The proximity to Washington Street, where there are multiple eating and drinking options, was only a block. The pool area was like a resort! Huge pool! The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The interior design was very nice with large viewing lounge, billards room, and attached art gallery. There was limited food available on site, but there was small bar and bistro with some options. Free onsite parking in a multiple level garage. Overall, I would stay here to enjoy downtown Vicksburg!

This was a very clean hotel and a fun stay. The only issue we had was that the ice machines did not work, but I don't go to hotels for their ice, so it wasn't a big deal. It was nice to stay downtown by the river. Free parking was a plus. The gallery downstairs was cool, too.

From the time we stepped in, until we left. Service was superb. The pool was amazing. The room was clean with a view of the river. The hostess was traing someone, and rheyvwere very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. This is my new hideaway getaway

Lobby is beautiful, pool is great and it has an art gallery. The hallways were dingy and had a fridge sitting out in it. The beds were very uncomfortable and light shines thru shaded window. They need blackout curtains. There is no staff after 11 except for security. It was a good thing I called for late arrival or I guess we would not have had keys.

This property used to be a Harris casino. The remodeling could not remove the smell of smoke or whatever the smell is especially prominent past the lobby... Also, there is what appears to be a paper mill next to the hotel so the stench outside is overwhelming. The surrounding area appears to be run down. So, since we arrived late at night it felt sketchy at best, if not safe. The hotel has a real nice lobby and outstanding pool area, a gym, and very classy guest salon. They also had an art gallery however I believe that's not a permanent thing. We stayed on the 2nd floor, the paint scheme is less than desirable brown and white, the hallway carpet was dirty. However the room was nice and clean. The hot water is extremely hot and it could burn you if you are not careful. Overall I would rather stay somewhere else but it was ok for one night.

Our hallway smelled like raw sewage. There was a massive hole in the wall where a water/sewage leak occurred. All of the baseboards were gone from a water/sewage leak. I have pictures.

Parking was ok. Its in a garage across the street. No security or police watching over the garage. However my car was safe overall. The bed was horrible. I felt the bed springs in the bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathtub wasn't clean. There was hair in it. The lobby was very nice and I just knew that the rooms would be great but it was ok. Not my brand of hotels but I thought since it was in the heart of downtown it would be great. I should've stayed at a casino!!

The property had a fire on in the laundry room the day I arrived. The property smelled like smoke the whole weekend and had dirty air with floating particles. Although unfortunate for everyone, other accommodations should have been made or I should have been told to book elsewhere before arriving- I was not in a position, arriving late at night to book elsewhere.. There was no housekeeping available for subsequent days (no towel service, updates to room supplies, etc.). There was no offer for a discounted rate or vouchers (for missing coffee in the room, etc.).

Very unique inside, has several different setting rooms in the lobby. I liked the art gallery. Staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. But most of all it was very clean!

The hotel is very nice and well maintained. Their front desk staff and other staff we encountered were knowledgeable, kind and courteous. The room was very clean. The facilities are quiet. The only issue was AC was broken. Thankfully it was cloudy and cool outside so it made it tolerable inside but it was muggy. When i spoke to front desk they provided an oscillating fan and it helped also. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay there again.

The property is nice, particularly the lobby with it's sitting room, billard room, cafe/bar and open art gallery. However, the heat was not working in the lobby so no one really hung out in the bar area and the staff had portable space heaters scattered around. The room was nice, a bit smaller than usual but it's an older building so somewhat expected. Two things that were not great though was the lack of water pressure and the sheer, see-through curtains with bright streetlights outside.

Woken up both mornings at 6:45 am by a local train with a loud horn near the hotel. Hotel staff didn't seem to care. No restaurant to speak of. Ice machine didn't work. Staff members were taking the Handicapped parking spots. People friendly, but hotel is, by and large sub par. No public art display, contrary to advertising. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.

The lobby and first floor of the hotel are super nice but that’s where it stops. The room was nothing to right home about, the bed was super uncomfortable, the bathroom needs a lot of work and the water pressure was pitiful. Won’t be staying here again. Not to mention the smell of weed was so strong it’ll peel your hair back.

Booked this hotel late while on the road and got there after midnight and when we got there there was no desk clerk only a security guard that said there is nobody there that could help us and no way to get to a room that we were already billed for.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mulberry very much! Only suggestion for improvement I have, is that both with check in and check out it was a long wait due to staff being outside or not near the desk.

The room had a dirty toilet, complicated to get to the room, the sheets on the bed were not properly done. We had to get them to redo the bed and clean the bathroom. Our other room would not shut or lock unless it was slammed shut. The bedskirt had dirty stains on it. Two different workers were on their phone when I walked up to receive service of different kinds. They did not have doggie bags on their pet station. Told us we would get comped something and didn’t. Some electrical outlets/lights would not work in the rooms.

Hotel is beautiful and clean. Checkin was easy. Kids love the game room in lobby. Furniture could use a bit of updating in room. I understand keeping with retro theme but chair in room was well worn. Room had been updated otherwise with usb ports. Would give 5 stars if not for being unable to take warm/hot shower. I thought with our late return to hotel, hot water tank may have ran low but even in the morning, water would not get warm. Told desk when checked out but all we got was "I'll check on that."

Great stay at the Mulberry. Very cool hotel with an art gallery, billiard room, great looking pool although we didn’t have time to use it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to downtown with shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Over all nice property. Really liked the pool. The walk to the Main Street could be better lit at night. The stairs were very dark. Know it is not the hotels issue but they s could place a complaint with the city to improve the lighting for safety.

Its location for historic downtown vicksburg was great. Was close to historic cemetary and battlefield and museums. Right on port, i have a 3 year old, he loved hearing and seeing the train pass by, and seeing the riverboats docked. Not related to hotel, but i love to walk, Vicksburg is super hilly...bring your walking shoes...you may get sore.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. It was near the downtown area but nowhere close to get something to eat when we arrived at 8:30 at night. They had a dining area with food, but they didn't have anything to eat because they had refrigerator issues. The menu in our room was different than down at the dining area. I would stay there again.

This place is nice and has a fun atmosphere, but it's a little chaotic. There is a small restaurant downstairs, but it's impossible to find the menu if you are in your room. The menu is not online or located anywhere in the room. A small inconvenience, but just weird for a hotel. Also, the place needs curtains; it's not possible to sleep past dawn with the sun coming through the very thin shade on the window. The staff was very professional. Overall a good place.

Beautiful old hotel. Top quality linens, very clean, free parking in downtown Vicksburg overlooking the Yazoo River. Close to a kuds park and the beautiful levee murals. Art gallery in hotel is a bonus. And our take out dinner from the Bistro was delicious. Great service too.
