* Poor service. The hotel staff could not book taxi for us, they could only provide number. Also housekeeping did not provide towels when cleaning so we had to ask for new ones. * Poor isolation of doors to room, which was not nice at night. * The pool area was under renovation which we were not informed of when booking the stay. You could still use the pool but not very nice to do when renovation was done at the same time.

6 days stay in Goa, hotel was clean and the food was above average. Only downside was the electricity in the local area would cut out for a minute, eight times daily. However, this did not spoil our stay. The staff were very attentive, especially Satarupa who was very informative and made us feel welcomed and Akash the bartender, was very pleasant and knowledgeable making cocktails. The following chief’s - Lekmath and Pramod Kumar went out of their way and prepared specificality foods to our taste.

First room was the normal Deluxe Room, I suggest get the one with the Balcony so you don’t have to listen to the music 8am-10pm all day, also you may have the chance to not hear the people in the pool. Breakfast was Indianstyle good, you had also fruits and bread beside a good variety of veg food. The reception did the best also to extend my stay without further issues however a new booking does not guarantee that you can go earlier into the room but they made it possible. Thank you.

It was a very amazing and memorable experience. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Neat and clean property. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean even though it was raining heavily all the 3 days of our stay, the pool water was clear as crystal. The buffet breakfast was also good. Overall we were taken good care of. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

We stayed at 2 different hotels while in Goa but this was our favorite Hotel. We actually stayed for 10 nights that is how much we loved it. We were treated like GOLD !! Would Highly Highly recommend this Hotel. From the front desk staff named Aakash to the bartender also named Aakash to the amazing staff in the buffet !

We had a pleasant stay at the Marriott. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was nice with a lot of options including vegetarian and vegan options. The locations was good and roughly a 15 minute walk from the beach. Overall the room was very clean although for some reason the surfaces were not cleaned. There was some confusion when we checked in initially about whether we had booked the breakfast which I had to confirm I had booked and paid for. However, this was sorted promptly. There was also construction works going on directly across from our balcony within the hotel grounds which we were not informed of or compensated for. Sound proofing in the room was also not great and we could hear the guests and TV in the room next door. We did flag this up and ask for a room move which was not accommodated as unfortunately the other rooms were apparently fully booked. Despite these shortcomings we did have a nice stay.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Our stay at the property was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was good size with a nice balcony. The ambience around the lobby and dining area was also very good. Food is excellent but sometimes we found some of the dishes cold during the morning breakfast. The staff are very nice. However, some of them could do with a bit more smile and remembering requests but nevertheless they are very good. A couple of issues though: the bathroom could do with a bit of refurbishment especially the tiles in the shower area which looked not that clean around the corners. Secondly, the taxi drivers booked via the GoaMiles app are reluctant to come to the hotel as they say they get intimidated by the taxi drivers outside who are not signed up to that app and who charge atleast 1.5 times more than what is shown by the app. Overall, it was a relaxing experience. Have to ask for simple thing like forks and knives to multiple waiters before actually getting it. For room service I ordered a desert, which was supposed to come with ice cream, but never came with it and when I asked them about the ice cream, they didn’t even know that it came with ice cream until I argued about what it said on the menu. I did had a chat with one of the managers there he was pretty helpful and made it up for the experience but the whole point is why do I have to approach a manager for my experience. Overall, I would say the rooms are decent clean, average Marriott quality. But the service is not at par.

The staff, especially the Chefs, Krishnandu Bannerjee, Shri Darti, were extremely helpful asking us about our stay and what we would like. All the staff were also helping out. However the rooms in the hotel are too small and it is in a congested locality.

The staff are young and need training. First day we had 3 different servers for lunch nd no one is serving nothing. Second day for breakfast same thing and I asked the Manager for service and he states go serve yourself!!! The third day we left- though we booked for 4 days.

First and foremost, all staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We had a pleasure able stay and experience. Daily breakfast was great with attentive staff. The staff at the hotel are rude. They dont care about their guest. Any request to housekeeping takes them 15 min to deliver. Breakfast area is overcrowded. No glasses for juice or bowls. Nilanjana at the breakfast counter just stands there i asked her for a bowel she said okay and rolled her eyes. The staff is not approcable. Gufran is the duty manager asked for another room i was willing to pay he said he will check and let me know but he never got back. Except for shweta who was very helpful and hardworking at the breakfast buffet. My stay was not at all comfortable it was more like a tourture following up for everything by myself. Most pathetic vacation ever.

Good property, very friendly and attentive staff, wonderful breakfast. Location is not good if getting to beaches and shacks are the primary intent of the stay. Calangute beach is at least a 15 minute walk and Candolim is further apart. Common App based taxis were not available, which made commute a bit of challenge.

Ubicación muy buena cerca de calangute que es de las zonas más turísticas, está a 10 min caminando de varios restaurantes y la playa, fueron muy amables en darnos recomendación de alimentos y lugares nocturnos, el personal siempre atento de nuestras necesidades, el camino para llegar a la playa está un poco descuidado pero todo lo demás fue perfecto.

We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed our stay. Staff was very well behaved and always their to assist. Deepak and Chef Yoginder are very cordial and made sure each guest is at ease. Property is situated at perfect location and all beaches are accessible within 15/20 min.

I was supposed to get complimentary beers which I had to ask for and was told that I would receive on the first day, but never received it until I asked for it again the following day. Then coming onto to the breakfast buffet the service is slow again. I also had a experience where I had asked for a particular item. I never received it for the day and end up leaving for the day. Have to ask for simple thing like forks and knives to multiple waiters before actually getting it. For room service I ordered a desert, which was supposed to come with ice cream, but never came with it and when I asked them about the ice cream, they didn’t even know that it came with ice cream until I argued about what it said on the menu. I did had a chat with one of the managers there he was pretty helpful and made it up for the experience but the whole point is why do I have to approach a manager for my experience. Overall, I would say the rooms are decent clean, average Marriott quality. But the service is not at par.

Wonderful hotel from facilities, pool , room and breakfast just superb location ideal All above is great but people make all the difference and at the Fairfield Marriott Caligute the staff team was first class Sangria Pal was a stand out
