The grounds are beautiful. Enjoyed the walk on the boardwalk to the beach. Nice beach to walk on. There is a beach bar which was great to have a drink and enjoy the view. Loved the villa we stayed in. Only wished the fire place was a working fireplace. We had complimentary snacks in drinks in our villa which was a nice surprise.

The setting is very pretty. Beautiful landscape! Rooms are clean & spacious. The upstairs out door bar & restaurant is casual & relaxed. It is also nice to look out over the property from up above. I will also mention breakfast there was delicious. The beach bar is perfect to sit, grab a Cocktail & a bite. Nice beach ( it is the bay). The young men & women who bring your beach chairs, towels & umbrellas to the beach are extremely hard working, as is the rest of the hotel staff. This hotel employs a very large staff. All the employees here go above & beyond to help make your stay perfect! Everyone is extremely polite, & friendly. This was so refreshing to see. Yes, we will return…. & as my husband tells me, I’m hard to please! lol

The Presidential Villas at Ocean Edge have the potential to be a premiere luxury accommodation on Cape Cod. Sadly, while the property is lovely and the mansion and the villas were once spectacular, everything is in need of renovation, care, and upgrade. The carpets in the villas are musty and the buildings smell of mold. I suspect that a different flooring option this close to the water is necessary. The bathroom facilities by the ocean were either not functional (ladies room was closed requiring women to use the men's bathroom where the toilet was no longer flushing... completely overflowing and more reminiscent of a filthy outhouse than a luxury property. Staffing during Labor Day weekend was clearly an issue as well. Beach personal did not have clean towels available, told guests to go get their own chairs, said umbrellas could not be put up due to a shift change (and never came to help assist those who arrived during said change...a major reason for us staying at this property, my husband has skin cancer and sitting unexposed in the sun is not an option). Many, many guests were upset that food and drink service on the beach was either non-existent or slow. The poor servers who were working did their best, but clearly management needs to come up with a solution and help these people out. To cap it all off, this morning, maintenance came to renovate or repair the villa beside ours...at 8 am...loudly talking, banging, slamming doors. Less than perfect all the way around.

Second stay here. Nice dining area outside on the patio to have drinks or food. Also the private beach area was lovely with chairs and umbrellas set up for you by beach staff. Did not use the pool or spa. All staff were very friendly and pleasant. Expensive but worth the splurge.

Large upscale property on the ocean, very well maintained with plenty of activities if you choose to participate. We stayed in the Mansion West Wing, and having an indoor pool and fitness area within our building meant not having to go outside in the chilly November air! We will definitely consider Ocean Edge again if we return to Cape Cod.

The international staff members are friendly, but when you are paying $1000/night+ at a resort, I expect there to be far better accommodations in the mansion, food not to ‘run out’ and accommodations when they have facility issues. Tennis courts not open when they should have been, battery on door lock died, causing me to miss a spa appointment as I couldn’t get into my room. Can’t recommend for this price point.

Staff was great. Food was great. Long walk to beach. Not on ocean's edge by far. Low tide all day. Trapped in room. Door wouldn't open! Engineer had to rescue us. Does not deserve its reputation.

Property was pretty. Main lobby was nice. But West Wing looked and felt like a motel, with unwelcoming entrance, slow elevator, and musty smell. Our room smelled like mildew and I coughed all night.

The food was good and the staff very friendly. The room was generally in good condition. There was no hot water when we arrived and had to be addressed by engineering. The bathroom tub did not drain properly. Hallway smelled like mildue.

Every employee was friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar was wonderful, the Front Lawn fun, and the Ocean Terrace was delicious and beautiful. Our room #226 in the East Wing was clean, large, quiet and beautiful. The only negative was the price - with taxes and fees $725/night.

We arrived on a busy Friday night and given very little direction on how to get to our room after a service elevator visit which made it very comical. Finally get to our room and the room is gorgeous from top to bottom. Love it. The only problem was this major musty smell.Not sure where it was coming from- it was raining and I am sure the AC had been on all season. But when we got home, absolutely everything needed to be washed as it smelled so musty. I loved everything about it but after paying a significant amount, I would want clean air and not to go home and need to wash everything I brought.

Mildew and mold smell in rooms in the mansions are not great for people with allergies to mold, suffered all wkd. Air conditioner goes on and off in rooms and is very loud, like a plane was taking off, and we didn’t sleep all wkd. If you don’t want noise above you I also don’t recommend the first floor, lots of running around at all hours of night and early morning hours. Not worth the price we paid at all.

We liked the integration of the original mansion with the updates and additions of the contemporary resort. The new buildings are thoughtfully done and beach access is wonderful. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. I enjoyed the pool but was glad it was off season. It could get crowded quickly. Surprised there were no cleaning wipes in the equipment room. We'll return.

Large room with a large bathroom.Well appointed with a nice balcony. Good bathroom lighting for make-up and easy for two people to get ready at the same time. Beds were heavenly! And every evening they came by with old school turn down service with chocolates. And when I checked out, there was a cookie thank you bag. Highly recommend.

Some staff excellent (dinner waiter Hunt) some just ok (concierge seemed not to know much). -Main restaurant great, incredible views and food. -Rooms are well appointed but a bit tired and dark on the lower level. -Golf course restaurant had good food but service and management was horrendous. Would not let us sit outside because tables were reserved... then not one table outside was seated in the whole time we were there. Avoid this restaurant, not great value.

Terrace bar and staff were lovely. Nice mansion but accommodation was a little dated

Every employee was friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar was wonderful, the Front Lawn fun, and the Ocean Terrace was delicious and beautiful. Our room #226 in the East Wing was clean, large, quiet and beautiful. The only negative was the price - with taxes and fees $725/night.

Highly recommend. From check in to check out, the service was friendly, responsive and courteous. The room was also a great surprise. Large room with a large bathroom.Well appointed with a nice balcony. Good bathroom lighting for make-up and easy for two people to get ready at the same time. Beds were heavenly! And every evening they came by with old school turn down service with chocolates. And when I checked out, there was a cookie thank you bag. Highly recommend.

Some staff excellent (dinner waiter Hunt) some just ok (concierge seemed not to know much). -Main restaurant great, incredible views and food. -Rooms are well appointed but a bit tired and dark on the lower level. -Golf course restaurant had good food but service and management was horrendous. Would not let us sit outside because tables were reserved... then not one table outside was seated in the whole time we were there. Avoid this restaurant, not great value.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly across the board. They were professional, highly efficient and so welcoming. Alex at the front desk was extraordinarily helpful, friendly and made us feel like special guests. The housekeeping staff was top notch, so kind and professional. One of the best resorts around without doubt.

The grounds are beautiful. Enjoyed the walk on the boardwalk to the beach. Nice beach to walk on. There is a beach bar which was great to have a drink and enjoy the view. Loved the villa we stayed in. Only wished the fire place was a working fireplace. We had complimentary snacks in drinks in our villa which was a nice surprise.

The setting is very pretty. Beautiful landscape! Rooms are clean & spacious. The upstairs out door bar & restaurant is casual & relaxed. It is also nice to look out over the property from up above. I will also mention breakfast there was delicious. The beach bar is perfect to sit, grab a Cocktail & a bite. Nice beach ( it is the bay). The young men & women who bring your beach chairs, towels & umbrellas to the beach are extremely hard working, as is the rest of the hotel staff. This hotel employs a very large staff. All the employees here go above & beyond to help make your stay perfect! Everyone is extremely polite, & friendly. This was so refreshing to see. Yes, we will return…. & as my husband tells me, I’m hard to please! lol

Large upscale property on the ocean, very well maintained with plenty of activities if you choose to participate. We stayed in the Mansion West Wing, and having an indoor pool and fitness area within our building meant not having to go outside in the chilly November air! We will definitely consider Ocean Edge again if we return to Cape Cod.

We liked the integration of the original mansion with the updates and additions of the contemporary resort. The new buildings are thoughtfully done and beach access is wonderful. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. I enjoyed the pool but was glad it was off season. It could get crowded quickly. Surprised there were no cleaning wipes in the equipment room. We'll return.

The international staff members are friendly, but when you are paying $1000/night+ at a resort, I expect there to be far better accommodations in the mansion, food not to ‘run out’ and accommodations when they have facility issues. Tennis courts not open when they should have been, battery on door lock died, causing me to miss a spa appointment as I couldn’t get into my room. Can’t recommend for this price point.

Are you kindling me ? Isn’t that what we overpay for in the first place is the amenities? I can not Recommend this hotel to anyone, kids were bored by day 2, food was average at best. The first day on the beach we waited OVER 2 hours for our food. The rooftop food was ehhh.. no paper towels or napkins in the hotel. I could go on but the $5k price tag for two days says enough. But check-in staff were incredibly rude to basically everyone who I saw there - our room still wasnt ready by 4pm check-in and they made it my problem that the room was not available. Multiple other families checking in at the same time all had their own complaints - another family booked with a pet and not given a pet room and now being told it was an issue when they showed up with their dog. Another family just feeling like they were rude. Never seen that before in a hotel of this pricepoint that the check-in universally seemed to leave everyone feeling annoyed. I would stay here again, just expect the staff to be rude. Except for the guys at the beach - they were awesome and super helpful.
