kitchen and overall cabin was not clean.

The property is in a convenient area with several stores and things to do. The cabin inside has not been dusted for awhile as there were several spider webs on the walls. There was one in the living area, 2 in the shower and one in the room. Mold was present in the bathroom too. The carpet was in need of shampooing it was dirty with several large spots present. I was scared to even step on the floor for this reason. It was like playing hot lava with the floor. A deep cleaning is definitely needed in this place.

These 1930's era cabins are truely funky! Knotty pine everywhere, uneven floors, repurposed everything. What a great place! When you sleep in one of these cabins it takes you back to a place alot of city people have never seen or experienced. True, there are many modern amenities, but if you un-plug, lay back and enjoy the ambience, you won't regret it.

We were pleasantly surprised to see how clean and spacious our room was. The king size bed was very comfortable! We loved the ability to have a fire in our room and thoroughly enjoyed the lit Christmas tree. We did not request the hot tub which made noise all night. More light is needed in the bathroom.

This was a very cozy cabin (seven). Just a couple suggestions to help possibly improve cabin (seven) stays. It's pretty noisy with the street traffic. This cabin is set on the highway. I had an interview the next morning and it was hard to sleep. I would suggest finishing the wood fence to help reduce the sound. I would also suggest double pain windows also. Another suggestion, haging black out curtains to reduce the light from the morning sun. The floors needed a little bit better mopping, but after I brought this up to Melissa (the resort manager) she did enusre they would be better mopped in the future. The resort does ask for a cleaning fee which is reasonable, but I was a bit confused on what that included as we took out our own trash. I undesrstand cleaning dishes and even tidying up. However, unless staying for a long period, I thought trash would be part of the fee we paid for cleaning. Aside from those couple things. Melissa the manager is a pleasure to work with and very accomedating. She answered questions quickly and was extremly nice. The cabin istself is beautiful. I had read reviews from others stating the creaking sounds, uneveness of cabin, etc. I'm not sure what they were expecting, or if they have never been in a cabin before. The cabin is unique and homely. Great little fireplace (Duralongs only) and comfy couch. Its a cabin, not a hotel room. Overall, a great little place and would recommend to anyone. Just get one in the back.

We enjoyed the cabin. Wi-Fi was sketchy the whole time which in effect made the tv inoperable at some points. Te cabin itself was nice though and cozy. Plenty of beds to choose from. Very close to shopping areas, restaurants and bars. Kids enjoyed the little play area.

We planned a 3 night stay, unfortunately we left in less than one. Terrible Internet meant the TV froze for 10 minutes at a time and the mattress was sagged out. Did not meet our needs.

Great value, a really cool cabin in the woods. Only downside if there is one is that it was a bit noisy and the cabin itself creaks. Also, chargers were in odd locations for phone with no night stands etc. But a great value and location for a quick get away!

The cabin was a basic one room cabin with an efficiency kitchen. It was very clean and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

I stayed in one of the cabins last year for a week and absolutely loved it. This year I stayed another week and was extremely disappointed. My cabin, no. 10, had no stove, a huge hot tub which I had no desire for, missing curtains/no blinds, no chair for the vanity/desk, no tv the entire week bc of the internet, there was one fork, one spoon and two knives, and generally the cabin wasn’t well maintained. The property manager is super and did her best to accommodate me, but it was a great disappointment. Before booking, I highly suggest contacting the property manager to assure you get what you want.

My cabin was so cute and cozy, and very clean. Was quiet and the bed was very clean and comfortable. It is older, but that’s part of the charm. Melissa was very kind and helpful at check in. Will definitely be back.

This was a great stay, right near Show Low and about an hour's drive (beautiful and serene) to Greer and Mt. Baldy, where I spent most of my time. Melissa was super friendly and efficient. There was a mixup on my invoice and she handled my unnecessary outburst calmly and professionally. The cabin (#4) was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. My one and only issue was that the shower was super high and I couldn't reach it to adjust or grab the handle, so it was a little awkward. I'm sure this is a "me" problem as I'm short. Might have been nice to have a little stool nearby. This was, like I said, my *only* issue with the property. I will absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Melissa!

I have been here before and everything is wonderful. Reservation, check-in, and check-out is very easy, The atmosphere is very enjoyable and serene. Had a great time getting away for a few days. It's a great way to recharge. The Staff is very helpful.

I traveled alone with my two little doggies. The cabins are absolutely adorable and the grounds are lovely. We had a really nice, peaceful stay. The manager, Melissa, is so sweet and truly accommodating. I had unfortunate event happen during my stay and she really went above and beyond to help me out. The office assistant was super friendly as well. I'll definitely go back and recommend this place!!!

Melissa is a wonderful host. She is what makes this a 5. Possibly 100 year old cabins that are quaint and clean. When I visit the area again I will stay here. Thank you Mellissa

The host closed early. I arrived at 4:20 and the closed sign was lighted. Supposedly the office should have remained open until 5:00. So I rang the bell, waited about a minute. Host answered the door, cracked it open and was extremely curt when I had a question about the door lock entry code. She gave me the code and quickly shut the door. Pretty rude.

We enjoyed the cabin. Wi-Fi was sketchy the whole time which in effect made the tv inoperable at some points. Te cabin itself was nice though and cozy. Plenty of beds to choose from. Very close to shopping areas, restaurants and bars. Kids enjoyed the little play area.

Limited parking and close to the main road so can be noisy. But the cabin was very clean and lots of restaurants close by and great for a small walk to get the fresh air.

We had cabin 10, away from the main street which was awesome. Our cabin gave us seclusion, rest and relaxation, exactly what the doctor ordered. Parking was directly next to our cabin, awesome. I loved the use of our kitchen space, as we prepared/cooked much of our own food and enjoyed eating it in the private comfort of our Arizona room. The view of the recreation area from our AZ room was nice. The sheets and linen were clean, the bed was comfortable. The cabin is not brand new nor modern, but we weren't expecting that either. The cabin was charming, cozy, clean. We enjoyed our stay, thank you very much!

This was my first time staying at this property and it worked out great. My wife and I stayed for one night and had no issues. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. This is not a “Hotel”. The cabin we were in had a 10 gal water heater and a sign that suggested no back to back showers to give the water heater time to heat another 10 gals. This wasn’t a problem for us, my wife showered first then I waited and I showered a bit after to allow time for water heater to heat more water. If we had our children with us this definitely wouldn’t have worked. The location of the property is near the highway so you will hear the sound of vehicles driving by. We didn’t mind since we are from a major city and are used to it. The property is in the middle of town so it’s not far from anything you need. The urgent care is across the street and there are plenty of restaurants and retail shops close by. We would definitely stay here again. It was clean simple and easy to book check in and stay.

Comfortable and convenient. A little noisy with street traffic during the day, but it's too beautiful up there to stay indoors anyway.

Well I just want to say the photos of your cabin are absolutely NOT the one you are put in ...in addition the one we were put in could use some attention... Bedroom knob needs replaced - my 6 yr old grandson could not get out from the inside. The smoke detector goes off from the shower steam. Also no heaters would turn on except the bedroom. Problem is that room only sleeps 2 and everyone else is sleeping in the living room... It was a high of 58° oh yeah and when I put the curtain back in the bathroom to open the window when we showered the rod was hanging on by 1 tack... needless to say, it fell. We put it back up haphazardly...on an amazing note it was torrentially raining when we arrived and we're able to check in early 😊

Make sure you bring extension cords if you have any medical equipment you need plugged in. The cabins are near the road, but not heavy traffic.

Note that this cabin is right next to the road and you hear nonstop traffic. It had everything you need and conveniently located. The toilet was running sporadically but we fixed it and the bathroom sink drips. Water pressure is great but only 10 gal heater so no back to back showers. We enjoyed keeping the door open and it was a great spot to watch the car cavalcade.

The cabin was everything we expected. Read reviews about the street noise so we brought our sound machine and slept very well. Love being able to sit outside on the grounds surrounded by trees. I highly recommend staying here.
