Wonderful hospitality, kind staff, thoughtful recommendations and helpful suggestions. We made a 1-night stay as part of a quick visit to Greece and are already looking to return. Hotel Santorini is conveniently located near the bus station, ensuring easy and inexpensive transportation to Oia, where impressive photos of the sunset can be captured. We took an easy walk from the hotel, picking a few scenic places (3-bells, Fira Lookout, Imerovigli viewpoint, and it tool only about 25-35 minutes walking) the breeze and the lovely shade from the building walls near the sea helped keep us from getting too hot - despite the July heat. A quick return to the hotel for cool showers and blessed a/c, cool waters from the fridge. Above and beyond: Nicolas at the front desk responded to our request for an early morning transfer to the port by offering to have a breakfast-to-go packed and ready for us the evening before. It was so kind, and so appreciated!

Extremely disappointing stay – absolutely not worth £90 a night. I am highly dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. For £90 a night, the quality was completely unacceptable. First of all, the shower area is ridiculously small. Even as a petite person (163 cm tall and weighing 50 kg), I found it incredibly cramped and uncomfortable. It uses a cheap plastic shower curtain, and the curtain rod looked so unstable that it felt like it could fall down at any moment. To make matters worse, the bathroom cleanliness was awful—the bath mat were visibly dirty. The amenities were also lacking. There was no hairdryer and no bottled water provided in the room. On top of that, the Wi-Fi reception was extremely poor and barely usable. My sleep was also completely disrupted. On Sunday, loud church bells started ringing every single hour from 8:00 AM onwards. Then, at 9:30 AM, housekeeping knocked on my door while I was still asleep. Charging £90 a night for this kind of service and quality is an absolute rip-off. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Good points : friendly and professional staff, good breakfast, large room, well-located hotel near the main bus station of Fira. Bad points : hotel which is really (really) old, presence of mold in many places in the room and bathroom, the room needed to be completely repainted, there was no elevator, no breakfast buffet, hot chocolate was an extra charge at breakfast, and storing luggage in the storage room was an extra charge.
Good points : friendly and professional staff, good breakfast, large room, well-located hotel near the main bus station of Fira. Bad points : hotel which is really (really) old, presence of mold in many places in the room and bathroom, the room needed to be completely repainted, there was no elevator, no breakfast buffet, hot chocolate was an extra charge at breakfast, and storing luggage in the storage room was an extra charge.
