Hôtel Travelodge by Wyndham Victoriaville

The hotel was ok but endemic of the Wyndham brand which is in need of updating. The breakfast room was upstairs so difficult for those with accessibility issues. The breakfast room was bright, serving a European style breakfast , nice croissants

The best part of our stay was the afternoon/evening staff who were great and very helpful! Other than that though, I don't think we'd stay there again. The facility is aging and there's been work done to update and refresh it, but that only goes so far. The parking in front of the building in the evening was full. We thought at first it was guests, but it turned out to be for the very popular restaurant that uses the same parking lot. This isn't a problem during the day. When we opened the door to our room, we immediately noticed a musty smell. A few minutes in the room and it wasn't noticeable anymore, but noticed it every time we came back into our room. The room looked nice and had modern-looking furniture including a dresser, side tables, a couch, a king bed, and a desk with leather chair. The bathroom was dated and the sink was not in where the toilet and shower/tub were. Washing our hands at night was noisy and done with no light. There was also no fan in the bathroom. The shower was great though - decently powerful. Lots of pillows and there were extra ones stored in the closet area. The TV was terrible - wouldn't turn on with the remote and then was blurry with a line in it. The black out curtains didn't reach down far enough which let to much morning light in. King bed was very comfortable though and the AC worked great. The wifi was not password protected. Its inexpensive and not the worst stay, but I don't think we'd stay there again.

No elevator...we are 75. We don't like separate bathroom sink outside of the bathroom. But it was clean, close to dining, and met our needs.

Not very clean, air conditionning controls broken. The food is on the second floor and there is no elevator, innaccessible for people in a wheelchair. Dissapointing place

Ce Travelodge est un hôtel bien situé, propre et tranquille. Cependant les matelas deux lits montraient des signes de fatigue et le téléviseur ne fonctionnait pas. La salle de bain était bien et fonctionnelle avec la vanité à l'extérieur. Le chauffage fonctionnait adéquatement. Ici, il faut tenir compte qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur pour monter au deuxième palier. Il y a suffisamment de stationnement sur place. Le personnel y était courtois. Le petit déjeuner compris dans le forfait était bien et la petite salle à manger et son petit bar étaient des plus agréables à visiter. En résumé, en y apportant une certaine amélioration, cet établissement peut devenir un lieu d'hébergement de bonne qualité en Victoriaville.

The room was clean enpugh but in need of a reno badly. I waited 30 mins for a person to show..called 3 times as well as i was standing there. Young man although friendly was not great at english and seemed a little lost. Finally sorted out...the oarking lot had huge pot holes when leaving i lost a hub cap and hopefully no more damage.

Below average quality at reception desk. Not a warm and friendly welcome. Ok rooms,,, restaurant is closed.

Moisissures partout au plafond, aucune ventilation, air climatisé non fonctionnel depuis probablement des années vu le modèle, fenêtres qui ne s'ouvrent pas... Les serviettes ne s'échaient même pas après 24h tellement la chambre puait l'humidité, les oreillers tachés de rouge à lèvres, les draps avec des "spots" brunâtres "louches"... Le personnel qui ne sait pas comment ouvrir ma reservation, alors ils en créent deux autres a mon nom, même pas pour les bonnes dates que j'avais réservées avec Expédia... La dame qui m'annonce que je dois quitter ma chambre 1 journée plus tôt pour cette raison, et qui ne fait que me répéter en boucle "je peux rien faire, arrangez-vous avec Expédia!",et qui veut me charger une journée de plus (que j'avais déjà payée) "si il lui en reste" pendant que tous mes baggages sont à l'interieur et que je suis au travail... Perte de temps, service horrible, moisissure partout, mauvaise organisation, personnel incompétent... Par contre, l'employé Eden a été absolument merveilleux et aidant quand je lui ai parlé!

Les draps sentais mauvais, il y avais du caca dans le bas du cardre de porte de la salle de bain le meuble tv on ouvrais le tiroir du haut le deuxième et la porte ouvrais en meme temps vraiment ine mauvaise expérience

Pillows had stains, floor felt damp, beds were uncomfortable, very run down rooms and building. Expensive for what you get.

It was OK, lamps were not plugged in, one was out of order. We couldn't out the TV on. Carpet so so. Welcome staff OK.

Proche des commerces, il y a un ordeur de "vieux" bâtiment dans le couloir. Le climat est assez bruyant.

La salle de bain est mal conçue. Le lavabo est à l'extérieur et il n'y a pas de support pour mettre les serviettes et pas de vanité pour déposer les articles de toilettes. Une des 2 lampes de chevet ne fonctionnait pas tout comme la lampe sur le bureau qui aurait permis de recharger les téléphones.

L'hôtel est vieillissant, les chambres sont figées dans le temps, quelque part en 1990. L'isolation acoustique est médiocre, vous entendez tout les bruits de plomberie, les bruits de pas, les enfants qui courent, les portes qui claquent... Étant donné que le prix payé était très concurrentiel, je ne m'attendais pas à plus mais il faut absolument être informé de la situation.

Property looks old from outside. However, it is good inside. bed covers are old, TV not upgraded. So, not entertaining and not good sleep.

L'hôtel est très propre et les lits confortables. Le gros problème pour moi c'est qu'il n'y a aucune ventilation dans les chambres, même pas dans la salle de bain. L'appareil de ventilation ne fonctionne que l'été pour l'air climatisé. Pour moi c'est inadmissible, j'avais l'impression d'être comme enfermée dans un garde-robe... Dommage car pour le reste c'est très bien.

Bed was comfortable. Quiet environment. Breakfast, nothing fancy, good enough. The room was stuffy. No window to open. Looked like AC off for tje winter.

The bed was very comfortable and I liked the shower head as you could move the shower head to the massage function. I did find that there was a musty smell in the room. The breakfast was fine.

Room was clean and comfortable. Check in and out was efficient and trouble free.

Désuet Ne font pas le ménage à chaque jour. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés le soir au motel le lendemain, lit canon fait, serviettes non remplacées, aucuns verres ni tasses propres ni cafés. Plus que « cheap « . Nous ne reviendrons jamais à cet hôtel.

Ma chambre n'était pas nettoyer. Les lits étaient défaits et déchets d'ancien clients... Ils nous ont donner un autre chambre mais avec seulement un lit.. j'avais demander DEUX lit..

I had 2 reservations for the next 5 nights. The front desk made the arrangements so that we can stay in the same room for the entire duration of our stay

Very mean and unprofessional staff. We arrived at the hotel around 11pm after 7 hours of driving from Moncton New Brunswick. We thought our reservation is all good because Expedia said confirmed. We had total 3 rooms booked. At the desk night staff person Olivia and Trent told us one of our room booking was cancelled. We showed them confirmation from Expedia and they said it shows cancelled in their system. After a while they said 2 rooms are confirmed but they gave away one of the room to someone else. So now we only had one good room. We argued about this mismanagement and Olivia started being rude and asked us to go and check other hotels that were double the price. She said she is the manager of hotel and that’s her final decision. In the end after lot of arguing they ended up giving us 2 rooms but said one of the room’s toilet flush is not working so we will have to manage it. We were total 12 people sleeping in 2 rooms. And had to manage with toilet situation. We all woke up exhausted and moved on. In the morning we complained about this to other morning staff member and found that Olivia was not even manager. She lied. She is just employee. I thought Wyndham is a reputable chain, but was a big surprise hiring such unprofessional staff. Only Trent was little helpful and was helping us arranging extra beds in 2 rooms. Olivia should be fired. I am sure she has a history like this. I see lot of negative reviews about this hotel. I wish I read them before going here.

Credit card reader not working properly at the desk. (Reccuring problem as per clerk’s words). Need to register even if you registered on line.(sorry, we’re not linked with the online pre-register option, as per clerk’s words) No electronic device dock station in the room. No HD resolution TV!

Clean and close to shopping but needs to be upgraded

J’ai trouvé que c’était plus difficile de le trouver car se trouve derrière le restaurant et on ne voit pas l enseigne c est pire le soir

Washrooms have no fan. Cracked paint in a few spots. No easy access to the hotel from the main road.

Déjeuner limité et qualité des aliments laissant à désirer. Il n’y avait pas grand choix et ces choix étaient rationnés. Ils tardaient à remplacer les aliments manquant…et sortaient les refill du congélateur en les faisant décongeler au micro onde. Eau de la douche pas très chaude.

choix judicieux pour Victoriaville. Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Personnel des plus sympathiques et courtois. Hotel propre, confortable avec un excellent petit déjeuner des plus diversifiés.

The room was clean but the bathroom fixtures were falling apart. This hotel is in need of a makeover. Breakfast was non existent. The staff is very friendly though. My son found the gentleman running the night desk very entertaining to talk to and now feels Victoriaville is a friendly place to visit. Good work!
