This property is ok. The valet parking fee is insane. $80 to park your car!? No thanks. (although the valet guy was very fun/friendly! 👈😁) The room was pretty small but nice. The rest of the experience was good. Friendly staff, clean room. 👍

We stayed two nights and our room was left dirty and unkept. We came to beds unmade and dirty towels. We stayed at the Aloft in other states and I have to say this has been the worse experience we’ve had so far. Also, valet parking for $65 a night is sacrilegious!

The proximity to the Reading Terminal and City Hall is wonderful. The Aloft hotel room was smallish but perfect for my wife and I. Daily room service was excellent. The fitness room is excellent and is interesting because it’s the location of the old bank vault (in which I did some stretching). Carry your key for security to get in and out of the hotel and elevator use. We would stay there again in a room with a better view.

When I arrived the lobby was closed for construction so check in was at a small entrance downstairs. I chose this hotel because of the restaurant/bars and they were closed because of the construction. I wasn’t told anything about this when I booked it 4 days earlier so I would like my money back.

Came for a conference at the Pennsylvania convention center and it was perfect. A few specifics: Location- literally connected to convention center from bottom floor so you don’t have to even go outside. Starbucks on bottom floor also. 2 blocks from train station going directly to airport also and very close to tons of restaurants and things to do in center of town Room- we had the corner room and it was perfect nice size, king bed, super clean, great bath soaps and shampoos, clean towels, uodated modern rooms, nice view Logistics-checkin super easy, boutique hotel feel, not a huge line for checking in and out Price- reasonable price for such a nice hotel in central philly Amenities- nice bar area with pool table and some games and also nice outdoor patio as well to hang out and relax Would def come and stay here again.

We really liked our stay here. Very quiet and walkable to Reading Market. The main hotel is fairly bare bones for the food/toiletries but it has a bar/restaurant, games, and lovely staff.

Staff and bartenders were super cool. Really nice lobby and outside patio. The 1st lady that I talked to on the phone to confirm that I was coming and that my flight would be late was the worst.. but everyone else made up for it.

I was underwhelmed. I expected better based on other reviews. Check in was quick and staff were kind. My room was on the 17th floor and had a spectacular view. That was the best part. The walls of the room were dirty. I won’t go into details but it creeped me out. Quite possibly I’m picky and it wouldn’t be a big deal to some, but I expect clean walls when I’m paying for a space to rest. In addition, the duvet covers on BOTH beds were stained. Staff did replace them quickly. We only stayed two nights so I chose not to request a room change but I wouldn’t return. It’s location does allow great walking access to the rest of downtown Philly.

Hello, when waking up this am to shower there were bugs in the shower. I immediately called front desk and went downstairs to front desk to report the bugs that were found in the shower.

Our room was nice, until we saw massive brown and yellow stains on the mattress, that was absolutely disgusting and obviously just covered over and never cleaned. Location was great, staff was friendly, and the bar inside was nice.

LOBBY AREA was very modern and like the activity options. Bartender Q made great drinks and great service. whatever scent is used in the hall wish was used in the rooms. can tell there has been an update to rooms but door are paper thin and hall noise can be annoying.

Overall the hotel was okay. There was no microwave in the room. The mirrors in the room were not a lot. The lovely was beautiful and had a lot of great things but to have no microwave in our room and to have to go down stairs was a little much. The room for a double queen was smaller than I’ve experienced. The outside of the hotel was terrible due to parking and streets but had a lot of good food around but to chose between $60/night valet or $45/night garage parking and no street parking was terrible and overwhelming. And you had to go to the lobby shop to get smalls bags of ice. I will have to give this hotel a 3/5 just for aesthetics.

A nice hotel in a great location for a reasonable price. I'd say it checked all but on-box. Apparently they are so eco-friendly that the shower pressure is like a drizzle. Plan to build in double the time you normally need to take a shower because the water pressure which is modulated by the eco-friendly shower heads is non-existent.

Great location. Hard to find the entrance. Only valet parking which is expensive and I honestly had no other choice. Good thing the valet crew were helpful and friendly. The young ladt cleaning the recommended me to a wonderful restaurant which made the trip mosr enjoyable and I was able ro get the "Philly" experience. My room was kinda small (King) but has modern appliances. I'll definitely book the Queen double next time. Overall I'd stay again but will Uber or Lyft to local locations because of the valet $$$.

I had a good stay and the hotel was adequate. It’s centrally located and everything is within walking distance. I could hear some conversations from a neighboring room and someone going to the bathroom, so soundproofing wasn’t so great. It’s close by Reading Terminal Market and the train station to and from Airport.

The staff at this hotel made this one of the best stays I’ve ever had. We had some car issues (needed it picked up and transported 6 hours back home) and front desk and valet were able to make all accommodations to make it as smooth as possible. Front desk was phenomenal, personable, kind, and professional. Their recommendations for activities and the ‘must haves’ at Reading Market were spot on. I can’t wait to come back here, it will be the only place I will want to stay in Philly. Very secure and safe, also you can’t even hear the sounds of traffic from the rooms. Very quiet, very peaceful, great atmosphere. King room was massive, clean, comfortable, with three giant windows to let in the light glistening off City Hall. Valet is TOP NOTCH! Insanely kind and professional as well.

The husband and I had an amazing visit to Philadelphia. The hotel was simply beautiful and the staff was amazing . The assistant manager Karim was very helpful and has a wonderful personality!

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. We arrived at 4:45 p.m. to be told our room was not ready and there was no estimate of when it would be ready. Told us we would be called when ready. Never received a call or message. Went back at almost 7 and it was ready. No acknowledgement at that time of the inconvenience. If you pay $200 for a room you expect to check in at 3, not 7. Will not stay here again.

Aloft was a great choice for our vacation in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is an extremely walkable city. City Center was a good option for us because we liked being close to the Reading Terminal for breakfast, and it is a central location to old city, Chinatown, and the many museums. Safe area with great staff to discuss location options for food. :)

Wonderful views. Unbeatable location right at the center of downtown with shopping, restaurants, history all around it at walkable distances. Easy access to bus service as well. Overall a warm space with a very welcoming and cozy hotel lobby. The staff are remarkably helpful and all interactions with them leave you with a smile. The gym and the bar are a great amenity too.

This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the city as a tourist. The majority of attractions are within walking distance, and the nearby Reading Market was perfect for a variety of meals. The rooms were were a good size and well set up. The area around the hotel does have a lot of homeless people, but that seems to be a common problem in this city, and none of them caused us any issues. My only negative comment about this property is several unhelpful and unfriendly dealings with front desk clerk D, but everything else about our stay at Aloft was great.

The location was perfect. You can walk to all the main attractions. We loved walking in the city center and Reading Terminal Market to eat. The hotel is clean and modern it is also ADA friendly. Next time.I will bring my pet too.

Nice location. Easy to access. Front staff was helpful. Don’t do the breakfast option, just 25$ credit to their market or a microwaveable sandwich… just go downstairs to Starbucks. Has a more “club” feel with the music and front desk area but not in a good or bad way. Parking garages are all around but all super tight… drive a small car or take the train. Valet will only park small cars.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, the breakfast is not great but it is a different concept and definitely worth it if you are in Philly on a business trip and need a quick bite. Rooms are clean and comfy. The area is super convenient to navigate the city.

I really liked the proximity to many of the tourist destinations that were within walking distance. (City hall, Reading Terminal Street Market, etc.) Would have liked there to have been an onsite restaurant - otherwise even that wasnt too big a problem as there were numerous places around to dine.

Aloft is exactly what I expected. It was clean, updated, great location and pretty quiet. The drinks were great in the bar but I’d go somewhere else for food. Having Starbucks right there was nice and stepping out of the lobby and seeing city hall was pretty! No complaints.
