Riverside Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a good size for a single person or couple. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but that's just personal preference. There is no food of any kind in the hotel (no vending machines, no breakfast items other than coffee), but they do provide a list of local options and several are very close by. This wasn't a problem for me. Downtown Brattleboro is just a short drive away. Overall, I thought the Riverside was lovely and a great value and would stay there again.

The rooms are very spacious. Not your typical cookie cutter motel room design. Felt genuinely relaxed in the space. They do not have smart TV’s so no streaming available, was told upgrades are planned for spring. Not a deal breaker for me during this stay but just something to note. River views and balconies drew me to choose this property. Proximity to hiking areas but also Convenient to Brattleboro for funky downtown shops and restaurants. Recommend Echo Lounge for good food and drinks. Highly recommend staying here.

Such a nice hotel, beautiful scenery and clean. Only wish there were microwave ovens in the room, they do have a mini fridge.

What a gem of a boutique hotel. Staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. The room was fantastic and very clean. It was very spacious with gorgeous wood floors and probably the most comfortable hotel bed my husband and I have ever slept in. As it was winter we didn’t spend much time outdoors but the view of the river is gorgeous and we will absolutely be back in the warmer months for at least a few nights.
