The property is well maintained and in the traditional Santorini style. The view is amazing but what really stood out was the friendliness of the staff. It is hard to go up and down the stairs and they had no concerns keeping our luggage until it was check-in time and similarly after check-out and before leaving the area. Really appreciate the help. The only drawback as has been mentioned in other reviews is that the indoor pool is quite cold. If it was just a little bit warmer, everything would have been perfect. Excellent breakfast, would certainly stay there again.

Wonderful location in Santorini overlooking the caldera. You will get some good exercise climbing the stairs to the top of the hill, but the view is just wonderful. Hotel staff were very helpful and any request made was answered. The pool was perfect after a hot day to cool off and the AC in the rooms was great. The only issue we faced in the junior suite was the bathroom is very small. The shower is a 2x2 square that was a challenge.

Everything is 5 star in review! Location, location, location! Loved everything, friendly staff, beautiful view, great breakfast and much more! The mom - son owner/mangers are very friendly and helpful! They can help you get the plan together for sightseeing and other activities in and around Fira! Our room was on the very bottom floor and we did not hear any noise from the street! The grotto swimming pool was a big hit with kids, after a long day in such hot weather outside! All photos were taken from the little balcony we had!

We stayed in the double room with balcony and loved it. The views over the caldera we're unbeatable and the staff was professional, courteous, and welcoming. Delion is a family operated hotel with the family onsite (and speak English). The breakfast buffet was quite good and there is a bar if you want to have drinks on their balcony to watch the sunsets. There are several steps to reach the hotel so this might not be suitable for people with mobility issues. We recommend Delion highly!

Hotel was perched on the cliff, away from the hectic shopping and dining areas. It was quiet and the view was great. The pool was very nice to get cooled off on hot days of July. Breakfast was good too. The staff was friendly and helpful answering transportation questions.

Very nice. V nice service & friendly staff. Total opposite of an American, cookie cutter hotel experience. Incredible views. V cool indoor pool. I suggest to call ahead for help w luggage on the way in, lots of steps.

Property is built into the side of a mountain, and overlooks the water. There are about 30-35 stairs that you will have to travel up and down from the road level to the hotel. Views are spectacular, and the operator is very kind and considerate. It is right in the heart of Fira, and shopping/dining is within walking distance. Would stay here again.

The view was incredible! It truly can’t be beat. The caretaker and staff were excellent and accommodating. You don’t have to fight crowds or go anywhere else for amazing sunsets. The rooms were very nice and charming. The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired. They are very small and super tiny showers. And the pool was indoors-so we didn’t use it. But…first world problems. Overall I would certainly recommend this place.

Pretty new and very clean hotel. The staffs are super nice and take good care of their guests. They even packed coffee and warm breakfast for us since we checked out before 7am, while they serve breakfast starting at 8:30am. The location is great, very close to the bus station going to the airport, very convenient with easy walking. You can find a lot of place to eat nearby, even during the winter slow season, when a lot of businesses closed. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed at Delion View hotel for 4 nights, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel is basic but very clean, however the views were just out of this world, literally no words for the views. We would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.

We liked the view from property and overall service including breakfast is really superb. For budget stay it’s an excellent choice. Location is good but requires lot of stairs to reach market level. I am not sure about Fira star standards as this property 4 star status is mis leading. I have lived in 4 star properties across world and in Athens too and room is not even close to 4 star. Shower area was extremely small with just cheap shower curtain. Whenever we went to shower, entire bathroom floor end up wet. I tried not to avoid but it was not possible. We spotted few insects flying in the room too. Donot forget to contact property on your arrival as it is not easy to find this property if you are coming for the first time.

The view of the caldera from our balcony was simply spectacular. The shower is particularly small about 2’ square in a corner of the bathroom. Be prepared to get most of the washroom soaked. The breakfast that is included isn’t particularly good and cooked items like eggs are cold….but it’s all about the view

The Delion View Hotel was a great place to stay in Santorini. At first we were a little concerned about all the steps to get anywhere, but it seems like that's the case most places in Santorini. If you want a great place with a private balcony to watch the sunset on Santorini rather than fighting the restaurant crowds, it's perfect. This place has a great view. Our room was a great size for three people, and nice and cool. Their breakfast in the morning comes with a choice of eggs and then various sides that change each day. You can get it at the cafe upstairs or on your balcony. The beds were a little hard for us, but not super uncomfortable. All in all, it was a great stay and a great hotel.

View is great, there are quite number of steps to get to it but doable and they help carry your bags from the transfer. They are family owned and very gracious. We talk to Alexander a lot and he was very nice, set up breakfast for us wherever we wanted. The only con is the bed, way too hard for us, husband had lot of problems. If they just put a comfortable mattress pad on top it would be rated higher. We end up using blankets and stuff to cushion the hardness.

Delion View Hotel has the right name. The view from the patio is fantastic, with unobscured caldera sunsets and Fira spread out before you. My room was so charming, the only downside was that I could hear the breakfast set up in the mornings (room 101 FYI, it's above the kitchen area). The staff was incredibly helpful and it was easy to walk to everything in Fira. Would definitely recommend!

The breakfast was delicious, the room spacious, we forgot our charger and they let us borrow it. Views are great! There is stairs but Alex helped us tremendously with luggage. They helped with airport transportation and to the ferry for a charge. Close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and clubs. Close to the bus station that charges 2 euros to take you to the nearest towns.

We were met at the taxi drop off by Alex who carried all of our luggage down the stairs We were given our room on arrival even though we were very early The breakfast was nice and having a choice of eggs was great The room was comfortable and spacious. The view from our room was amazing front row seats to the sunset! The downside the music from above reverberated in our room usually until 11pm

Unit was very clean and in good condition considering its age. Just realize you're stepping back into the 1920s or whenever these were developed. Mattress was really hard so I found it a bit hard to stay asleep. There was a band going until 3am at the local night club. Apparently that's a thing. Nightly. If you like quiet, you won't like this area. Nothing against this hotel. There would not be a room on the entire hillside in any of the hotels that wouldn't hear the noise. I even walked outside, thinking it was going to be adjacent to my hotel. At 3am I could hear the whistles (think disco) blowing and the music thumping, but all I could see was a hillside of peace. I have no idea where the nightclub was. I guess I should be greatful it wasn't next door. If it was that loud at my hotel, half an island away, it must have been vibrating the walls on the other units. If you like quiet nights, try one of the other neighborhoods on the island. I didn't realize I'd picked the party area when I booked. None of this falls on the shoulders of the proprietor. There was no noise from our hotel.

Donna and Daniel (proprietors) were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are very clean and authentic Santorini. The views are amazing there. They have a full bar and breakfast each day. Whenever we needed something (water, clothes cleaned, help with luggage, booking excursions) Donna handled it all. They also have a great beach restaurant with beach access and chairs, umbrellas and towels for us when we wanted some beach time (a quick 15 minute ride from the hotel). You have to try the chicken - it was amazing! Great place to stay- we will be back! And a big thank you to Valentino for help with the bags!

Beautiful property. Easy walk to the bus stop, restaurants, and attractions.Great spot for sunset pictures. The host was wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Alex and Ina took great care of us - very friendly and helpful.

The Delion View is a great little hotel in an amazing spot on the side of the caldera proving spectacular views, and is walkable to everything in Fira. Staff were great and I’d highly recommend the breakfast which is home made and delicious. Alex carried our 2 large suitcases (one on his shoulders) from our room up the 60+ stairs and to our car in one go! Incredible!! Would highly recommend!

He greeted me at the taxi-drop site and put my heavy suitcase on his shoulder to walk down all the steps leading to my room. He kindly did the same when I left for Oia by bus. Beautiful views at this stunning property! We only spent one night during the off-season (March) but loved our time at this beautiful hotel. Be aware there are several steps to get down to the property, as is common in Santorini but these are doable and the staff were super helpful with bags!

The breakfast was delicious, the room spacious, we forgot our charger and they let us borrow it. Views are great! There is stairs but Alex helped us tremendously with luggage. They helped with airport transportation and to the ferry for a charge. Close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and clubs. Close to the bus station that charges 2 euros to take you to the nearest towns.

Property is built into the side of a mountain, and overlooks the water. There are about 30-35 stairs that you will have to travel up and down from the road level to the hotel. Views are spectacular, and the operator is very kind and considerate. It is right in the heart of Fira, and shopping/dining is within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Pretty new and very clean hotel. The staffs are super nice and take good care of their guests. They even packed coffee and warm breakfast for us since we checked out before 7am, while they serve breakfast starting at 8:30am. The location is great, very close to the bus station going to the airport, very convenient with easy walking. You can find a lot of place to eat nearby, even during the winter slow season, when a lot of businesses closed. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The Delion View is a gem in Santorini! A short walk from the airport bus stop and with great views. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a nice surprise! I loved the room, with my own little terrace with a sunset view. The bed was in a cave-like alcove and super cute. It was still cool (I stayed early March) and the duvet kept me nice and warm at night. Everything was clean and worked well. When back in Santorini, I will defintely stay here again!

The view of the caldera from our balcony was simply spectacular. The shower is particularly small about 2’ square in a corner of the bathroom. Be prepared to get most of the washroom soaked. The breakfast that is included isn’t particularly good and cooked items like eggs are cold….but it’s all about the view

Helt okej hotel väldigt centralt beläget i Fira. Hjälpsam personal. Frukosten var mycket enkel och ganska trist. Rummet var ganska slitet och det var väldigt lyhört, vi väcktes tidigt på morgonen av höga ljud från hotellets kök där frukost tillreddes.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Santorini, mainly because of the absolutely breathtaking views. If you are coming to Santorini, you want to stay somewhere that lets you truly experience the beauty of the island, and this place delivers. Built into the mountainside, the views from both the terrace and our private balcony were spectacular. The sunset alone is worth staying here. People travel across Santorini and crowd into certain areas just to watch the sunset and take pictures, while here you can enjoy an incredible sunset right from your balcony or the hotel terrace. Do not miss it! The location is also excellent. The town is only about a three minute walk away, so you are close to everything while still being away from the crowds and craziness. The bus station is about a five minute walk, although you should know that getting to the hotel requires walking down quite a few steps along the mountainside. Breakfast is included and is fairly average, but honestly, we were not there for the breakfast. We were there for the views, location, terrace, balcony, and atmosphere. The staff also deserves special mention. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
