Decking around the pool is extremely unsafe. Slates are loose and dangerous. This is the same for the ones out the front. Blinds in the room constantly break. Staff when reporting unhelpful. Great location but a hotel that needs money spent on it and service is poor.

I would give this hotel 5 stars. But my spa is experience was absolutely horrible. Not the service itself. But they had a children’s swim class during the hours my husband and I were booked for our treatments. Imagine 20 screaming children 25 feet from your service room and that is what it was like. We were NOT told about this class. It is for kids that live in the town. We understood when booking our treatments that we could use the facilities for about 20 euros extra. Which I thought to be weird anyway. But we were going to be there for over 3 hours so of course we wanted to use the spa area (pool/lounge/steam etc). We were not even allowed showers before or after our treatment! GROSS!! We had walked the town all day! They offered zero when I complained. My husband and I noth the left after our massages and went back to the room. We should have been told about the timing. We had three entire days that we could have booked out treatments. What a waste. And not relaxing!

Breakfast was very good. Fabulous bed and room. Views were amazing with a lovely balcony. Reception was friendly and supportive. The pools and pool area was the best and sun beds were available even though August throughout the day. Would have no hesitation in returning .

The hotel is in a beautiful location near the beach. Unfortunately the hotel rooms are a bit dated and the gym is very very small and equipments are very old. Dining option is also limited. Overall still a very nice and decent hotel to stay

The property is amazing, as always. The food, pool building, and amenities are just excellent! The pool closes at 8pm; they told us that 1 minute before closing, I wish we had known 10 minutes before to finish our drinks.

Beautifully designed hotel right on the water with a spectacular pool overlooking the ocean — just breathtaking. Great bar with attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast was superb with a wide variety of hot and cold items and a chef to make whatever you wanted. The hotel sits next to a stunning botanical park which was easily walkable. Spacious private hotel parking lot.

Very good location and great views from the balcony. Some elements of the hotel are a bit tired and not looked after, especially around the pool area where the decking is broken in a number of places and one of the umbrellas broke and cracked my partner on the head.

Hotellet ligger flot med en skøn udsigt og en meget smuk park lige ved siden af hotellet. Fin indtjekning i receptionen og flot fremvisning af vores Superior dobbeltværelse som var rent og pænt, men nedslidt mange steder. To fladskærme var der på værelset, men de krævede kikkert, de var ikke større end de to skræmme jeg har på mit hjemmekontor. Den store terresse turde vi ikke bruge, de er ved at reperarer balkoner og vi kunne se at vores hældte ca. 3 cm. Hotellet bruger mange ting igen som andre hoteller ville smide ud. Vi kunne se at æsker på badeværelset med neglefil, tandbørste etc. var i slidt tilstand ligesom ved resturanten, der brugte man papirholder til serviet og bestik igen og igen, så der var fedt pletter på og meget slidt i kanterne. Det er ikke i orden. I morgenmads resturant fik man en ornitologisk oplevelse. Her fløj der fugle rundt og betjente sig selv med morgenmad fra buffet. Ønsker jeg at fodre fugle, gør jeg det selv, de skal ikke gå rundt i min morgenmad. Begge vores kaffekopper var revnet på vores bord, så kaffen selv ud af de “fine” kopper med et “P” på for hotellets navn - de har været fine engang, Inge tvivl og det, men som alt andet er det nedslidt på mange punkter. Det eneste der hævede morgenmaden ligt, var kokken der lavede omelet og spejlæg. Pølserne kom dog direkte fra dåse, de var helt kantede at se på. En anden gang i Cadiz kommer vi gerne men det bliver desværre på et andet mere moderne hotel, men personalet skal have stor ros, meget.

The rooms are superb, fantastic views with huge windows (which slide back to fully open). Spotlessly clean, rooms are very large as is bed. Staff are very helpful and very nice. No kettle in room but thus was provided immediately on asking at reception. Receptionist who checked ys in was extremely welconing.

We enjoyed our stay and would have given a higher rating if the property were maintained better. The stone in the bathroom and tub were very discolored and in need of refinishing. Rooms are quite spacious and we had a lovely sea view but we could easily hear our nextdoor guest and noise from the adjacent park was pretty loud when we opened the sliding doors. If you are noise sensitive don’t stay on the park side and not in a room that adjoins to another. The bar offers great drinks and all of the hotel staff are friendly and professional.

Extremely overpriced. Birds flying in the breakfast area and eating bread off the serving counter for guests. Absolutely disgusting and hard to believe this place passes an inspection. Air conditioning barely worked, if at all. Rooms were hot despite turning the AC on all night. Pool opens at 11am and closes at 8pm, so couldn’t go swimming before needing to check out in the morning. Everything about this place is cheap, and the breakfast experience was the worst I have ever seen in my 20 years of business travel.

Vi blev uppgraderade till större rum, mindre svit som var väldigt fin. Rummet var rent och fräscht men: i duschen var kakeln spruken och duschtvålen lossnade från väggen. Inga problem men bra för hotellet att känna till. Fantastisk balkong.

We stayed in a junior suite which was perfect for three people - a very large king bed in one room and a large pullout sofa in the other (very large) room. We had two full bathrooms which was unique for a junior suite. The rooms are ultra-modern (almost to a fault - who puts a bathtub in the middle of the room?). The only bad side was a very strong sewer smell from the bathroom the first night - if the toilet wasn't flushed every ~hour or so, the water would turn brownish and smell horrible. So we spent the first day flushing the toilet a lot. I told the front desk the following day and I have no idea what they did but they immediately fixed the problem. Another small issue - the pools are beautiful, but to use the hot tub involves a fairly substantial spa charge - would have been nice to have that included. The included breakfast was very good and quite extensive, and the restaurant had great food and a beautiful view of the Atlantic. In the morning I had a great run down the boardwalk out to the San Sebastian Castle - an incredible way to start the day! So overall great, except for that weird toilet issue which was fixed immediately after I let them know. I'd definitely recommend the Parador at Cadiz.

Fantastique séjour dans ce magnifique hôtel. L'arrivée dans la chambre a été vraiment jubilatoire quand le store s'est relevé, dévoilant une vue panoramique sur la mer, le parc et la ville. La chambre était spacieuse avec un lit king size très confortable. Très jolie salle de bain (avec bidet ;) ) Les matériaux étaient d'une grande qualité et tout était d'une propreté irréprochable. La salle du petit déjeuner était aussi très spacieuse avec un grand buffet bien garni. Un grand merci au personnel, souriant et accueillant. A notre arrivée, la personne qui a fait notre enregistrement parlait français et nous avons apprécié. Nous recommandons cet hôtel!

This was my second time at this Parador. It’s my favorite place to stay in Cádiz, mainly due to the pool and views. Pros: view from rooms, pools, location, kind and friendly staff, generally quiet rooms. Cons: odd pool/gym hours, gym lacking basic weights, noise from the park, no kettle in room (in superior room), a/c doesn’t cool as well as expected.

Generally great. Room layout is a little strange with 2 baths and a sliding glass door to the WC where it is clear to see what you are doing. Room was comfortable, although aircon would not go below 20 deg C. Area is away from the bustling centre, but only a 10 min walk away. I would say that the hotel is best suited for Family get-aways as there are many pool/sun deck/play/spa areas.

Excellent views and staff….great area. Super helpful and friendly check. Check out was easy and a cab was to the hotel within minutes to take us to the train station. Service in the bar needs improvement, but the food was good and so were the drinks.

Most unwelcoming hotel I have stayed in. Front desk staff should be fired and a new manager appointed. Food and beverage staff also unfriendly and coffee queue for breakfast a mess. More modern machines required. Room a triumph of form over function with a pretty useless bath occupying too much space. Lights, media system also overly complicated and outdated. Excellent location but better options available.

I cannot rate as I did not turn up. Sadly, I booked and prepaid and although I have had to change certain hotels in the past as plans do change this hotel refused to allow me to cancel. Very sad as I will never use a parador again and this would have been my 7th in the chain, I actually asked to change to the parador Ronda but they said no. Very poor customer service by the manager and Parador

Estuvimos 3 noches en septiembre. En general una muy buena estancia. Si vienes en auto, el parking es muy grande y amplio y la verdad es que ya no tienes que sacar el auto el resto del viaje, ya que la gran mayoría de atracciones y restaurantes están máximo a 15-20 minutos caminando.

The hotel is in a fantastic position overlooking the sea and on the edge of the old town. It has the bonus of excellent and large pools overlooking the sea as are the rooms. Quality throughout is very good and it has private parking. .

The breakfast situation a little off. The various self service coffee machines malfunctioned in different ways. one pitcher of hot milk had gone off and clotted. Getting ordinary black tea was a lengthy struggle. Odd pool times. Closed at 8 pm until 11 am the next day! What what? Wonderful location, pool and views.

This parador falls a bit short for me because it lacks the usual parador charm. The sleek modern features come across for my taste as rather soul-less. Also, although the service in the bar was fine, the food was dreadful. We had just stayed at the parador in Carmona a few days before, and the contrast was stark. That said, the staff were wonderful and the attention we received met usual parador standards.

Probably the best of the Paradors. Fantastic hotel with helpful staff. Will definitely come back and stay longer. Only one tiny flaw and that is the restaurant doesn’t offer much for vegetarians.

Modern hotel with great pool overlooking the sea and a 5 minute walk from the old town. We accepted an upgrade to the 7th floor - the rooms have a fabulous view from the bed, full bath and separate shower. Breakfast also excellent

Fantastic view of both the sea and the old town from our room no 601. Very nice experience with a fantastic breakfast. Loved the very comfortable room and all the amenities. The spa circuit was very nice. I would not recommend the dining at the restaurant in the evening as it is over priced for what you get.
