The location of this unite was extremely nice. Walk to the village and gondola for easy access to skiing. However the condition of the property is poor. The bathroom in the unite has cracks in the in the dry wall and the sink leeks water. The furnishings are dated and worn. Back door to the hot tube deck is a nice convinces but it gets caught on the rock planter and has to be forced to open. Also the blinds on this door are broken and the door handle. The hot tub is the biggest disappointment. The jets are not working and the finish in the tube is cracking and peeling not to mention all the dirt and gravel in the bottom of the tub. After skiing all daytime Hot Tube is the one amenity that we want for our stay and this one failed terribly.

Fraser Crossing Founders Pointe is a very nice hotel set at the base area of Winter Park resort, just across the street essentially. The hotel itself is pleasant with a nice patio area with a large hot tub, a fireplace area, grills, and plenty of seating. From the back door of our 3rd floor room we walked right onto the patio and in a few steps were in the hot tub. From that hot tub patio area you look right at the beautiful ski runs and gondola, and the great village area at the mountain base. The staff at Fraser Crossing Founders Pointe were really great and willing to help at any time. The only issue I had (and others as well) was the parking situation. It's perfectly adequate and convenient when you get in, but getting in, and out, can definitely be a problem with the code system that allows you in and out. We had problems with this as did others while we were there.

We prefer to have a card to open the doors. The parking garage "QR" codes and the lengthy code for opening the front door before 8 am, when you have your hands full with Starbucks, was slightly acrobatic. Sometimes the reader takes a while to scan your phone QR, while people have qued up behind you.

The staff was exceptional, and I truly appreciated their service, especially Iggy. However, I was disappointed to find that the hot tub was out of service for the entire week. I understand that maintenance issues can arise, but I was not informed that the hot tub would be unavailable either before booking or upon my arrival. Transparency about this would have helped manage expectations, and I feel a partial refund would be a fair resolution given the circumstances.

Great location. Room was way too warm. Even with the windows open at all times and a box fan in the window it was still too warm. Room cleanliness was questionable (found the previous occupant's makeup applicator on the bathroom floor). Otherwise the room was nice, quiet, and had decent views. Disappointing for the price point and will likely look elsewhere in the future.

The hotel had no A/C and this was not noted at check-in or prior during the reservation process. It was hot and stcky at best. There was dust everywhere and it did not look like the room had been cleaned recently. Rugs were dusty. Bedding was in poor shape and dirty. This room needs a complete update including the bathroom. Everything appeared to have been new in 1988. We left after only one night due to the heat and condition of the room. Could not recommend this unless it was updated.

Great customer service. Check in was easy and efficient. Wonderful communication. Rooms clean and nice and had everything you would need. No AC, but it's not always as hot as it's been. Somethings are too good to be true. This property is highly over rated. We came to ride Trestle bike park for a third year in a row. We were excited by the lower price point for this place compared to renting a cabin, camping or staying in a nicer hotel. Don’t be fooled, you’re renting someone else’s condo and better off camping in a tent. (With good gear) The unit we were given, the bed was rock hard like sleeping on cardboard. The walls, paper thin. We could hear the neighbor guests on the phone talking, fighting with their kids, every door latch opening or close, every knock around you, every toilet flush. And more! No a/c either! We thought we found a good deal, I’d rather pay hundreds more to stay elsewhere or camp in a tent. I only slept 4.5 hours in 2 days because of the above. it was my birthday bike trip to ride bikes at trestle, the top 3 bike parks in North America. Next year I’d rather go camping or rent a full house like I’ve done in years past. This place was not as it was marketed as. I had no idea I was renting someone else’s not great condo. I recommend Gravity Haus, the a-frame club and many other properties I’ve stayed at in winter park for bike trips over this property. Or even camping over this place. I’ve done all the above and beyond. I’ll return to trestle/winter park a few times this year, but I refuse to stay here again.

Weather was gorgeous during our trip. The room was nice and had every thing we needed, however, check in directions are very unclear. You should note to check in at the Zephyr Mtn Lodge across the street. We spent 15 minutes trying to figure out the check in process while carrying heavy bags with no direction other than parking. The internet in our room went out twice on each night we were there, the breaker for the ceiling fan blew multiple times causing the ceiling light and fan to not work and the bed is terribly uncomfortable. We actually slept on the living room floor and couch the last night because the bed was so painful

Lovely location. Very responsible staff. But…shower and sink were almost completely clogged (staff did come and fixed it when I asked). The convection oven part of the microwave did not work (really messed up our dinner plans) and the fireplace did not work. Also, the sofa bed needs a new mattress …very uncomfortable. The kitchen had nice pans. Good amount of plates and silverware. But…no mug big enough for a real cup of tea. Plenty of nice towels. Very good shower head. And the BEST bathtub of any condo!

Our studio condo room was decent, about the size of a nice hotel room. The condos are privately owned, I believe, and the owner of our room (4567) probably should have replaced the mattress 10 years ago! Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on in a hotel room or rental. I sagged into it as if in a hammock.

Reserved it on Expedia. Expedia does not give you the correct Confirmation number to be able to check in online. Had to contact WP resort to get the right confirmation number. Other than this, EXCELLENT property. Will definitely stay again.

We prefer to have a card to open the doors. The parking garage "QR" codes and the lengthy code for opening the front door before 8 am, when you have your hands full with Starbucks, was slightly acrobatic. Sometimes the reader takes a while to scan your phone QR, while people have qued up behind you.

Our experience with the check-in process was frustrating and disappointing. There was no reception or accessible customer support at the designated check-in time, and resolving the access issue took several hours, which was very inconvenient. That said, once we got past the initial challenges, the rest of our stay was fantastic. The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking snow-covered scenery and plenty of activities to enjoy. The gondola rides and Coca-Cola Tubing were highlights of the trip, offering so much fun for all ages. The dining options in the area were diverse and delicious, making it easy to find something for everyone. A special mention goes to the staff at the Winter Park Village stores—they were incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel welcome and appreciated. Despite the rocky start, we had a wonderful time enjoying everything this destination has to offer and would recommend it to others, with the hope that the check-in process is improved in the future. Staying here requires that you download an app and pre-register. The building itself has no front desk. We went in and looked all around before realizing that there is a check in desk across the street which still seems to make you do things on the app. Ultimately, you will get a numeric code you need to punch in every time to get into the room and scan a bar code to get into the garage. Was honestly a big pain in the ass.

Great customer service. Check in was easy and efficient. Wonderful communication. Rooms clean and nice and had everything you would need. No AC, but it's not always as hot as it's been. Opened windows and room had fans. Would stay here again and also recommend for families, couples. Anyone. Good location.

Located near the base of Winterpark ski resort and only 3 miles from Fraser, where most restaurants and shopping are. Easy underground parking. Our studio condo room was decent, about the size of a nice hotel room. The condos are privately owned, I believe, and the owner of our room (4567) probably should have replaced the mattress 10 years ago! Worst mattress I’ve ever slept on in a hotel room or rental. I sagged into it as if in a hammock.

Fantasic place to stay! The only thing to note is do your research before booking. Parking can be a challenge when you're not sure where to go and snow is covering everything 🙂 Staff is extremely helpful! Personally the only other thing to note is the restaurant Goodys creperie made my entire family sick. Maybe it was an off day or maybe our tastes are different. Just a heads up. One last thing, make sure and grab a wagon. Winter Park provides them and they are extremely helpful lugging around your gear after a long day. Have fun and ski safe!

Very nice accommodations all around. We didn't have to leave the property for anything the entire time we were there. Food and shopping were within easy walking distance, and the restaurant options were plentiful. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of traveling. The kitchenette was well appointed and had everything we needed. Only negative was nearby road construction was not easy to navigate, but I wouldn't hold that against the resort.

The room was very good but the check-in was horrendous. There’s two different buildings and the instructions and building signage is vague at best. When I called the number for assistance I was told that I had not completed the form for parking (was never told about any form). He sends me the form and it states that’s it’s $100/ night for parking. I call back to ask about it and the response is “ yea it’s really high”. So we have to unload our bags on the curb, I go park a block away in a dirt parking lot and then walk back to try to get into the bldg. it took us 1.5 hours to get into our room with no less than 5 calls to “the front desk”wherever that was.

Founders Point/Fraser Crossing is such a great property! I've stayed there in the winter during ski season as well as in the fall to view the changing aspens. The units are well appointed with everything you need, including a kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself if you want to. The large outdoor hot tubs are great after a day on the slopes or a day on the many hiking trails in the area. It's very convenient to the Winter Park base to hop right on the Gondola, do some window shopping, or find a place to eat.

I was surprised that we were given a room at ground level when there appear to have been many rooms open that may have had a view of the mountains. We were very disappointed about this. Of all the available rooms, looking out at the bushes on side of the property would not have been my expectation.
