Was a great last stop for us on the ring road after staying in guesthouses for a week. We had our own kitchen, laundry and bathroom and the host was very sweet, she gave us a bottle of milk from their dairy cows. They just took over the farm a couple months ago and are making a new start of it. The furnishings are very plain but clean and you have all you need with more amenities than most other places we stayed, recommended!

Excellent price! Our host was so friendly and welcomed us when we arrived with a sweet little lamb. The accommodation was bigger than we thought which was nice. Beautiful farm with horses. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and spacious for our family of five. The owner greeted us in the morning and shared a quart of milk from her cows right there on the farm. I highly recommend this comfortable stop during your travels.

Die Lage ist absolut ideal für Natur, Ruhe und Nähe an Landeyjahöfn (Fähre für Vestmännaeyjar). Leider entsprach die Realität nicht der Beschreibung auf der Homepage. Der Bauernhof befindet sich (Mitte Mai 2026) in einer Übergangsphase, weil die neuen Hofeigentümer gerade eingezogen sind. Die Ferienwohnung sowie die Innenausstattung sind zwar veraltet, die Heizung funktioniert aber tadellos, ein nicht zu unterschätzendes Detail in Island :). Es gab weder Milch noch frische Eier, die Lage ist dennoch spektakulär, mit Blick auf den Eyjafjallajökull und auf die Vestmännaeyjar-Inseln.

Bathroom was very big. We saw the northern lights which made the stay much better. Spacious and unit was on the ground floor.
