A couple of things, beware if you are over 6 ft for hazards! Also know that street parking is very busy and that there is. No elevator. They also only had 1 key for for adults. Furth t, the rooms are not professionally finished, disappointing for spending over $400//night offseason!

The property was very clean and the view was amazing! Spacious room and newly renovated bathroom. Piles of restaurants within walking distance and located right on the Harbour. Could not beat the location. The only downside was that the listing said there was free offsite parking. This was true between 5 pm to 10 am only, otherwise you had to feed the meter, which in our case only cost $5. It was totally worth renting and we'd definitely return.

It was understaffed and slow. Room was clean but construction was sloppy. Soap and shampoo unacceptable for the price. Bar not well stocked.

They need a designated parking spot to unload your luggage they do not have parking. You park on the street with meters or you can go across the road and park in a parking lot @$20.a day.

Everything about the inn and the restaurant was wonderful. Best seafood chowder ever and the room was spacious with incredible water views. The only drawback was the three flights of stairs to climb.

This Inn was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately other than the view it was extremely disappointing. The room smelled musty, the towels were washed but need to be replaced as they were not clean. The bed was totally unacceptable. The headboard and frame need to be updated as you could not move without waking the person next to you. The bed was Extremely uncomfortable and not acceptable to sleep on. We did not get any sleep. Check in was just hand you the key and that was it no explanation on the restaurant or Inn. You also need to plan on parking as this is an extremely busing area and the Inn has no parking you are on your own. We had to park two blocks away and there is no option to pull up and drop bags.

Great location and view. Older building and decor, but the room was clean. Clean towels supplied daily. Coffee maker with pods supplied. Additional pods were given on seconded day, but dirty cups and spoons were not cleaned or replaced. Nightly rate is on the high side, but I guess your paying for the location and the view.

This was our first visit to Lunenberg and though it was out of season we enjoyed our visit immensely, Our room had a great view of harbour, was spacious, clean and felt very homey. Our meal at the Inn was delicious. I would recommend the Dockside Inn.

Overall the location is excellent, the view outstanding, clean and neat. Its a heritage building and that comes with older features, which is to be expected. Parking in Lunenburg is a challenge.

The property was on the water, so, great views. But, no parking, and no wifi. The carpet in the room was stained and the bathroom had no bathmats, the floor was very slippery when it got wet.

Positives: The room was clean, spacious, in an excellent location with a great view. You could walk to shops, restaurants, museums and activities. I was VERY excited to stay here! Negatives: This town is WAY overcrowded with tourists during summer months, and the property has NO PARKING. 😲 That was bad news! We had to wait 45 minutes for a space to open in the $20/day lot some distance away, then we hauled our bags up. The crowds die down after 5:30 and parking opens up, but the restaurants, shops and museums all close early, too. Although I loved the room, the bed was really uncomfortable. The matress was super hard. I tried 3 bed pillows and 2 couch pillows and they all hurt my neck so badly, I ended up using a bath towel for a pillow. We tried to check out early, as did another guest. No one was at the desk. The doors were locked to the office. No one answered the phone. We were strangers to the peopke in the other room, but we were all collectively stumped as to what to do. We all decided to just leave our keys in our doors since they didn't even have a key drop box. It was odd. We were happy to get out of Lunenburg.

View from room was beautiful but building and room was quite dated. Felt price of $258 per night was high for little amenities apart from coffee machine..i.e.no gym, no pool, so your paying for harbour view as room, furniture and building are quite old and worn. Access to rooms is via a stairwell adjacent to tavern. Checkin is within the restaurant which can be a busy area but lady was pleasant and efficient even though she was juggling many demands from restaurant patrons who were lined -up to both enter and leave the restaurant .Lunenburg is a pretty seaside town with lots of tourists and a variety of dining choices.

I booked only room available and it was huge with 2x queen beds, table, sofa, chair & to & full kitchen! Quite a few stairs to climb! It had fantastic views over harbour & beyond! Welcome was not great as busy in restaurant so standing around a bit! I was woken a few times with snoring coming through the wall from adjoining room! Quite disappointing & perhaps having one of the beds on another wall might help? If I could have moved the bed, I would have!!! Also NO PARKING but was lucky to park nearby on arrival!

Views were amazing! People amazing! The lower ceilings in the bathroom and kitchen area caused me to have to duck and when I forgot once, the result was a bloody head and headache. Perhaps a padding or something similar should be placed on the frame?

Our room was noisy as we were located right beside the air conditioning unit for the whole building. But our view out to the harbour with the Bluenose II in dock made up for any short comings. It is a good offering for a low budget vacation.

A very large room with unbelievable views over the harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff. The downide was primarily the furniture - the sofa has seen much better life and is niow in a poor state and the bed was small with an old mattress.

Amazing view, the staff was very helpful and gave us a late checkout upon request with no hassle. Easy relaxing stay close to everything. I would stay here again.

Nobody here when I arrived. Just a note stuck on the door for me to call a number provided. Had to carry bags upstairs through an unlocked door to my room, that had the key in the door! Restaurant not open. Parking meters outside so I have to move car by 10am! Room very hot and remote control for heater has dead batteries. The man on the phone was very nice and he has text replies to all my questions but I was expecting a normal check in, even though it's not the height of season. I was here around 5 so it wasn't a late check in.

Room was fantastic, a bit dated, but very good. Staff at check-in and Check-out not at all welcoming. but the location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the harbour. I would recommend it for your stay for sure.

Excellent view. Central location. Very clean. Older building but well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the waterfront.

Overall the location is excellent, the view outstanding, clean and neat. Its a heritage building and that comes with older features, which is to be expected. Parking in Lunenburg is a challenge.

Hotel is right at the dock in downtown Lunenburg so therefore it was convenient as it was easy to walk around. Finding a place to park on the street in front of hotel is tough but do able later in the day. Beds very comfortable and rooms are clean

What a view! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. While room was a bit outdated it was clean and comfortable. Did I mention the view? Bay windows overlooking the harbour. The restaurant was good and there are lots of other options around for variety.

I love the Dockside! Friendly staff. Beautiful view from our room. Right on the wharf and so lovely. Dessert is delicious. Would stay here next time I’m in Lunenburg.

Everything about the inn and the restaurant was wonderful. Best seafood chowder ever and the room was spacious with incredible water views. The only drawback was the three flights of stairs to climb.

Receive a text prior to arrival welcoming us …thank you Kyle. Had our best seafood chowder during our holiday at the restaurant. Our waitress, Kristin, was top notch. Amazing service. The pictures online did not do our room justice. We could not have a better view. You can’t beat waking up and having a clear view of the water …it was like glass. Definitely will be coming back again.

The staff and room were amazing!...the restaurant and food were also amazing!...extremely fresh seafood and expertly cooked. Prices were very fair seeing where its located and the views from our room overlooking the harbor and boats was priceless...we'd highly recommend the Dockside to anyone wanting a very quaint and enjoyable stay while in Lunenburg Rooms 1 and 2 have spectacular views ! Thank you both Kyle and Emma, you both are awesome! We'll be back very soon ! Al & Mar

We had a huge suite overlooking the harbour. Full kitchen, comfortable beds and nice bathroom, also cable TV. Very good breakfast at additional cost. Be aware that the hotel does not have designated parking and the street parking is $2/hr between 10am and 5pm if you are in the downtown area. Also lots of stairs. But overall a great stay.

Great view from room 5 and the bathroom was good but the sofa and chair should definitely be skipped as not fit to be in an establishment charging the rate they are Overall the room was tired and in a shabby condition but as I said previously,the view was excellent looking over the bay
