Sweetwater is a small town but still has plenty of places to dine. Lazy beagle was great. This little hotel is right on the Main Street and is in a fantastic location. Easy parking. Specific keypad entry worked perfect. Very nostalgic feel to the place.

These rooms are super cute. The ad on hotels.com it states that they don’t have an elevator but my own assumption I was imagining that it was a single floor and I was wrong. Carrying my suitcase up the flight of stairs was challenging with a bad back but I will call ahead of time if they don’t have an elevator and confirm. The only downfall is the news. I started out in the archer room which is the closet to the street and the regularity of it would keep someone up all night. I reached out to the property manager and she did move me to a room further away from the road which was nice. I didn’t hear the train again until 4:00 am and have been awake since. Since it is also an older building you hear everything. Neighboring rooms were slamming door and I sense they had children running up and down the hall. The slamming of the door wasn’t a gentle slam but I’m mad and making a point slamming the door. I rechecked the ad on hotels.com several times and asked the property manager where it states anything about the train as the response they have had to other reviews. She wasn’t able to point me to where the warning was on the site because I would never have stayed. She was very kind. But I wouldn’t never have stayed due to the train. I had been driving all day and I just wanted to sleep to continue driving today which was an utter fail. However, the beds are super comfortable so it could be a great place of the noise was under control at all.

Quaint boutique hotel in downtown Sweetwater. Small LR with kitchen. Separate bedroom with huge king size bed - very comfortable. Old time decor, interesting. Modern and immaculate bathroom with Shower. I am glad to have stumbled across it on hotels.com and wish we’d had more time to enjoy it.

This was a hidden gem. The room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the flavored coffee creamers and ceramic mugs for my coffee. We loved being able to walk two doors down for dinner and drinks.

Clean and beautiful room. 10/10 interior design. Very comfortable bed, clean couch, and restroom. Only downside is that there were trains with horn every 30 minutes across the street throughout the night. The noise pollution was uncomfortable. The room provided complimentary ear plugs and white noise player, thankfully.

Hands down, my new favorite place to stay. Such a cute room and it really has a lot of handy features, little kitchen area with microwave, sink and refrigerator. The coffee area. The bathroom is big and has a great layout. Plus being on what I think is one of the main streets, you can walk to The Lazy Beagle (excellent food and super friendly staff there), there's also an Italian place to eat, we were told it also has very good food, but didn't eat there ourselves. Now, we are planning another stay here so we can wander around the town and visit the shops. Very cute place.

Great location for downtown shopping and dining. The apartment was adorable! We loved the atmosphere, the decor, loved it all. Its is noisy but they give you complimentary ear plugs.

I absolutely loved the character of this place. It is very cute and we would stay again. We had an issue with the shower and didn’t have hot water for a period of time on Saturday morning. It was addressed quickly, so we appreciated that. The floors are very squeaky, but as long as you like true character the location is amazing on the “Sweetest Street!” Our bed was very comfortable in the Tin W room and we weren’t at all bothered by street noise. The people of the town were so nice and we had a pizza shaped like a heart one night and biscuits shaped like a heart one morning! I wasn’t sure if this was a thing all the time or because we were so close to Valentines Day? Sweetwater is a lovely small town!

Remedies Inn has a lot of character and charm. It is a very comfortable, stylish and roomy place to stay. It is not for someone that cannot tolerate stairs. I stayed in the Archer Suite which is lovely and overlooks Main St. The gazebo has Christmas songs playing during the day. So sweet! The downside is there are loud trains a couple times a night and no closet to hang clothes. They do have hooks on the back of the door. The positives by far outweigh the rest! Loved it!!!

This area around Christmas time is just beautiful, and such a unique place. You can park right off the street, and walk in off the sidewalk to go straight up the stairs to the second floor. The rooms have a vintage, or historical decor with all the modern conveniences. I loved the McCrary room with the large windows facing Main Street. However, I did not rest well between the hourly train coming through, and many other emergency vehicles. Ear plugs were provided, but I can't stand anything in my ears. All that said, I loved this place so much that I would definitely stay again!

The room was exactly as advertised. It’s in an older building BUT it’s immaculately decorated. 10 out of 10. The bed is comfortable and the kids liked the pull out sofa bed (also very comfortable). Things you need to know -it’s in a small town with small town vibes, -it has an active train line across a two lane road and a parking lot (kids LOVED the train… it makes train sounds). -I would definitely stay again.

This was a delightful property! It's in a historic building. The room had been updated and is very nice and comfortable. There is a train nearby that is a bit loud, but overall this room is awesome!!

I started out in the archer room which is the closet to the street and the regularity of it would keep someone up all night. I reached out to the property manager and she did move me to a room further away from the road which was nice. I didn’t hear the train again until 4:00 am and have been awake since. Since it is also an older building you hear everything. Neighboring rooms were slamming door and I sense they had children running up and down the hall. The slamming of the door wasn’t a gentle slam but I’m mad and making a point slamming the door. I rechecked the ad on hotels.com several times and asked the property manager where it states anything about the train as the response they have had to other reviews. She wasn’t able to point me to where the warning was on the site because I would never have stayed. She was very kind. But I wouldn’t never have stayed due to the train. I had been driving all day and I just wanted to sleep to continue driving today which was an utter fail. However, the beds are super comfortable so it could be a great place of the noise was under control at all.
These rooms are super cute. The ad on hotels.com it states that they don’t have an elevator but my own assumption I was imagining that it was a single floor and I was wrong. Carrying my suitcase up the flight of stairs was challenging with a bad back but I will call ahead of time if they don’t have an elevator and confirm. The only downfall is the news. I absolutely loved the character of this place. It is very cute and we would stay again. We had an issue with the shower and didn’t have hot water for a period of time on Saturday morning. It was addressed quickly, so we appreciated that. The floors are very squeaky, but as long as you like true character the location is amazing on the “Sweetest Street!” Our bed was very comfortable in the Tin W room and we weren’t at all bothered by street noise. The people of the town were so nice and we had a pizza shaped like a heart one night and biscuits shaped like a heart one morning! I wasn’t sure if this was a thing all the time or because we were so close to Valentines Day? Sweetwater is a lovely small town!

Found this jewel while traveling home from a work trip. Convenient location with several gas and food options. The Lost Sea is right down the road. Room was super comfortable and well decorated--felt very at home here. This Room (The Archer) is on the road front--you can and will hear some traffic and hear the train that passes, but no complaints from us. Easy contact, easy check in and check out. Several amenities that you'd find in a home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The room we stayed in was quite comfortable. I think they should disclose about the trains up front. I didn’t see anything about them when I booked. Other than that the room was fine. The town is very quaint.

Everything was great! The history of the hotel was well-integrated into the decor while still being extremely classy. After checking in I immediately wished we were staying more than one night (it was a through point on our trip). One note is that there are trains that go by early in the morning and it is loud. However, the hotel covered that by providing ear plugs and white noise machine. Overall, the entire experience was delightful.

Cute little rustic hotel just double check the room capacity. I selected a room for a family of 5 and the room was only equipped with a king bed & loveseat with no pullout. The staff was quick to respond & brought 2 pullouts but we only used 1 cuz the room was too small to use both.

Sweetwater is a small town but still has plenty of places to dine. Lazy beagle was great. This little hotel is right on the Main Street and is in a fantastic location. Easy parking. Specific keypad entry worked perfect. Very nostalgic feel to the place.

This was a hidden gem. The room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the flavored coffee creamers and ceramic mugs for my coffee. We loved being able to walk two doors down for dinner and drinks.

This area around Christmas time is just beautiful, and such a unique place. You can park right off the street, and walk in off the sidewalk to go straight up the stairs to the second floor. The rooms have a vintage, or historical decor with all the modern conveniences. I loved the McCrary room with the large windows facing Main Street. However, I did not rest well between the hourly train coming through, and many other emergency vehicles. Ear plugs were provided, but I can't stand anything in my ears. All that said, I loved this place so much that I would definitely stay again!

Hands down, my new favorite place to stay. Such a cute room and it really has a lot of handy features, little kitchen area with microwave, sink and refrigerator. The coffee area. The bathroom is big and has a great layout. Plus being on what I think is one of the main streets, you can walk to The Lazy Beagle (excellent food and super friendly staff there), there's also an Italian place to eat, we were told it also has very good food, but didn't eat there ourselves. Now, we are planning another stay here so we can wander around the town and visit the shops. Very cute place.

Stairs into the property are very long and steep. Some travelers may find this unacceptable. Room was nice and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioner noise was welcome as trains go by nearby. A few things could have made the experience better: a sponge and paper towels in the kitchen area, a bigger shelf in the bathroom and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. I also wish we had known that there is no where nearby to get breakfast as all stores seemed to open late. Had we known I could have brought more food. Lunch and dinner restaurants are nearby. No info was provided for walk through the historic area. It is lovely and was a highlight of our time there. Felt safe while there and we could have our small dog with us which was a plus!

Parking was great- free! Lovely small town feel! Loved the spacious room and everything by was clean and beautiful!! Totally worth it! One down side- train runs ALL night so definitely use the ear plugs they provide! Ha ha!!

Great stay. Parking was free and easy to find, we were able to park right in front of the door to the hotel. Room was clean and very neat, much more character than a normal hotel room. We will definitely stay here again when we are passing through.
