This resort is clean and well maintained. It was perfect to celebrate our anniversary! It’s right on the beach but still has a pool. It was very quiet and peaceful! The only downside is that it’s about 20 minutes away from downtown. We wanted to have dinner watching sunset, so we went to Brett’s Waterway Cafe at the marina by downtown. But there are restaurants on site. I would love to visit here again with my family. They have put put golf, pickleball courts, tennis courts and golf courses. The beach here is amazing! I definitely recommend this place!

This property is gorgeous. There is an on-call shuttle, room service (only available at the main hotel, not the villas), shops, restaurants, bars, and three pools! Plus, beach access directly outside the villas. We had a nice balcony with chairs overlooking the ocean. The beds were super comfortable and we loved all the pillows. The room and the entire facility were clean. Our room even had a box fan available.

When booking at the Villas, we were unsure of where our place would be. there are several Villas in the area. We were assigned to the Tennis Villas which were nearly a mile to the beach and the Omni hotel. Luckily it was easy to either drive and park near the main resort or take the shuttle. Now that I have been there, I have a better understanding of the layout and where I would want to stay. Our villa itself was very nice. It had a full kitchen, dining area and living room. The bedroom was separate and a very nice bathroom as well. The only problem was the water pressure in the bathroom sinks. It was basically a slow, low drizzle. The maintenance worker came and took the aerator off while we were there and it was better. Our unit had a separate pool as well, but it was nothing compared to what the hotel pool and beach area had. We would drive over every day and enjoy the big pools. Overall, it was a beautiful area and I would definitely go again.

Beach wood villas was wonderful, very relaxing and across the street from the resort and beach access. Everyone on the property were so kind and helped me mane my husband’s birthday weekend extra special. We enjoyed the drinks at Oceanside and Seaglass. We had dinner at Bobd steakhouse and service was great but was not impressed with the steak. We went to the spa and also had a great experience, recommend for anyone going book a spa day as well!

This place was fantastic. Customer service was amazing. We stayed at one of the villas through the hotel and absolutely loved it. There is a trolley that will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in the resort area promptly and free of charge. Everyone friendly. Clean. Food was amazing. 10/10

The room was musty smell. Shower had mold. The tub was filthy with dirty rings. No towel service. No bed service. No trash service. We had to call front desk to get clean towels. No restock of room coffee products. The glass door to balcony was useless it could not be opened. The tv was outdated and very small. The bed was lumpy, we looked under the sheets and there was an egg cushion on top of the mattress. We could not get in the gated pool area so we called the front desk and they could not help us with the proper method to get the security gate opened, we waited for a guest and asked them how to get in the pool gate. This was a poorly operated facility and as a guest paying a high amount for the week it was not worth the money. We were very disappointed in our stay and were more stressed leaving than arriving.

The room was completely different than the room shown upon booking. The "villa" was outdated with brown carpet, musty smell, and both queen beds did not have fitted sheets. They were covered with flat sheets instead. The duvet inserts were not covered either and I doubt from the overall cleanliness of the room that they wash them after each guest. We had stayed in a room at the hotel in January 2023 and had a similar experience. We thought we would give the Omni another try because of the resort amenities, but the villas were just as gross.

Room floor was dirty, land line to contact guest reception was ancient and full of static. Walls all dinged up. Needs a fresh coat of paint on the inside. Fridge was nice to have but freezer was on fritz and iced over everything.

The Omni resort is very beautiful and has wonderful amenities, but the villa we stayed in was a building on the property where the units are privately owned. The building we stayed in is in great need of structural repairs. The gardens are all very old and dead. The outside trash bins around the pool area were overflowing and never emptied for the whole time we stayed. The unit itself is very dirty and smells very danc and musty, it has maybe a 28 inch tv that was very old. Please beware of this unit.

Ceiling fan in room was dirty. The balcony railing and chairs were filthy. Overall, the decor was dated. The chair of the room also had a layer of crime on the foot rest. It’s just not a resort experience in my opinion. The Oceanside restaurant that we reserved was not busy at all, but the staff struggled with Visiting our table and when we wanted to leave, and our drinks had been empty for a good amount of time, we were stuck, just looking around, hoping somebody noticed.

The Omni Resort is amazing with plenty of recreational activities to enjoy! We stayed in the Villas and the surrounding properties include several pools, golf courses, and trails. The only disappointment was the room itself. Our room was quite small for the price we paid. The TV in the room was extremely small and we never could connect to the Wi-Fi. Luckily, this resort is more about the wonderful outdoor experience so it didn’t matter. Overall, it’s a bit pricey here but the experience is amazing! We will be back, but will probably opt to stay in a different area of the resort.

Wi-Fi was horrible, didn’t work most of the time. Bathroom and room needs to be updated. You can barely get out the shower without falling over the toilet and then if someone opened the door that would be a disaster. The tv was 24 inches. The view was the best part honestly.

Pros The room was very clean and staff were amazing. Cons the jets in the tub didn’t work and the door that divided the suites was not very soundproof and you could see light from the adjoining room.

I stayed in the Villas. The view and proximity to the beach were excellent. The room was ok. The beds were alright. The pillows were hard. The bathroom was a nice size although the tub looked worn and the bathtub would drain very slowly. The room looked as it no one had stayed there in a while. The cups and coffee maker looked dusty. They provided paper towels, a microwave, a mini fridge and a small sink on a counter next to the bed. That was convenient. Overall the stay was good however the price was a lot. You are paying for the view and proximity to the beach. Which is wonderful but I probably wouldn’t stay there again because of the price.

A Rocky Start That Couldn’t Be Fully Recovered This was our first time staying here, and unfortunately, it will likely be our last. I confirmed our reservation multiple times leading up to arrival. About an hour and a half away, I called again to double-check the address—only to be met with unhelpful and rude behavior from the front gate guard, Newsome, who couldn’t locate our reservation and proceeded to make it seem like my mistake. Once we finally got to the main building, our Expedia reservation was still nowhere to be found—apparently due to a glitch between the systems. After nearly an hour of waiting, Jamie (manager on duty) stepped in, and thankfully created a new reservation for us with an upgraded room, which we appreciated. That said, the overall property felt outdated. Several buildings and restaurants smelled musty and lacked the polish you’d expect for the price. While we’re grateful for Jamie’s help, the poor first impression and the overall condition of the resort left a bad taste. We won’t be returning.

Given incorrect key to room. Found right room. Not ready. Elevator was not working. Had to carry luggage up to third floor. Down to correct room on 2nd floor. It was not ready. Had to lug stuff back to car and drive to Omni resort where they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. We are in our late 70s. This was not a very pleasant experience. We were put in a very nice room at the Omni resort so that did ease the pain somewhat. Thank you.

First time visiting and except for some miss communication on amenities we had a great time - staff was wonderful especially Kelly and Deborah in the main lobby bar - Julio at the adult pool was awesome and the waiter at Oceanside for diner was exceptional - we can’t wait to go back

What a wonderful place! It’s like staying at a Five star hotel in the jungle on the beach we just loved it! Our room was clean and fresh with a nice partial view of the ocean. The staff, and particularly Deidra at the front desk was phenomenal. We will absolutely be back!

This place was fantastic. Customer service was amazing. We stayed at one of the villas through the hotel and absolutely loved it. There is a trolley that will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in the resort area promptly and free of charge. Everyone friendly. Clean. Food was amazing. 10/10

Check-in is tough as the "Villa" check-in location closes often and you must go to the Omni Hotel to check-in. Then they provide a "map" with no road names and no instructions how to reach your unit. Once having figured it out it is easy so better instructions could make the experience better. Also note if you arrive after dark it is impossible to see signage. The unit was clean and comfortable.

This resort is clean and well maintained. It was perfect to celebrate our anniversary! It’s right on the beach but still has a pool. It was very quiet and peaceful! The only downside is that it’s about 20 minutes away from downtown. We wanted to have dinner watching sunset, so we went to Brett’s Waterway Cafe at the marina by downtown. But there are restaurants on site. I would love to visit here again with my family. They have put put golf, pickleball courts, tennis courts and golf courses. The beach here is amazing! I definitely recommend this place!

Omni Amelia Island is a classy, beautiful and fun property. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The pools and hot tubs were clean. The bar service both inside and poolside was superb. I highly recommend this property.

The resort was wonderful. We stayed in the Tennis Villas which were probably at the cheapest price point however the room was very nice. There was a pool at the villlas. The big winner for me was the pools at the main hotel. There were a lot of seating with umbrellas. There were waiters walking around taking food and drink orders. The hamburger was the best I've had in a while. We had breakfast at one of the on site restaurants but the food wasn't what we expected. It was more pastry and breakfast sandwiches. If you want actual breakfast go off property about 10 minutes to the a place called the Beach Diner. Overall we enjoyed relaxing at this resort. It is a little spendy.

We arrived and thought the resort area was beautiful. Out villa we stayed in and had a great view of the ocean. However, the room many many years. There was a huge spiderweb, going into the doorway that we had to clear out before going into our room. When I sat on the bed, the bottom bed board apparently came loose and you could hear it hit the ground. The mattress had a big dip in the middle of it. The TV screen was about 24 inches, way too small for the room. There was no chair to sit on all we had was just the bed. I ended up getting bit by bedbugs the very first night. We left the next morning as I was not going to stay in a place that was this old and in this condition. we drove three hours to get to Amelia Island from where we live for our anniversary. We were at the resort for a total of about 14 hours left the next morning after getting bit by the bedbugs. The property agreed to not charge me for the second night, but continue to charge me for the resort fee when we weren't even there. I would suggest going down to Fernanda Beach or one of the other islands to look for accommodations.

Beautiful resort, clean rooms, and outstanding staff!! Especially Tunde, Anastasia & Laura! So very kind and accommodating. My reservation was lost in the cloud, and after a long drive from MN everyone was exhausted and ready to get to the room! Once everything was figured out they gifted us an upgrade! Can not rave enough about the amazing customer service!
