Cabinas Tortuguero Natural

Alfonso was very helpful to accommodate us, and also to find a place where I could make the payment by card. The house is a few steps away from the beach and everything is close by in Tortuguero. Room was spacious and comfortable. My suggestion for management will be to upgrade the common area, add a shared refrigerator, etc. Some small additions like those can upgrade the whole property by a lot.

The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, it was fee hot days when we were there and ceiling fan and separate fans were helpful. The shower water was running well and warm, if needed. Overall, happy to stay there as it feels closer to what local accomodations look like instead of a typical hotel room, so it made it a special memory

Not a fancy accommodation however it has beds and a toilet. Don’t expect anything else! No spa, no restaurant, no nothing!

Could not be closer to the beach. Green macaws in the field in front upon arrival and in the trees during morning coffee. Greeted with best papaya batido of whole trip.

Met by very friendly and helpful staff and a welcome cold fruit drink. We were given lots of information about local attractions and help with our ongoing travel plans. Accommodation was comfortable and spacious.
