Great location, lovely room, superb food, wonderful staff!

The room was very comfortable, people friendly, the pub ambience good - I was happy to sit alone, the food on the whole very good. Minor gripes - an overly complicated towel heater which proved imposible to turn off and heated the entire room, a slightly too heavy duvet (but what can you forecast about early March?) and slightly undercooked poached eggs, which led to an unsolicited discount. Very convenient for where I needed to be.

Lovely bathroom, great coffee maker and very friendly staff. Could get BBC iPlayer on TV (but no streaming)

Well appointed rooms with excellent amenities. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed and bedding. Food is outstanding with a great choice of fresh fish
